If the they want to be Turks there is a country called Turkey. They can go there anytime. Shame the Serbs weren’t smart enough to work with us to split that country. They had the military advantage and thought they didn’t need us.
@vatrena cast
Interesting what you said about the politicians trying to raise tensions for political gain. I would love to read that article. I guess it makes sense. But what doesn’t make seance is this……….
Remember when Ciro was the national team coach for Bosnia? I forgot if it was for the World Cup or for the Euro’s, anyway it was a while ago. I vividly remember reading an article of how at Bosnia’s National Team home games during qualifiers, Bosnian Muslims fans always brought out the Turkish flag to the Bosnian home games. It wouldn’t matter what team they were playing , Estonia, Ireland, Belarus, or even a Germany. The whole stadium would be flooded with Turkish flags. So during that article Ciro said ( because Bosnia was in the same group as Turkey ) and the game that was being played in Bosnia was an important one for Bosnia, they needed a win against Turkey to either qualify or go ahead in points. Again, I’m sorry, I forgot what tournament it was for. But Ciro specifically said in the article I read. Ciro called out the Bosnian fans in a Bosnian newspaper and said ” I know you guys love your Turkish flags. But since Turkey is coming here to
Bosnia to play us, and we need these three points, can you please leave your Turkish flags at home “
do people really care who other people are rooting for?
Bosnia is a mess of a country. I feel for anyone who has to live or visit that place.
It wasn’t a Croatian politician. A Muslim one. I’ll keep looking
@vatrena cast
I wish you can find that articale. Did the Croatian politician know that Turkey was going to win? Seems like a lame excuse by the left to diffuse tensions. I hope they blow upthat bridge in Mostar again.
@stipe
I read an article a few months ago about that fiasco and apparently all the flags that were flown in sarajevo were made in croatia and were bought by a politician in bosnia to raise tensions for political gain. many of the people waving the flags were actually foreigners and were also paid to waive them.
I wish i could find the article, great read.
Yea and remember Euro 2008 when we lost to the Turks?????? Those so called za dom Muslims were driving around In Bosnia waiving Turkish flags as If they won the fuckin Euros. Honestly I am embarrassed when Ante Pavelic called the Muslims in Bosnia the flower of the Croatian people. In my opinion , if your not Catholic or Christian Serbian Orthodox and you live in Bosna, you should leave and move back to your mother land which is Turkey. The Croatians and Serbs should split Bosnia between the both of us. That’s that. I don’t want to hear that Srna is a muslim, I’ve seen him cross himself plenty of times.
If Mandzukic isn’t Croatian then it has all been fake. Kind of like Ridge Forrester finding out he’s not really a Forrester but a Marrone.
@Adame……don’t you mean Mahir Mandžuka??????? Listen, it wouldn’t bother me if he was a mujo and had his name changed. I just find it funny.
TMZ…this site is getting funny…drama, Jerry Springer type conversations, a lot of the comments are pretty low class and aren’t really entertaining…I’d say seljacko but I love seljaci…they have values!
Slavonac
the only thing you need to read is this:
Alot of rumors get started on this site by someone, i wont mentoin names, but they are just rumors. Dont pay attention to the bs you find on this site.
am I reading this correctly? are people saying Mandzukic isn’t Croatian?
bravooooo Ivan. Nice assist.
Well Srna and Mandzukic could definitely teach guys like Modric and Rakitic how to look like they give a fuck when theyre playing.
I’d put the arm band on Mandzukic in a second if all that mattered was his attitude on the pitch.
Man, you watch a lot of TV. And spend an incredible amount of time on the internet.
Who cares about his hairline. if youre gunna post, make it relevant. give me some updates on rakitics play i cant watch the game.
@Elvis……money talks. That is why I no longer go to the Makarska region. Our “friends” from BiH invade the Neum and Makarska regions in the summer.
@No Heart for Country……the list of places banning machine gun Thompson is growing. But, I give him credit this year. He didn’t play himself to get stood up by Gotovina this summer in Cavoglave like he did last summer. For those of you who don’t know or remember. Machine gun Thompson invited Gotovina to Cavoglave last year. Instead Gotovina had lunch with Milanovic and no showed to Cavoglave.
@Stipe……depends on what part of BiH. Some areas had good relationships between Cro and Serbs, some had good relationships between Cro and muslims. Nothing is clear cut in that country.
Also….friends, I am watching the Barca friendly match with Club Leon. Is it me or is Rakitic hairline decreasing by the week. No wonder he grew the hair out to cover up theever decreasing hairline.
But then we allow these Cigani to our beaches in the summer.
@Kapula – yes we should take history into account and know the present.
Those same Muslim Ustase were great Muslim Partizani before the end of WWII. Just recently they burned a Cro flag in Mostar.
If they are so great, you should walk through Mostar with an U on your shirt and tell me how welcomed you feel. Heck go anywhere in BiH and tell me how you’re recieved.
For crying out loud, Ceca is allowed to hold a concert in Saravejo but Thompson banned.
Our Future star is one. Srna and now Super Mario? I am just saying that those who live the Za Dom lifestyle need to take into account our history.
@Kapula
Your saying Bosnian Croatians are Muslims of the Croatian faith? What are you crazy. I do not care that they supported Pavelic and the Ustasa. Just because Pavelic said that Muslims are the flower of the Croatian people? I do want too me associated with Muslims. Do you not remember the war in Bosnia between the us and the Muslims. There is this Serbian kid from Bosnia I work with, he even says that the Serbs and Croatians so not really get along in Bosnia, but he said that the Muslims ans Croatians HATE each other even more.
@Kapula………..I don’t care either way. If you want to believe they are hrvati and were converted, then go ahead. They were weak hrvati to begin with because there is no chance my faith would be converted to something else. Now, that is the “za dom…spremni” lifestyle. Plenty of good ones on our side, plenty of bads ones who went against us.
@Peter North……….yep. About as many questionable characters as those who watch organized afterschool backyard fight club; most with awful Affliction t-shirts.
People watch wrestling?
If you live the Za Dom lifestyle then muslims are ok are they not? They are Croats of the muslim faith.
6-0 That’s All !! Bog , Hrvati , i Hajduk !!!
for the organized afterschool backyard fight club fans……I see Brock Lesner has won the WWE title tonight. I guess this is even more proof that the WWE title is harder to win than the UFC version of organized afterschool backyard fight club. Didn’t Lesner with the UFC title in like two or three fights. It took him more fights than that to win the WWE title.
Is Lesnar the greatest athlete of this generation? And what is more impressive: being the WWE champ or champ of organized afterschool backyard fight club.
@Uskok…..nah, I wouldn’t go that far. Plenty of non pure hrvati was represented us: Balaban, Kozniku, Rapajic, Zuti, Miladin Prso, etc…
relax, it was a good joke.
I have no idea if it is true, don’t really care. It was a funny read.
Ugh.
One fake story written by some bosnjak fan site is all Ziva needs for confirmation that it’s true.
But if it’s Croats claiming someone to be Croat, then they are just homers and it’s all utter nonsense.
well if we have 2 muslims (halilovic and mandzuka) along with Serb Subasic we might as well call it the Jugoslav NT
@Lican……….imagine all the people with Mandzukic jerseys, errrrrr Mahir Mandzuka jerseys. They will be distraught.
I’m usually one to leave athletes alone when i see them in public, in fact I advocate for him, but I think the next time I run across him I will yell out “Mahir, kako si?”
ohh man, dont make be be a constant repeater also,Ziva, everyone knows, just admit it! Bobo the trained basement monkey does most of your repeat work while you are at school.Sheesh,a bit of transperancy please.
-Corlukas STDs=Bobo
-Bosandzero=Bobo
-Bjezigrad=Bobo
-Tap in Olic=Bobo
-Tap in Mandzukic=Bobo
The list goes on…….
What??? Super mario is musliman!!! Isus krista say it ain’t so
@Allen Outraged…..my posts may be repetitive. I apologize. But, they will never be as bad as some of your homemade videos.
@Mishko……that game that you think you were watching live was actually on tape delay. Serb Subasic let in 4 goals in the second half.
Also, friends………..Has anyone read the story that alleges Mandzukic’s parents changed their names when they left Bosna during the war. If the article is to be believed, Madza’s real name is Mahir Mandžuka. So, I guess he is the real Bosandzero.
So, add another name to the list of nick names. Mandza will now be known as Mahir Mandzuka.
hello
@ Ivica
10 meter burst is what separates levels in sport.
@ Svima
Šteta that quality players like Hrgota play for other nations.
I can understand if you are not on the level for the repka. But we can use that kid upfront.
We need to clean the savez up and integrate all the top Croatian talent across Europe.
Drmic playing for Swiss and the Swiss view him as German .. Pa da!
Cue the debate but in my book Croatian roots run deeper then a generation or two.
Diaspora and Hrvatska Hrvati need to be In. collaboration .
Unfortunately sve znaju u hrvatskoj.
Šteta.
Ziva’s material is really starting to get played out. Wow. It used to be a good chuckle, but man now it’s on a Carlos Mencia level of bad.
@dickhead. Monaco is up 1 – 0 and Falcao isn’t even playing, and the second half is just starting. You really need to stop with all your shit talking. Just because you didn’t make it in the MLS league doesn’t mean you have to shit on everything Croatian.
Bosandzero…….
Not a good start for Serb Subasic and his Monaco team to start the season. They have as many points after two rounds as STD Corluka has clean bills of health after visiting the doctor (that would be zero)
sweden, wtf, cause a name like branimir sounds like it should be in sweden… oh well… at least we have the bozanero or whatever ziva calls him
Sources say Hrgota is committed to play for Sweden.
Jelavic has a good one touch striking ability. He also has a pretty underrated shot too. However, he’s much too slow to ever be able to get that shot off soon enough as he takes a long time to ‘wind up’ for it. But he’s had success on the deadball when that wind up factor doesn’t matter. He’s also got a decent header too.
For everything else though, Jelavic is poor. He’s a poor passer, he’s too big and lumbering up and down the field, so he’s slow at everything. He seems like he would be a good technical player with some dribbling ability (if he was only fast enough to do it). But again, that slow speed kills it. Also, defensively, he’s too to trek back and is moreso useful when we play against teams like Malta where we completely dominate and crowd the box.
Jelavic was never a highly touted player. Hajduk let him go for nothing (although they’ve let a lot of players go for nothing), and he bounced around in Belgium and Austria a bit until he found some consistency at Rapid at age 25. He maxed out on the next 3-4 years at Rapid and Rangers. Got a good transfer and paycheque. I’m happy for him, but I’d only ever call him up as a fourth striker.
We should applaud someone like Jelavic. He was never a very skilled player and he has made the most of his career being able to secure a salary in the EPL. I don’t think anyone saw that when he came up with jadan, mali i nemocan hajduk. He is a player who will do very well in the smaller leagues, but he is not the guy at a big league. Playing for Hull is as about as good as he should expect.
Jelavic is horrible. Dude doesn’t do anything for club or country.
I have only seen highlights of Kramaric.
Has anyone watched any of his games.
Hrgota scored two goals today.
I agree with you regarding Kramaric vs. Jelavic. At this point Jelavic’s uncle is scoring more in the Zagreb mafia underworld than his nephew has or will in England.
Cop, I say no way. He is not good. I think we have watched his inability to score on euro competition for dinamo.
In HNL, Kramaric has yet another multi-goal game.
Dude has 9 goals in 5 games. If he keeps this up, he needs to be called up instead of Jelavic or Cop (who is doing pretty decent himself so far).
I wonder how many goals DA MAN DEJAN will score this week ????
