Eintracht Frankfurt striker Ante Rebić once again justified his call up to the Croatian national squad for the Greece playoff with another ‘wunder gol’ Friday night against Werder Bremen in a 2-1 victory. The 24 year-old striker curled a one-timer from 18 yards out to beat the Bremen keeper for his fourth goal in last six matches. Rebić is known to be an emotional player who can bring some fire into the Croatia lineup. With Mandžukić and Kalinić cold as of late, what are the chances Croatian manager Dalić starts Rebić up top?
Rebić Goal vs. Werder Bremen
Ivan Rakitić had a solid match Saturday versus former club Sevilla as Barcelona won 2-1 with Rakitić assisting on the game winner. Barca striker Paco Alcacer was ‘Man of the Match’ with two goals but Rakitić wasn’t far behind. He received an ‘8’ performance as he “inspired playing against his former club, Rakitić was everywhere. He played a huge role in the winning goal with an inch-perfect cross for Alcacer, but also saw a 25-yard effort fly inches wide and should have been awarded a penalty in the closing stages.”
Raketa is warming up at the right time with Croatia hosting Greece in the World Cup playoff this Thursday in Zagreb.
Rakitić Assist (3:08)
Dejan Lovren played the last three minutes for Liverpool as they defeated Slaven Bilić’s West Ham 4-1 Saturday. Lovren is at 100% health, however, his confidence may still be low after a rough past two months at club level for Liverpool. It will be interesting to see what role he plays for Croatia against Greece.
West Ham manager Slaven Bilić after 4-1 loss to Liverpool
Fomer Croatia manager Slaven Bilić has been on the chopping block at West Ham and his most recent loss to Liverpool won’t help. Bilić says he is “not a broken man” alluding to the possibility of being sacked sooner than later at West Ham. If he is, would you welcome Bilić to manage Croatia at the World Cup; should they qualify?
#1 Croatian goal keeper Danijel Subašić was taken off at halftime Saturday in Monaco’s 6-0 win over Guingamp. Suba picked up a right thigh knock and should not miss any time versus Greece as the move was purely precautionary.
@idemo i am in Cleveland! I am not sure about anything going out at the dom but happy moose usually shows the games and gets a turnout. Especially since it looks like the return leg will be on espnews.
I’d totally forgotten about Runje! Didn’t he have warpaint on his face? he was good actually!
Arnautovic is another example why you cannot trust a srb.
News flash- dinamo beats Slaven on a last minute goal . O my I can’t believe it . You dumb asses don’t you see this ? Open your eyes. 3/4 of their wins come in the last minute. Blind leading BC , Pog , Slav from Canada .etc . Dumb people.
This Bilic sucks! He sucks at picking players and changing subs.
I know this right, so let’s go back to euro ’08 vs Turks. With the last subs opportunity, I will change that Goalie Pletikosa to another Goalie like Runje and Galinovic. Pletikosa even couldn’t stand sturdy and looked shaking.
I like the positive energy Zee brings to the site 🙂
Yeah Arnautovic is utter garbage, it’s true
Hajduk bet on a Rudes win!
@idemo
No, I’m not saying refs aren’t paid or have never been paid.
But I’ve watched plenty of Hajduk vs Dinamo derbies (including the last match) and I don’t think Hajduk loses these games because of reffing.
Seems to be the go-to excuse for Hajduk losing the league, instead of trying to understand why they lost to Rudes.
Doesn’t seem to phase Rijeka, and they won the title last year because of it.
BC Slav & Pog r idiots . Nothing but trouble . Commit influence
You think West Ham can attract players? Payet was an outlier my friend
Should be safe! I wasn’t talking about cartel, I was talking about the alcohol at bars and hotels. Some places buy knock-off alcohol and often times it’s home made shit with extreme amounts of alcohol. Many people pass out after one drink, others never wake up and die! It’s not easy to know what you’re drinking so buy your own bottles if you can.
Thanks.
I think we’ll be alright. Gonna be with some locals too. Apparently the area is really nice and run by cartels. No visible petty crime. Hope it’s as safe as I’ve been told.
Good luck Zee!
Arnautovic is a big failure. Bilic took a big chance with him and he let him down.
I’m on my way wish me luck.
Slavonac. I know what you mean.
I have really good friends that live in a great area (private/gated) of Cancun…if you ever need help or something you should find a way for us to exchange email addresses…they’d help you out and speak English. Not trying to scare you but always be aware…there’s been alcohol swapping incidents there lately!
Will do.
Hoping to catch a Venados FC match in Merida if they happen to be playing. Haven’t been able to find the 2018 Clausura schedule yet..
Mexican food is top 3
@slavonac I learned Spanish through Mexican league
any of you in Cleveland?
Thinking of coming there for the return leg is there anything happening at the Dom?
I’ve never been to Yucatan but I’ve heard it’s nice. I’ve been to Cancun and Playa del Carmen a few times. I hope you enjoy it…let me know your thoughts once you’re back.
You are sir a gentleman!
Love me some Mexican cooking!
Heading to the Yucatan in February.
Cool slavonac. I’m leaving tomorrow. Talk to you guys later. Take care. And of course let’s win this shit. Gotta crush these cigani!
Poglavnik, you and any other Hrvati are invited to my house to watch the game…I’ll tell my wife to make a good Mexican lunch!
I just got SNW and swapped it…I had Bein Sports!
Hahahah!!
I hear ya.
That was my first game there in about 7 or 8 years I think, and only because it wasn’t on t.v. Once in a blue moon it’s cool but I can’t go as often as I used to.
I’ve watched so many games there…listening to people scream “daj mu loptu picka ti materina””!!! I just can’t handle it anymore…
And good luck to me. Haha and everyone dobrje volje. I’m out till Thursday. Going to see my mom. Lets do this!
Ok good luck fellas.
Yeah I don’t go to socialize.
I just need a quiet corner with a good view and I’m happy.
I’ll call Shaw!
I don’t usually like to watch games at the Dom anymore. Too many of my friends like to talk during the game.
Good point pog. But slavonac should have it if he got Shaw. I’m not an expert but if he is golden horseshoe he should.
@Slavonac
The Centar is a good option.
It’s free unlike the $20 they used to charge.
Was there for the Ukraine game and it was great.
Not overly busy. Only had to show up about 20 minutes to kickoff and got a great table.
And that was on a Thanksgiving Monday so I expected it to be busier with most people off work. This Thursday shoulder be quieter I’d think.
Slavonac. Ya snwl. Which is sportsnet world it is on 14:45 our time. Maybe shaw didn’t do time change yet which i doubt. Let me know.
@maminjo are you saying refs aren’t paid…..or have never been paid……
Geez slavonac let me look into it call my cable and satellite guy. Are you in T.O? I’m just just down the road if you are.
Greece has a foreign coach, German Michael Skibbe, so Greece should win.
I’ll still watch it anyway.
Zee, I have the channel but it’s not showing on the guide.
Slavonac. Sportsnet world i believe.
Maminjo sure it’s a religion. So is varteks so is dinamo so is rijeka and zadar and so on. But as a croatian kid everyone wants to go to zagreb for greener pastures. When hajduk a better system was i hate to say it was b4 independence. Now our capital runs the show. Fortunately and unfortunately.
Am I seeing right? I have Shaw satellite and it looks like they won’t be showing the game this Thursday?!?!
@ Zee
Hajduk used to have a better youth setup than Dinamo.
Also, Hajduk is a religion in Dalmacija. It was a mortal sin to go to Dinamo.
But the heads at Hajduk ruined all that (and ruined a ton of young careers), so these smarter parents are signing with Dinamo (who developed and produced so many more players).
You have kids ditching youth setups in better leagues (like in Austria or Spain) to sign with Dinamo. That says a lot. Hajduk has nobody signing for them, unless they are a desperate and hungry kid from Africa maybe.
But instead of trying to fix things at Hajduk, it’s easier to just claim that the HNS is bought and refs are all paid off for Dinamo to win.
@maminjo
So what I’m hearing from you is “wer just not good enough”
Germany can do with a shit coach because they are alpha Croatia cannot because they are not omega?
Sammir is the most blatant example of this perversion. I’m sure it’s not tough to name a couple more, but it seems wer just gonna chalk that up to Mamic financial success, oh well.
@slavonac
I’m sorry that is not just a split problem
You know which team doesn’t need a foreign coach to top the group? Iceland, Heimir Hallgrimsson.
Croatia and Ancelotti would’ve beat Iceland and Hallgrimsson to top the group?
The reality is that Croatia is not as good a team as Iceland, Iceland is better than Croatia, Iceland topped the group, Iceland went further at the Euros.
I predicted Iceland to top the group.
You guys asking for a foreign coach must’ve thought Croatia should’ve topped this group, lol?
@maminjo. If you are 15 and good where do you go? Rijeka? Please. You go to Zagreb. Whether you from varazdin, koprivnica pozega vukovar split zadar and so on. Just how it is.
Great posts Maminjo.
You get my vote to take over this site from Holiga Jr Kvartuc. We need somebody with sense to fix the troll nest and conspiracy propagating center that this site has become.
^ ^
Sorry that was me.
Wouldn’t want anyone to think that some moron named anonymous had a witty comeback.
@Anonymous
We’re both aware of it’s powers, thanks.
@ Mr. Black
If Krovinovic starts for Benfica, he will eventually get his callup.
He hasn’t been in the picture to date, as he’s been on medicore teams his entire career. But being only 22 and starting for a top European club like Benfica will get him on our team.
Just needs to get more games under his belt. It’s very early in the season and he’s only played meaningful minutes in 3 games (and started only one).
Can’t start blaming Mamic just yet. 😉
Well Rijeka this year has had more exposure to Europe than Dinamo has…but they still don’t produce any young talent for the first team nor our National Team.
They are on the right path with stable ownership (Volpi) and a great coach (Kek)…but they still haven’t really developed any young local talent. Not sure if they are investing in it (or if their plan is to continue to just buy foreigners and former Dinamo players) but it will be their downfall if they don’t.
Hajduk has LOADS of local talent to choose from, yet they still choose to be corrupt and play each other’s kids. Can’t blame Nikola Moro’s parents for moving to Zagreb if Hajduk are not willing to even give him a chance.
Osijek is also a base for loads of Slavonian talent…but they still don’t really develop talent like they should. They seem to be on the right track, but still rely on Dinamo developed players to succeed.
Istra Pula, meanwhile, have taken a step backward since that American consortium purchased them, with absolutely zero investment in their youth programs. Such a shame.
Osijek and Split are sitting on a goldmine. Athletic stars are born there every day. They just need to take advantage of it. Rijeka seems to have everything else in place, so hopefully they start developing players (in the least football-talented region of Croatia).
Otherwise, Dinamo will just continue to dominate at no cost.
Pog tell that to your daddy faggot
Of course maminjo they get the biggest exposure Europe wide. I’m an osijek fan. Don’t care for either or but if I’m a kid i go to Zagreb first for the exposure.
@Anonyomous
Your mothers pussy does have that effect on me..
@idemo
Re: Your comment….
“My bone with Mamic Suker all of them…..is that they are preventing my national team.”
What are they doing to prevent progression of our National Team, exactly?
Is it because they won’t hire a good “foreign” coach?
If so, then I agree with you on that one. I think we need to get a good coach, and since there are few good Croat coaches, I’d be fine with a good foreign one.
However, if you hadn’t noticed…most National Football Associations do not hire coaches outside their nationality. This is a fact.
England, Italy, Argentina, Brazil, Germany, Spain…these are the best teams in the world, and they all only hire their own. Sure, they have many more quality coaches to choose from than we do…but they still choose a lot of inexperienced duds.
Germany’s Joachim Low’s managerial club career is a joke. Coached mediocre teams, rarely lasted a year, and then fired (many times for relegating his teams).
Argentina also hires random dud coaches and former players, like Maradona, to coach their National Team.
Italy and Brazil are usually good at hiring experienced coaches, but still regularly hire inexperienced duds like Dunga, Donadoni and Prandelli.
England regularly hires bum coaches, and although they are playing well now, the hiring of Gareth Southgate is no different than our hiring of Zlatko Dalic.
Current World Class teams like Belgium have hired “Igor-Stimac-caliber” coaches with zero experience, like Marc Wilmots (yet their fans don’t try to kick them out of World Cups). Even Iceland’s National Team coach coached local women’s football before taking his role.
Believe it or not, getting a quality foreign coach is no guarantee and in most cases they MISS more often than HIT.
Look at Fabio Capello. He was great with England against us in qualifying, but was incredibly mediocre at the World Cup. His tenure with Russia was also disappointing.
In addition to Capello, you have guys like Hiddink, Advocaat, Vogts, and even Trappatoni who were overall flops at the NT level (despite being paid top dollar by these FAs).
I get where you’re coming from with our coaching decisions…but I have a feeling that if we hired (for example) Ancelotti, and we still ended up being knocked out in the Round of 16, it wouldn’t change a damn thing with our fans just villainizing the HNS and blah blah blah.
I think getting an experienced coach (be it a foreign one or not) is the first step, but we have a long way to go to create a consistent system that we adhere to (regardless of who our coach is). Italy has this. Greece developed their identity and style back in ’04 and have stuck to it (with more success than they deserve). Iceland just started theirs, and now they are competitive despite having a women’s football coach at the helm.
This, in addition to our HNL teams investing and developing their youth teams (the way Dinamo does) will make us consistent tournament performers and eventual champs.
Thank you Pog . Remember who owns you
And what’s to stop nikola moro from solin to going to zagreb? Nothing. He is a hajduk fan. But where is he? Its the promise of cash from a bigger club in Europe at some point. Let’s get real.
Good one Anonymous!
Tudor is having a great season with Galatasaray.
Took over a team that finished 6th and has them in 1st.
He should be considered in the future for the Repka.
Does he have any bad blood with Mamic or Suker? I know there was drama with him in the past at Hajduk.
Hey Pog , back at you dumb ass
@Anonymous
And you clearly are not a smart man.
Unless you’ve got something intelligent to say, fuck off.
Lican,
They guy is already 26. Two seasons ago he was top scorer in the Serie B with Crotone. His coach was Juric.
Crotone promoted to Serie A but Budimir went to Sampdoria were he didn’t manage to get into the starting 11. This season he returned to Crotone and it seems to work out for him. But I don’t think we should consider him for our national team.
What’s the deal with Nikki Vlasic? He didn’t even make the bench for Everton today.
One Hrvati who did play was Filip Krovinovic. The guy is only 22, a real number 10 and he played the entire game today for Benfica against Vittorio (Benfica won 1-3).
Poglavnik I thought you were a smarter man than this . Now you have even become a trader . You make us very mad and sad .
Idemo you just answered. Everton bought vlasic. Who did hajduk get in return besides cash? Davies and a 2nd round pick? Thats just my point. You are a free agent in football from 13 if you wish!
Maminjo, you are very good at being factual and credible…very good comments!
Idemo, I have family I Split and I read the news. You can’t tell me that week in and week out there aren’t articles originating from Hajduk supporters and Split regarding Mamic and his influence on the savez…and how they should respond?!?!
It’s a distraction dude! Look over there and nothing to see here…it’s been like that for years!
My favourite was when Tudor quit a few days before the league was coming back from the winter break…that was a ciganska pjesma…only in Hajduk is something like that possible!
Pig , Lick
@Maminjo
Make sure there are lots of pretty pictures and not too many big words so Anonymous can read it too.
Koemann was really good for Vlasic…..he bought him team playing shitty was going to give the youth a try
Is unsworth just a care taker?
Modric on the bench for RM. A number of our starters got rest this weekend. That could be helpful over the two legs.
BC-Big Cunt , grow some balls and stop licking dinamos
Maminjo go wright a book you unreadable majmun
@Mr black
You know anything about this budimir kid from crotone in serie a?? He just scored a couple yesterday!
@Maminjo
Great posts!
Idemo my point was dinamo didn’t trade a 1st a 2nd and just off the top of my head borna sosa to hajduk for moro. It don’t work that way. No draft. Just how it is.
@Slavonac
No game should be played at Poljud until they find those culprits. Those Torcida if they have any balls should protest Hajduk management.
@Zee
I think the team will do well against the Greeks. I am more concerned one of our hooligans cause more trouble for our team.
No zee it’s ok this is good conversations.
@maminjo
I’m in your boat, I don’t care for either. I’m geographically closer to split and still root for Dinamo in Europe.
But the success is outside of the point really. My bone is not hajduk vs Dinamo……Mamic has next to nothing to do with hajduk lack of success….what does hajduk letting players go have to do with the NT? a lot of players you mentioned actually became players!
Those that do claim otherwise or make lame jokes are just as annoying.
My bone with Mamic Suker all of them…..is that they are preventing my national team.
@slavonac
I think you know well that field invasions are not just a problem in split, how many times have Messi and Ronaldo hugged people on the pitch? Now imagine those same people with fucked up intentions. Patrice Evra had to kick someone in the head this week
Maminjo don’t you realize this is a form of human trafficking? I happens all over the world man. Africa, South America Europe etc. Thats how football is. You sell. It’s not like nfl nhl mlb etc where you trade for players and draft picks. It won’t change bro!
Just for the record, I’m neither pro or anti Mamic.
Just hate this whole partisan attitude where you have people who “pick a side” and just believe in whatever supports their side (similar to the whole left vs right political thing people do).
Mamic is definitely a shady character, in a giant pool of shady characters. He has the biggest mouth, and it has drawn the most attention.
Removing him would be great, but would not change a thing. Hajduk will still ROYALLY suck and they will continue to blame whoever else is HNS president (or probably just claim that Mamic still controls things from prison, or his son, or whoever).
Claiming that games are fixed, beating up referees, trying to get your National Team kicked out of tournaments, etc is all just nonsense and won’t hurt any of the corrupt individuals (and instead just land you in jail and ruin things for the kids).
That whole country is corrupt with varying degrees of guilt.
The ones who aren’t guilty, are approaching the situation with a very “throw them in jail” populist mentality, which the common people love to hear.
I like Bozo Petrov and the MOST reformist party, but their approach is not going to get them elected to clean up the corruption. Same goes for Dario Simic and his run for HNS presidency.
There are lots of people in Cro who were a ‘part’ of the corruption, but probably not major players. These people make up the majority of the population, and you need them to be on your side to force change. They would probably be happy with change, but they don’t want to be persecuted by proxy.
You can’t start clamoring with hysteria that all people involved need to be tarred and feathered. Then, out of fear, nobody will force change because they are afraid of being criminalized for simply being a part of something they didn’t really control.
Look at Dalic.
He’s probably one of those who are buddy buddy with guys like Suker and other HNS folk…but would probably love for things to change for the better. He’s gone out of his way to portray himself as a patriot who (although he’s part of that circle) is not doing anything for money or power and just wants to coach. He’s probably being honest. Same goes for Ante Cacic. Cacic is apparently a very good person. I doubt he is making any real cash, and probably took over the National Team duties for the right reasons.
But you know that if the results don’t come in, Dalic will be grouped with Mamic, Suker, and now Cacic into the same pool of money-making monsters and puppets that are ruining Croatian football.
Ya slavonac from Canada! He wasn’t even on the bench.
And who is at fault at Hajduk when both Srna and Pletikosa were “sold” to Shaktar for 1.2 million euros?
Nobody was there to see what the true transfer value was. Just the Stimac bros (wink wink), but I’m sure that Hajduk’s two best players are worth that combined amount, lol.
Who was at fault at Hajduk when they let talented players like Perisic, Rebic, Prso, Lakic, Jelavic, etc go through their ranks and leave for nothing?
All of these guys ended up having careers in the top-5 leagues in Europe, yet Hajduk was THAT incapable that they thought these guys all had zero value.
Has Dinamo ever let anyone walk away for nothing?
Even when Dinamo dealt with headcases and difficult players and their fathers, they still made money off them (ie. Kranjcar, Kramaric, Halilovic).
Dinamo not only recognizes and makes money off player talent…they actually go out and POACH talent from other teams.
They poached Mateo Kovacic and Ante Coric from Linz and Salzburg’s youth teams. Spent almost nothing to bring in both players, and will easily make in the tens of millions of euros off both of them.
They snaked Dani Olmo from Barcelona’s youth system, and that kids is a striker for the Spanish U19 National Team. He’ll be a 15 Million Euro player at a minimum.
Players from Dalmacija (like Vrsaljko and Modric) who are fans of Hajduk growing up, are being snapped up by Dinamo simply because Hajduk is both inept and also VERY corrupt where all the starting spots and youth team rosters are occupied by the children of prominent former Hajduk players.
Why the fuck did Gabric and Andrijasevic’s kids get automatic roster spots on Hajduk all those years ago?
How much money did Hajduk make off of developing Drago Gabric and Franko Andrijasevic after all those years?
Perisic was told to take a hike off to second division France, yet Franko Andrijasevic gets an automatic spot, LOL.
We talk about nepotism and cronyism being a problem in Croatia…just look at Hajduk.
Still continues today with Nikola Moro (another future star) moving to Zagreb as a youth after Dinamo discovers him playing football in fucking SPLIT, lol.
Torcida needs to forget about Dinamo, and instead of beating referees, should beat the shit out of all those Hajduk Execs sitting at Zapad.
Fair comment Zee! I agree!
I’m curious to know what’s going on with Vlasic!
Ok fellas everyone has had their say. No more in fighting. Dinamo this and hajduk that. Lets focus on this week coming up! Let’s get through this week together and next week we go back to it. This week is more important. U boj!
Had Ostojic found out who put the seastika on the field yet?
Come on Idemo, that’s not the only reason and you know it! They’ve been blamed for so much more….and…are you saying the swastika was in protest to that? I’d never ever play in split again if that’s the reason! They can’t even secure the field from hooligans jumping on with a weapon!
BC . Does that stand for Big Cunt ?
Honestly.
Genuinely thinking toricda blames DZ for their troubles is a farce. It all stems from Zagreb being constantly picked over split for NT games. Hate is hate.
Anonymous, we all know he’s guilty…nobody is saying he isn’t but for the 1000th time, who isn’t corrupt in Croatian politics or with people in power?
About Holiga…I saw this site exchange pleasantries with Holiga on Twitter. That just shows me that people will do anything for their cause, even side with the enemy!
Slavko from Canada . You can’t blame him for everything, but he still has his filthy hands in the cookie jar .
Dalic is a total mystery at this point. Can’t complain about his call-ups or tactics to this point, but the sample size is way too small. I’m still concerned we have the equivalent of a 16 year old at the wheel of a race car here (inexperience)
Nothing bad to say about him, but we’ll see how he performs if he has to make some difficult tactical choices in the upcoming matches…
Mamic is to blame for Hajduk’s abysmal uprava and team record?
Mamic was to blame before and now
@Maminjo
Good post and I am just waiting for them to turn on Dalic. As you say he was part of a great win in Ukraine. I think it will continue against the Greeks.
@Slavonac
“Hajduk is now in a position where they really need to self reflect, Mamic isn’t their issue but this is where they look to point blame! I hope they deal with their own issues and move forward!”
Well said but don’t fool yourself. It will not play out like that and you know it.
They are hooligans and will do everything to disrupt and damage the reputation for the National Team. Fuckin holiga all over again. They turn around constantly to blame Mamic and Dinamo. Fuckin joke these losers. I was in Croatian this summer and had to shake my head at the papers and the crap they would stay. They have to look in the mirror and as you say deal with their issues but they won’t. It has gone on too long and now this mind set is entrenched into them.
Idemo, I’ve always liked Hajduk…ever since I was a kid…and even though I’m a Dinamo fan, I’ve always liked Hajduk’s players and their image as a team. Over the course of the last several years, Torcidasi have turned me off because they ignore their own clubs failures and corruption but always blame Dinamo and Mamic for anything that goes wrong! It’s like a parent saying their kid is perfect and your kid is an asshole!
Lika and Maminjo, great posts…we should all acknowledge the BS about our corrupt savez and always hope for positive change but the reality is that Croatia has corruption issues and the savez is only one small part of that!
We should never ever protest our team, not for any reason! The major reason we’ve had some seriously bad exposure in the public is because of BBB and Torcidasi…many of them are nothing but thugs, no jobs, no future, all about themselves! So many teams and countries have similar issues and yet when do we see a group trying to sabotage their national team! Our players don’t deserve that, nor do those that love our country!
Hajduk is now in a position where they really need to self reflect, Mamic isn’t their issue but this is where they look to point blame! I hope they deal with their own issues and move forward!
@tgad, where will this be?
Our center backs in 2018 are going to be Vida and Mitrovic; they will be playing in the same club from January onward.
I like certain things about Mamic….he has helped Croatia develop talent…mind you in a self serving way. People just bash him because dinamo is on another level compared to hajduk. Personally I cheer for every Croatian team that plays in Europe…but we all know there is one royal team in Croatia.
@idemo
At the same time, all the Mamić haters are pretty quiet on Zlatko Dalić being coach.
He’s not the much-desired “foreign” coach. He’s just your typical not-so-experienced Croatian coach who is probably part of that small circle of Croat coaches (no different than Čačić) that Mamić would approve as coach.
Yet because Dalić is a likeable character, and got us a big win in Ukraine… All the haters are quiet.
They will stay quiet, until Dalić loses… Then it’s all Mamić’s fault again, LOL
idemo right on . Slav from Canada and BC are very unique in their stupidity
the only thing worse on people blaming everything on mamic and dzg are the ones making the sarcastic jokes about “is this mamic fault to”
but ill take a stab, the lot of you making these comments are rather quiet about mamic blocking Ladic appointment, once again mamic affecting the NT, but he’s not corrupt and great for the NT
Sammir to replace kolinda while we’re at it
Rebic is obviously the greatest player in the world right now and we’ll lead us to the WC
😉
Anonymous, boy are you witty…
She has lobster claws not a good idea
Anonymous, I would let your mama grab my cock. Lol
You cunts would let Kevin Spacey grab your cocks.
All aboard the rebic train!! Choo choo!!
This train can be the one to get the diaspora to the promised land that have been stranded by the broken down halilovic express. Other people requiring rides are those on the pjaca intercontinental and mateo krotch does itch express
Let’s not get too excited about these goals. I hope this guy becomes the next Ronaldo (he won’t), but best case is probably a poor man’s perisic down the road. Even alen haliloshit scored a few goals and motm for gijon before disappearing off the face of the earth
you guys don’t know anything about the possible contribution of players -> forget about how good Perisic playing in a club, He is totally rubbish here, and we afraid Subasic will terribly numb compare to Lovren in his recent match!
……………………..Lovre Kalinic…………………….
……..D Vida…………Corluka…………Lovren………
….Rakitic……….…Milan Badelj………….Vrsaljko….
…………Ante Rabic…Modric…Mandzukic………….
…………………….…Kramaric………………………..
Yes, if not for Subasic’s blunder against Turkey we would’ve ended up second in our group, that’s true.
Slavonac, you should know better!! Mamic fixed the hajduk game. Lmao
Mr Black, Subasic has been terrible for us as of late…Lovro wouldn’t hurt if he got called up. Subasic and that blunder cost us the turkey game.
Rebic played some good games last season, he was just a shit finisher, which means he scored fuck all goals and for guys that don’t watch the games but just follow the results you wouldn’t know that. I’m not surprised by Rebic’s form at the moment, all he needed to do was improve his finishing, and he still has some work to do in that area.
Also, during the Eintracht game the commentators were saying what a great job Kovac has done with a team that hasn’t got the money to just go out and buy players, and that many players have come to Eintracht because of Kovac, this also pleases me greatly!
Looks like the stars are lining up for us for this game but i don’t want to get too confident, gonna be tough for sure, those greeks are shrewd little bastards
Lol. Hajduk can’t beat Rudes. Cico where are you. Whose fault is this? Dinamo? Mamic?
This is as bad as Rijeka getting smashed 4 – 1 this past week by Wien.
Thanks mr.black. apparently he played great today for barca.
…I’m shocked none of these Torcidasi are here criticizing their shitty team but make no fucking mistake…we hear them loud and clear when Dinamo news pops up!
Hajduk 2 – 3 Rudes
Embarrassing!!!
And some bad news: Danijel Subasic was subbed out after 45 minutes in their 6-0 victory.
It appears not to be too bad but they’re talking about a light tigh contracture. Wait and see if he will be ready to play against Greece.
best player of course
Rakitic Man Of The Match today. He played great and one assist. No injury for Ivan.
And more good news: Central defender and probably Greence’s best play could be out:
Hellas Football Twitter:
Sokratis has hobbled off the ground for Dortmund and is now in huge doubt for the WC Playoffs with Croatia
Rakitic looks like he got hurt bad just now
Bilic out, Moyes in
Anyone know if Hajduk is still a real contender for HNL?
Another sweet goal by Rebic, good to see that dude seemingly getting himself back on track and not just disappearing into the ether forever like Livaja
Strinic in for sampdoria. Looks ok so far its only half hour in though.
Ya idemo i think you right about slaven. That budimir guy scored 2 for crotone today. You
Might be the end for Slaven
When is jedvaj due back
Realistically if we made World Cup u got to have corluka and vida in middle unless vida goes out wide
No room for lovren?
No lovren or vrsaljko. Both benching it.
Manolas got a yellow card for delaying the game.
Delaying the game is too obvious, if you’re looking for a card to clear your suspension. He should have just fouled a player then acted angry and swear at the ref.
Getting a yellow for cursing at the ref is easy, and less likely to be investigated. He was an idiot for literally holding the ball until the ref eventually gave him a yellow.
Absolute goal
The amount of bounces that ball took before rebic got it was like a pinball
Little lucky where it landed but that finish was stellar like he wasn’t even trying
A goal scorers goal.
And relax I’m not calling him pele truth
Just saying how that looked effortless
Someone who can capitalize on more chances is what we need. We have all seen more then enough balls sail into the upper deck these past few years that were actually legit chances. I think rebic and kramaric are the ones u can convert those
Will be interesting to watch what dalic will do formation wise in practice
Also a positive rebic kramaric and maybe pjaca less so next few months gonna push our fowsrds especially perisic and won’t think his job is guaranteed
Love for perisic to show himself this week. He’s due
So they saying he inconsistent… well he hot right now so hopefully can make the best of it for us
Guess we should thank kovac for pushing him
He prob super happy that one of his boys could make a diff
My simulator(dream last night) said we tied 1-1 in cro and had a late goal disallowed
Interesting on the Manolas suspension. Are we getting some favoritism for once or was this called for?
4th goal in 6 games.
If he wasn’t warming the bench earlier in the season, he probably would have more on the season.
Wow! How many goals does Rebic have so far this season? He was well positioned to begin with, but the reading of the keeper and the bend on that shot are something altogether exceptional.
Lovely goal.
Commentators sure did spend a lot of time talking rather negatively about him though — inconsistency etc.
