Bruno Petković scored a fantastic free kick from 20 yards out to help Dinamo come from behind to defeat Rijeka 2-1! With the win, Dinamo now hold a 4-point lead on Rijeka will only 3 matches remaining in the Prva Liga season. The crown is all but theirs. This will be a huge disappointment for Rijeka as Dinamo did not have a shot on goal until the 75th minute.
89′: Hoxha completing rips apart the right side of the Rijeka defense and scores all by himself. 2-1 Dinamo. The HNL race is over. Dinamo will take the crown once again.
75′: It’s been all Rijeka this match but Petković levels things up at 1-1 with a perfect free kick into the upper-right corner from 20 yards out. OH MY! Dinamo back in control of their HNL destiny.
50′: Marko Pjaca steps up to the penalty spot and shoots high and left to give Rijeka a 1-0 lead over Dinamo. What a dumb, dumb slide tackle from Dinamo’s Theophile-Catherine in the box on Marco Pašalić.
It’s 0-0 at halftime in Rijeka as Dinamo keep their 1-point lead on Rijeka should the match end in a draw. Rijeka have been the more offensive side in this match as they are playing for the win to control their own destiny in the Prva Liga title race. It’s obvious from their play that Dinamo would be happy with a draw. In the 1st half, Rijeka controlled 56% ball possession with six shots (1 on goal). Dinamo have yet to record a shot. Let’s see how hard Rijeka press for a goal after halftime.
I am starting to get excited about the Euros. Even if we can’t find scoring opportunities with the traditional stirker or target man, we have so many more options now. On top of our clutch goal scorers (Kramaric, Petkovic, a fit Perisic, etc ) we now have two emerging “jokers” in Gvardiol on the left, and Stanisic on the right. They’re taking their games to the next level. As long as everyone stays fit, we are poised to make a good run. Bog i Hrvati!
Stanisic is not a “joker” he’s very solid, and is an aerial threat, but “joker” he is not, and his game dosnt look like it will ever Trend that way
maybe joker is not the right word. i just meant its nice to have some extra scoring threats that may surprise the opposition.
Stanisic came on in the 90th minute, and scored in the 96th to hang on to their unbelievable unbeaten streak!!!! That goal wasn’t just to tie the game…they are now on a 49 game unbeaten streak!
That was a nice cut back by Stani
Cool as you like
Stanisic is ready to start for us at the Euros.
He has grown into his game.
That goal was silky smooth.
Check out Stanisic goal against Roma. We could use something like that for Croatia.

Unbelievable. Bog i Hrvati!
King luka is just king luka-ing
If nacho leaves and luka stays he can be alone at the top for titles next year
From bust to best
Couldn’t write a better story line
Modric instrumental in that Madrid comeback, unthinkable what he is doing at his age.
Managingmadrid.com ratings (keep in mind most substitutes don’t get higher than 7):
Luka Modric—7.5: Brought the required energy needed when replacing Kroos and raised the urgency and improved the rhythm of Madrid’s game late in the second half to turn the tide. Burst a lung in the final minutes of the match to get back and disposses Bayern on a 3 v 1 counter.
I heard that Wembly is a serb stadium because a serb is burrier underneath it?!
Serbs invented football but are such kind people they let others beat them because it would not be fair if they defeat everyone.
Ps this is sarcasm
I heard Germany were after modric when he was making his national team choice! Fredi bobic apparently advised Germany he wasn’t quite good enough to play for the mighty Germans
I pray none of you guys are on Serbian sports sites trying to stir up shit, that’s so hurting. That tells how you well your soccer team is doing when you need to do that sort of stuff to get a kick out of getting a rise out of people. Or it’s just a kid being a kid.
I highly doubt there are any Serbian soccer sites anyway.
That would be depressing.
Another Hrvat will win CL forst ever coach or luka 6
“massive paragraphs”
Bhahahahahahaha
Anonymous thinks and writes at lightning speed
Not like ur simpleton self – who needs a day to read a paragraph
Even sadder u spend time thinking, getting riled up and responding to an unknown on the internet
Now, get back to delivering the UPS parcels – I’m waiting for my mail – thanks
Why did Croatia exploit favela Belinho and his dad ?
A 14 y.o. can’t sign a professional contract – it’s not legal
Such exploitation of a poor family – it’s so sad
Watched Belinho on Maxsport play for Dinamo against Hajduk in the junior cup final which Hajduk won 1 – 0. This is the first time I have seen him play and the kid is good. Smallest player on the pitch, however the most skillful, creative and technically gifted on display.
Why did Croatia/Croatian give up the Kuna ?
Why no referendum ? lol
Croatia just freely gives away it’s national identify
Sad
Hey Anonymous,
You ok?
Nobody cares.
Croatia has the players she needs.
Go cry on a Serb or Yugo website.
Bog i Hrvati
Summarize re: Germany-born/based ethnic Croatian, Serbian, Bosnia & Slovenian
WINNERS (4 WC and 3 Euros):
Aleksandar Pavlovic – called-up Germany – so Germany (not Serbia)
Marko Marin – called-up Germany – so Germany (not Serbia / Bosnia)
Borna Sosa (Croatia-born, lol) – called-up Germany – so Germany (not Croatia)
Fredi Bobic – called-up Germany – so Germany (not Croatia / Slovenia)
vs.
LEFT-OVERS:
Kovac brothers – never called-up Germany (zero sources) – so Croatia
Klasnic – never called-up Germany (zero sources) – so Croatia (as 5th striker Euro 2004 – zero minutes, lol)
Matanovic – never called-up Germany (dropped after U18 plus Bungeslia 2, lol) – so Croatia
Stanisic – never called-up Germany (dropped after U19) – so Croatia
Lazar Samardzic – never call-up Germany (dropped after U21) – so Serbia
Moreover, w/in the “Left-Overs” the HNS had to BEG, CONVINCE and GUILT these players and their families to actually represent Croatia i.e. they needed multiple visits over several months – a real Croatian would need one phone call (bc he really wants to play for Croatia over anything else) and answer “I’m in !” as e.g.
“The Croatian FA and the coach have been making great efforts with me for several months and showed me how I fit in.”
Josip Stanisic, September 22, 2021
“Matanovic agreed after a long and synchronized campaign led by Pletikosa with the support of Kustic. The HNS technical director visited the young striker and his family for months.”
Total Croatia News, May 11, 2023
You need help.
…is it really such a pleasure to represent Germany over Croatia? are you honestly thinking they’re the preferred choice for Croatians? we don’t have Africas, Turks, Arabs or any other foreign Nation/Region infiltrating our country, we play with our own kind with the odd exception here and there …ie…Eduardo Da Silva.
since 1996 when we were robbed at the Euro’s by a shitty ref we lost twice, we won twice and we tied once. our small Nation fans and players wear our country colors with massive pride…can we say the same for German players and fans?
your theory is hilarious. I’m proud of our players that put their hand on the grb and sing our anthem proudly…I think we’ve proven to be a pretty good team at the international level, we haven’t won any major tournaments but I’ll take our results over a mixed bag of blacks, Arabs and Turks representing us any day!
Just think about the amount of time you have wasted on this website. Even worse, your comments are massive paragraphs. I feel sorry for you. Just accept that Serbia is shit and cannot win anything and move on with your life.
Read on SN that Vlasic will most likely miss the Euros.
Oh man, I really hope all the other guys will stay healthy through this last bit of the season…
Well Slavonac would be 😃
It may be a blessing in disguise if it means we score more goals.
It won’t, Dalic will still not play an Attacking midfielder yet again and then wonder why we can’t score goals/create chances.
https://www.fourfourtwo.com/features/ranked-every-euro-2024-manager
I’m always really hard on him, but it seems others aren’t.
Kek and Montella ranked way too low on that list.
Dalić ranked too high. He’s ok but not top-5 now, come on.
Ralf Rangnick bit disrespected here I reckon, he’s not all bad I rate him.
Forgot Spalletti was the coach for Italy, boy it will be interesting for how Croatia deals with him (More How Dalic deals with the other teams).
Did u miss euro 1996 ? lol
FREDI BOBIC
The CROATIAN ran ran ran to play for GERMANY
Desired by Germany so played for Germany (instead of with best friend Bilic)
He actually mocked Croatia ahead of the QF – where he STARTED alongside Klingsmann – he seemed very embarrassed that they realized he was Croatian by his name – sad

Re: Klasnic / Rudi Voller
Bhahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
I’m see people can read and parrot UNSOURCED INFO on Wiki (no link – geniuses)
But there is zero evidence Klasnic was ever desired by Germany / Voller
Do you really believe everything u read on the internet ? Bhahahahahahahaha
Do you really think Rudi would call up Klasnic for Euro 2004 ? Bhahahahahahaha
Low IQ – lack of critical thinking – once again Bhahahahahahahaa
Klasnic RODE THE BENCH for Croatia at EURO 2004 – BARIC DIDN’T EVEN LET HIM ON THE FIELD FOR A MINUTE – he couldn’t make it ahead of average non-world class strikers Prso, Olic, Sokota, Morner, bhahahahahahahaha
So he wasn’t go enough to play for Croatia – but the iconic German National team was chasing Klasnic bhahahahahahahahaahhahahahahahaahhaa
World Cup 2006 – one goal playing in the entire qualifiers – did nothing against Brazil nor Japan – so was replaced for pivotal 3rd match vs Australia
Euro 2008 he finally gets his one iconic goal vs. Turkey (for many reasons) – but the rest of his goals are basically in friendlies
And he had 1 overachieving goal tally in Bungesliga (pre 2007) – you can’t possibility think that the iconic German National Team actually wanted Klasnic ?
How naive can you be (I’m sure Klasnic promoted himself along the years with the narrative – so he looks better – but zero actual evidence / zero media reports – just his flapping gums)
I think many on here should stop posting and focus on finishing kindergarten to brush up their critical thinking skills
There is zero chance Germany National Team would have ever ask someone like Klasnic to play for them
But they did. No matter what fake storylines you create about players seemingly feeling ashamed to play for Croatia. These players all were approached by Germany. Many were capped in Germany’s youth selections too.
Bobic is Slovenian. He is born in Slovenia, with both parents Slovenian (with his mom being ethnic Croat) and he’s raised in Germany. Of course he would play for Germany first.
Who’s your next example going to be? Diego Maradona?
He chose Argentina over Croatia (because he’s part Croat too, haha).
Back in ’94, we had Suker, Boksic and all these other strikers anyway. We had guys like Ivica Vastic having to play for Austria because there was no room for strikers. We were fine without Bobic (even if he felt Croat enough on his mom’ s side to want to play for us), and I think Bobic knew that.
Whatever storylines you feel you need to create of him “seeming embarrassed” is probably just from an undiagnosed mental issue you may be dealing with.
You’ve backed yourself into a corner with fairytales about how you think players feel inside and are using obscure Serbian players as your only examples.
We give you actual Croats, and then you just make up assumptions of Germany not “desiring” Croat players (even though they’ve attempted to cap or have already capped many to their youth teams like Klasnic, Stanisic, and whoever). Yea, that makes a lot of sense.
I honestly feel sorry for Serbian diaspora guys like Anonymous. Only a Serb would know who Lazar Samardzic is (ha ha, wtf).
All that losing is affecting his psyche. I guess misery loves company, and he wants Croats to suffer in the loss with Serbs…but it ain’t happening.
Bobic is Slovenian. Thank you, next.
Yet another Dinamo championship is bad for the HNL and it’s getting boring – even for many Dinamo fans I think – seeing them win it year after year after year. I’m sorry for Rijeka who deserved the title more given how they’ve performed over the whole of the season. Rijeka were probably the better team on Sunday but didn’t take their chances when they should have done. Something that Hajduk fans also know all too well.
Well done to Dinamo however for likely winning the league (again) – I can’t say it’s really deserved this time around, but there’s no other team in the HNL who are so relentless in their desire to win and for that we should all respect them for what they’ve done. Hajduk and now Rijeka need to learn from that, but they probably won’t as usual.
sure, winning year after year is a bit boring but this season was far from boring. Hajduk had total control of their outcome. They were mid season (Fall champions) champs, at one point 13 points ahead of Dinamo….and this was a terrible Dinamo with an uprava that is fighting and their weakest lineup in years.
the best part of this was that refs were brought in to ensure Hajduk wouldn’t get screwed by hometown refs and then Hajduk went on a losing streak.
we are waiting for the next conspiracy theory. yesterday it was announced that Hajduk players went to greet Torcida after their loss to Varazdin…everyone except Perisic! I love it! He’s not gonna pander to those fucks…finally someone with a set of balls!
Not boring at all. This was an exciting season, Hajduk and Rijeka have no one to blame. I thought last month Rijeka had it wrapped up but they faltered and let easy points get away.
Hajduk forgot the season ended in May.
Have to give Dinamo credit as they didn’t give up and fought back.
I will be curious if they can retain some of the key players and make a push for CL.

THE BEST PLACE IN ZAGREB
Where’s ARMADA87? 😂😅😅😅
Right here, pal. Dinamo deserved it. Rijeka had a few mental midget moments and to je to.
dan žalosti za srbe u Rijeci…..hahahaha
Ako računamo na Pjacu za Euro2024 onda smo skroz u kurcu
I only got to watch from the 75 minute, but man that was an exciting ending! VOLIM TE DINAMOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
