It was an extremely slow week for Croatians at club level, but one guy that has kept his foot on the pedal for the entire month of November, struck again. Andrej Kramarić converted a penalty Saturday for Hoffenheim in a 1-1 draw against Schalke. The goal means that Kramarić has now scored in seven straight games he has played in – for both club and country. The man is booming with confidence and it’s showing on the stat sheet. Between the goal he scored against England and the Champions League lob vs. Lyon, Krama is playing the best football of his life right now.
Marcelo Brozović was voted ‘Man of the Match’ Sunday in Inter Milan’s 2-2 draw against Roma. Inter lead twice in the match but couldn’t put last year’s Champions League semifinalists away. Brozović supplied an assist on Inter Milan’s second goal, a perfect corner kick in the 66th minute for Icardi to head home. Ivan Perišić played 81 minutes while Šime Vrsaljko remained on the bench.
Brozović Assist
MF Luka Modric, 8 — Last game before Modric receives the 2018 Ballon D’Or (probably). It was his best 70 minutes of the season, maybe helped by having younger legs alongside him.
We need to support Luka with young legs over the next two years.
