When Modric was coming along , never heard too many pundits saying, “that is the guy for HNS future”. He just became that. I say we get another surprise riser in the next 10 years who we can look back and be surprised how high they have climbed. Not saying we’re getting another Modric, but we’ll get a few guys develop.
Let’s be realistic at this point. Our national players are not at the highest level right now no matter how much we want to believe it. Perhaps Vuskovic will be a star, but we have heard the same about Gvardiol. Sucic and Baturina haven’t shown enough star quality just yet. Stanisic is not a star. It reminds me of the 2003-2006 years. Criticize Coach Dalic all you want but we are in a transition period that will take more time. Pongracic had a nice goal today and could’ve had two but the second was offside. Smolcic looked good. Idk why Baturina hasn’t been starting as much. Vuksovic looked solid and has put Brighton right at the top. Thank god he didn’t stay with the Spurs or in the Bundesliga.
We have to wait patiently for our defence to improve. No need to panic with Stanisic at 26, Gvadriol at 24, Vuskovic at 19. Our scoring on the other hand is the issue. Težak poraz Marsonije od Đakovo Croatije (4-0) pao je u drugi plan nakon ozbiljnog incidenta poslije utakmice devetog kola Treće NL Istok. Prema neslužbenim informacijama koje donosi 035portal, fizički je napadnut trener Marsonije, Veldin Karić (52).
Navodni napadač je Dario Jurević, a bio je nezadovoljan što njegov sin nije dobio priliku zaigrati. Sukobio se s Karićem i zadao mu udarac zbog kojeg je treneru bila potrebna liječnička pomoć. Prema istim informacijama, priveden je u policiju.
Jurević je u listopadu 2024. godine, nakon utakmice protiv Jadrana iz Luke Ploče, kao tadašnji klupski dužnosnik, fizički napao glavnog suca, piše isti portal.
Sada nove detalje otkriva Mijo Jozić s portala Sportalo. Incident se, prema njihovim informacijama, dogodio u hodniku ispred svlačionica otprilike 10–15 minuta nakon posljednjeg sučeva zvižduka. Do Karića je navodno došao otac jednog od mladih igrača Marsonije, nezadovoljan minutažom i statusom svoga sina u momčadi.
Karić je odgovorio kako je to njegov posao te kako će mladić dobiti priliku kad se dokaže, a otac je, tvrdi Sportalo, na to reagirao prividnim smirivanjem situacije tako da je zagrlio trenera i rekao kako je sve u redu, a zatim ga u idućem trenutku snažno nokautirao. Uslijedila je opća pomutnja, Jurević je navodno pobjegao iz hodnika, dok je Karić ležao na podu u lokvi krvi s vidno razbijenim nosom. Uz trenera Marsonije bio je predstavnik domaće momčadi Antun Labak.
Kako piše Sportalo, Karić je kolima hitne pomoći hitno prevezen u đakovačku bolnicu na daljnju medicinsku obradu, a prema prvim neslužbenim informacijama sumnja se na prijelom nosa, što se klasificira kao teška tjelesna ozljeda. Napadač je ubrzo priveden te se provodi kriminalistička istraga cijelog događaja.
