Ante Rebić scored the game winner in a 3-0 Eintracht Frankfurt victory over Hannover on Sunday. In the 54th minute of play, Rebić made a run down a crowded left flank in the box and found some sunlight to score. In the first half, Rebić could have easily scored on a break away but his attempt at ‘chipping’ the Hannover keeper did not go according to plan. He also had a wonderful ‘through ball’ in the first period which put his side in a prime position to score. All in all, Rebić is having a great season for Frankfurt, who currently sit 6th in Germany, which would be the last Europa League berth.
Rebić Goal (2:45)
Ivan Rakitić played the full 90 minutes in Barcelona’s 4-2 win over Sevilla on Saturday and assisted on the first of Lionel Messi’s three goals on the day. Midway through the first half, Raketa put a perfect ball to Messi in the box which the Argentine volleyed into the top-left corner of the net to make it 1-1. Rumors have it that Rakitić will leave Barcelona in the summer, but he obviously still has plenty left in the tank.
Rakitić assist to Messi (0:13)
Mateo Kovačić remained on the Chelsea bench as an unused substitute Sunday evening at Wembley in the EFL Cup Final vs. Manchester City. Although Kovačić didn’t see the pitch, he had the best seat in the house to watch Chelsea’s extra time drama unfold. With the match knotted at 0-0 minutes before a penalty kick session would begin, Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri wanted to sub off his starting keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga for a better penalty blocker in Willy Caballero. Kepa threw a temper tantrum and refused to leave the field. Karma rang as Manchester City would win the penalty shootout 4-3.
Sarri vs. Kepa
Ivan Perišić and Marcelo Brozović played the full match for Inter Milan in a 3-3 draw at Fiorentina. Perišić converted a penalty in the 52′ to make it 3-1 Inter, however, the Milan club would concede two more times, including an injury time penalty to gift Fiorentina a point. With he draw, Inter Milan are now only three points safe from a Champions League berth for next season. Marko Pjaca came on in the 58th minute for Fiorentina.
There has been a croatian flag in the stands at the New Orleans pelicans games. Anyone else notice this. I don’t see a current player on the roster who is cro…?
Kramaric goal for the Hoff, 22nd minute 1-0.
Eh tibor ,italy was incorporated a country march 17,1861.Ilyrians then kingdom of venice, and Austro-Hungarian hungary tried to lay claim but they don’t live in Dalmatia anymore. So,italy can never lay claim to land they never lived on.Its like a 1000 serbs who live in australia,canada,usa..as ratio bringing up the idea to parliament or congress ..hey I have a couple serbs living on your crown property,it’s mine, give me,give me.,like a grimy cigan.wont happen.
The seeds of the next Yugoslavia.

Yes is was what I was getting at.
@Razbijac
I’ve been as hard on him as anyone but he’s big time matured in the last few years. I rarely have anything negative to say when I watch him now.
He was awesome in the first half of the finals vs France. Really stood out. That whole tourney he controlled shit at times. The 2nd halves of Argentina and England come to mind.
Ante Rebić is finishing with class these days.
This along with his consistent beast mode physicality is unparalleled in our striker options.
I am curious to see all the moves Dalić makes this March?
Rakitic was big time with our historic World Cup run.
2018 was redemption for everyone.
Asked Turkey how things have turned since 2008?
Rakitic could be the most under rated nogometaš ever?
Deshamps dripping Kante after he was eclipsed by our midfield was the move of the final .. that and the 12th man ref for France.
The question now is….with Rakitic’s exceptional performances this summer, helping guide Croatia to the Finals. Has he atoned for his mistakes against Turkey in Euro 08 and Spain in Euro 12???
My Xbox says cro has 76.3 chance of qualifying for euros!
Seriously rakitic has cost us over the years a couple times but he also nailed two huge pks this summer we all know
Veteran rakitic wouldn’t have prob made those mistakes but such is life
All you Monday morning QB’s knowing exactly what to do after the games been played.
How about doing something original and making some predictions BEFORE a big game.
If i was Rakitic in the Euro 2008 campaign vs Turkey i woulda held on to the ball to kill the clock instead of trying to play Petric
(offside which lead to Turkeys long free kick and goal)
what I meant was -> Bilic. 1
When Dalic was in Reign of Croatia 2008 euro campaign vs Turkey, He didn’t sub off Pletikosa who looked off after conceded a last minute Turkey’s goal. If I were the coach, I just sub him off and let Runje under the pipe for shoot out (He looked confident in the bench amongst Croatian players back then)
I’m gay!! xD
Hold my beer
You guys are all scrubs
I’m at Bein Sports xD
Lolz xD
Oh wait lolz I work in the UAE. Whatever its all sandmonkey over here anyway
Hey I’m still alive in Saudi Arabia! Lolz Slaven you suck!
Hey Slaven! I beat you today! It’s pretty lolz that I got you sacked! Lolz
I just got sacked today!! After only 5 months in Saudi Arabia lolzzz I’m such a boss coach!
@neposnat I would think being at fault for 1 goal would be semi exposed but I’m shocked bayer had 67% possession, and only lost 3-2
When is lovren do bAck ?
Did anyone notice Matip has almost scored 2 own goals in his last 2 starts …against Bayern he got extremely lucky his shank hit his keeper and today his own goal was saved by an offside.
Imagine the hate lovren would have received on these blunders but nothing has been said of matip.
Kepa is screwed…that can’t happen from a pro
Send Kepa to the Chelsea reserves
@Medo Tin was at fault for one of Dortmunds goals, and Bayer lost by 1 goal 🙁
This is insane, Chelsea GK Kepa refuses to be subbed out for Willy Caballero by Izbornik Sarri with minutes to go before penalty shoot out in some English Cup Final… Chelsea goes on to lose 3-4 in said spot kicks
https://twitter.com/EdenDassidy/status/1099749128068829184
Tin man finally getting a start today vs. BVB…I have a feeling he’s getting exposed defensively today, and see Bayer getting thrashed today.
Rebic with a nice goal today ..he has some nice chemistry with the 2 Serbs, kostic and Jovic.
@Maminjo
Why do you disregard Lika Joey by asking “who really knows” what Tesla was?
Look, at the end of the day I decide what Tesla was, and he was a Serb, so Lika Joey is correct, and you said yourself that you don’t know what Tesla was so why even bother writing your comment?
In future, stick to football comments ok.
Anyway, Tesla’s father was an “orthodox” priest, so was his grandfather on his mothers side.
Cleary young Tesla grew up in your typical schismatic Serbian family, just like many of you guys have grown up in your “Croatian” families whilst being born in foreign lands.
What sort of “Croat” would even want to claim Tesla as a Croat, not one that believes in the unity of the Croatian people in the Spirit that’s given us from God? (1 Corinthians 2:12)
In Christian Mate Pulisic’s favourite song “Hercegovac za Hrvatsku dise,” there’s lyrics that say “Hrvatski su geni mi u krvi,” did Tesla have these genes in his blood?
Let’s not forget that you Yugoslav bastards have said that my mate Mate isn’t Croatian even though he has Croatian genes, but youse are happy to claim schismatic Serb Tesla as a Croat, you’re fucking kidding aren’t ya?
@ Maminjo
The inventive spirit is ALL Croatian.
Tesla was born and raised with this spirit in Croatia.
Ask the pravoslavni that walked back to eastern Serbia how life is going since getting hit by Oluja.
Who really knows what Tesla is.
Serbs won’t release his diary for some strange reason, and he has a weird telegram where he mentions his Croatian nationality (despite Croatia not being independent from Austro-Hungary at the time). I think he’s now buried in Serbia, despite never setting foot there in his lifetime.
Now you’ve got Hungarians and Romanians claiming that he’s one of theirs, lol. None of this matters as he never really cared for patriotism.
Croatia is carrying his legacy best anyway with our inventive minds, from Doking to Rimac to Steora… That Tesla spirit lives on in Cro (where he was born) and not Serbia (where they invent nothing).
Either way, he’s American and his inventions wouldn’t have come to life if he didn’t leave that region.
Did rog look lost or did he look like he can belong?
Commentator suggested Rog (which, don’t quote me, he pronounced something like Rok and also Roch) would be Croatia’s next Rakitic.
F.W.I.W.
Laknat Tesla is a serb!
Halilovic should be going to Sevilla instead of Rogy!
Rog couldn’t do much…Barca had a crazy second half…Rakitić had the assist to Messi’s excellent goal
Rog starting for Sevilla.
You Guys are amateur…
mention some of the bums like Modric Petrovic Ivanisevic,
but no one mentions the greatest Croatian of All Time
-Frane Selak
-Nikola Tesla
