It was one of the slowest weekends for Croatians in club play during the entire season. Ivan Perišić got the start for Inter Milan and played 70 minutes in a 3-1 Inter Milan win over Frosinone on Sunday. Perišić stepped up to the penalty spot for Inter in the 37th minute and cooly converted the spot kick to make it 2-0. Inter are now comfortably siting in third place in Serie A with only six matches remaining in the season and should lock up a spot for a Champions League berth in the next few weeks.
Ante Rebić had a subpar match for Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday as his side lost to Augsburg 3-1. With the loss, Frankfurt now only sit one point ahead of Borussia Monchengladbach for Germany’s final Champions League berth for next season.
Andrej Kramarić played the full 90 minutes for Hoffenheim as they defeated Hertha Berlin 2-0. He’s cooled down a bit in the past few weekends but Hoffenheim has been winning nonetheless and are now sitting in 6th place which is good enough for a Europa League berth.

Where were you when Soul Champ was calling France “west Africa united” ya little twerp?
There is a horse running at Santa Anita on Friday named ANONYMOUSLY. She has a better chance of winning than ANONYMOUS has of ever being right. At least she is not a racist.
To the 3rd anonymous what are talking about brother?
^
Shut up half-blood.
@Anonymous stop talking to yourself.
@Anonymous’s that said this,
“The Muslims are winning”
“muzzies still have the faith and we don’t anymore I’m afraid.”
Speak for yourself you muppets, I believe Mohammed was a false prophet and anyone that believes in him is a fool.
Anyway, you half-bloods/new Croats gotta understand that all you should be doing is writing sport comments and nothing more. So please, shut the fuck up and leave the serious comments to the full-blooded Croats in future, if they see fit to write any of course.
You really gotta change the motto of this site to, “uniting Croatian half-bloods around the world” so when foreigners come here they understand that there is not many prototypical Croats to be found here.
Its hard to feel sorry for the French though when they have brought it upon themselves. At least they won the WC with their philosophy however so much about their society though.
The difference is that muzzies still have the faith and we don’t anymore I’m afraid.
The Notre Dome burns today! This is symbolic of White Christianity in Western Europe. The Muslims are winning
Remember when Dalic played the starters vs the “up and comers” in a scrimmage. The starters won 7-0. Imagine what they would do to Halilovic, Vlasic, Brekalo, Coric, and Kovacic…maybe 14-0.
Some still believe in Little Halilović.
His long list of former teams and teammates don’t seem to agree.
new formation 4150
no striker. total freedom of movement for the 5 the drop, they go through the lines, the go into the channel the wing, total freedom to interchange position and find space. the back four remain solid and keep shape with brozovic the link man in front. the front 5 just link up and create crazy patterns. for this reason the game needs to be slowed down. front 5 = halilovic, vlasic, brekalo, coric and kovacic
total freedom. no instructions. just create
I reckon Halilovic should try the Turkish league, he’d fit right in.
Maminjo can’t seem to find it
Tried even on Belgium sites
Was disallowed from VAR
The game was postponed I guess from fan trouble anyways
I saw the goal on fb
Don’t think it will let me share it
Perišić takes PK with left foot!
These dude has so much talent.
Forgive me .. but how does that much talent not have a better club career?
I pray he can have a final club career chapter where he plays well away from Inter.
He can have 4 more years at the highest level.
He is an elite footballing athlete.
Arsenal and Tottenham both have elite coaches that could bring out the best in him.
This is his final move .. make a good choice!
For the deeply inquisitive:
1)Perisic takes the PK with his left foot.
2)Why he didn’t take one for us is beyond me…and, yes, that is also a slight against Dalic’s subbing decisions.
Who has a link to this goal by Halilović?
So the halilovic goal didn’t stand?
Too bad
Still man that was serious skill
He does have that potential game changing ability
Look how many goals we score outside the box these days
Guys we are doing just fine
We will be ok!
Let’s qualify and not expect the world and we never know
Modric the vets are gonna play lights out if they make euro
Perisic takes the PK …. gol …
hahahah crnkovic youre so funny! lol! omg! ahah thanks for the input! you get a like!! ahah yea! so funny!
I have an idea, why don’t we play with two goalies.
One can play higher up. It could solve our goal tending
Problems.
Quick thought on Kramaric: His actions, his sense of urgency in scoring goals, in my opinion were more deeply entrenched with what happened at Leicester. I think that experience has partly formed his soccer personality. Food for discussion.
Pep = Peder
Anyone with a set of balls makes him cringe.
Halilovic should be on the National team everyday and twice on Sunday.
He is a natural attack winger with a sweet left foot.
He is one you take care of despite club struggles.
seriously. if a player with the that talent cant dominate the belgian league i dont know whats wrong
no offside. goal is good
WOW. now THAT is what i call a goal. Sweet holy crap. The GOD of halilovic
Ah I found it…he was barely offside so the goal did not count. What a shot though.
@anon that’s what I thought too
Mandzukic could have easily surpassed 20 goals at Munich but that rat punk Guardiola benched him several games. He could have won the scoring title in the BL.
Halilovic didnt score today and the game was abandoned
Our God Halilovic needs to be on the pitch for NT instead of Brekalo… Stupid Dalic will continue his stupidity and will cost us 24 corrupt system of Euro 2020 participation.
you can see Halilovic goal:
– Standard Liege vs Anderlecht –
just type it on YouTube…
@CroatiaU14
Was gonna say the same thing..
Eduardo’s touch and instincts in the box were awesome at times.
If Kramaric can carry our goal scoring needs through the next couple of tournaments Id probably say so too.
@dannyj I can’t find a video for Halilović’s bomb goal…can you send a link please?
but but MaNdZuKiC iS dA bEsT sTriKeR eVeR
Kramaric is as underrated for the national team as Mandzukic is overrated.
I have been saying he needs to be our starting number 9 for the last 4 years now.
Hard to complain about the World cup, but Dalic made a BIG mistake starting Mandzo over Kramaric.
The guy is dangerous every time he has the ball in the final third. Best striker we have had since Suker! Start playing him up top and watch the goals he is going to start scoring.
La Liga news for saturday 4/13/2019
Rakitic rested, fukboi Kalinic on the bench, Rog gets 16 minutes instead of his usual 15
Bundesliga news for saturday 4/13/2019.
brekalo, jedvaj, sosa on the bench
@razbijac. Are you sure about olmo? Did fifa change the rule I forget the guideline number that if a player has lived in a country for 5 years which he has and has not been capped by the senior squad in this case Spain? I have to research that fifa rulebook again.
Too bad about olmo
But seriously did anyone see the bomb halilovic scored
He made it look like it came from nothing
And Suker totally ripped that from fat Ronaldo’s R9 Nike line. Suker was smooth as silk and had a real #9’s presence. Kramaric plays like a spazzy goal grubbing kid. He’s still a very serviceable player and the best we’ve got up top. Be funny to see Harry Kane and Kramaric in a 442. They’d probably kill each other over goals.
I’ve never heard of the rule. Interesting to know.
“The K9 Academy” LOL
Olmo already played for the Spain U21s (at a time when he didn’t have Croatian citizenship).
With the new rule change, that makes him ineligible to play for Croatia. He’s tied to Spain–even if he gets Croatian citizenship.
https://www.dnevnik.ba/dogadaji/dinamov-dragulj-definitivno-nece-nastupati-za-hrvatsku
Cap Olmo Asap!!
@maminjo hahaha
Dani Olmo scored a banger today…do you guys want him to gain citizenship?
Krama just needs to start up a soccer academy called K9 and he’s good
I’ve compared Kramaric to Suker when I defended his ass on this site 2 years ago. That said, he is a mini-Suker with a nose for goal. Suker was sooo much better.
The truth-stupid us, we thought Rebic scored in our last NT game. Thanks for correcting us.
I get confused on people who trash kramaric performance for the nt…. Am i mistaken or is he the only one that’s scored for us lately except our left backs
Add to that, that its not exactly tap in goals he’s putting in here
If Kramaric hits 20 goals…..he’s entered the “Realm of Suker.” You could then make the case that Krama is ONE OF the greatest Croatian strikers.
This is prolly one of those things he dreams about…
As far as his next move goes, I think Krama should just stay where he is. In the words of my Dida (a wise man to boot): “Boje biti prvi u selu, nego zadnji u gradu.”
Which translates roughly to the english saying: Better to be a big fish in a small pond, then a small fish in a big pond.
Krama seems to have settled in at HOFF, and scoring goals regularly. Where his teammates kinda put up with him. I don’t know if his ego can handle playing second fiddle at a major club.
I wonder what Belfodil will think of Kramaric achievement maybe thinking that half of it should of been his
seriously what would be the next move for krama when he leaves hoffenheim either go to a bigger club in Germany or try another league because I feel unsure about whether he can step it up big time which would be needed for the Vatreni
Halilovic with the start and a bomb of a goal
Let’s hope Laknat has been praying to the god of halilovic extra these days
Not if his team mates have anything to do with it!
Will Kramaric become the first Croatian player in 20 years, to score 20 goals in a season in a Top Five League?????
(He’s got 15, and Hoff has got 6 more games to play.)
will Rakitic play side way pedestrian style football just to wait on Messi to win the title for Barca and will Mandzukic play another master class at Juve to make all Croatian fans feel sick that he left the international scene
will Perisic deliberately underperform at Inter to get traded to a different club
I got another one will kovacic get a start and if he does will he get subbed out in the 62nd minute when Chelsea are 2 nil down at no fault of his own
Will Kramaric score another goal and no one goes up to him to celebrate
Yeah of course I love keeping up with the guys.
@dannyj I don’t know much about Žiger (the goalie for Chelsea’s youth) I think he’s pretty good though
Wow !!! Thanks a bunch CroatiaU14. That was a pretty comprehensive update on our young players. There is a lot of potential. I just hope they all get playing time. That’s the most important thing for young guys.
Thanks U14
Let’s hope a couple of those guys can pan out
What bout that youth goalie at Chelsea?
The kid from Zagreb
Does he have the goods?
Youth Update:
Majer and Moro have been playing great in the last number of games. Marin has been a star for the Dinamo Youth teams and has been extremely consistent. The future of our front three looks very good. We have Marin, Kulenovic, and Cuze, and other options such as Sego (who looks really good) and Baturina. Let’s not forget about Luka Ivanusec playing for Lokomotiva Zagreb. The 20 year old midfielder has been the star this season for Lokomotiva. Him, Palaversa, Moro and Majer are all in great form right now and are being heavily scouted, especially Moro and Ivanusec. Vlasic, as long as he keeps up his excellent form, will most likely go back to Everton or maybe another top European club over the summer. Benkovic has just returned for Celtic (On loan from Leicester City) after a knee injury sidelined him for a couple of months. He’s tall, strong, fast, and can win headers in both boxes. He could be a very strong center back for us in the future. Caleta Car has been starting for a struggling Marseille side, but at least he is getting time on the field. I thought he looked pretty good for us on his last appearance. Nikola Katic and Borna Barisic (injured) are both playing lots of minutes for Rangers. Barisic looked decent in the few minutes he played versus Hungary before hurting his leg. Brekalo is an excellent dribbler. The ball is practically glued to his foot, and if it was my choice, I would start him in our next Euro Qualifier. Dinko Horkas (20 years old, playing for Dinamo Youth teams) has made some excellent saves in the past two to three months. He won two shootouts for Dinamo in the Youth Champions league, and made a couple of clutch saves vs the Hajduk Second team.
Coric and Halilovic need to find a right club. I am really hoping they can become excellent players. Mitrovic (I am pretty sure) is still injured. Vida is playing great in the Turkish League and may move to Roma in the Summer.
https://br.onefootball.com/krovinovic-pede-para-jogar-pela-equipa-b-encarnada/
Perhaps Krovinovic read my comment the other day, lol just kidding. But I’m happy he asked to play for the B team. He needs to just get back to playing often and hopefully he can get back to being the player he was before the injury.
is posavec better than livakovic?
-will antonio marin get minutes for dinamo?
-what will the weekend bring for the progress of youngsters moro, majer, peric, sunjic and olmo at Dinamo?
-will bruno petkovic build on his form and become a big player for us?
will rog crack the sevilla first team?
will brozovic continue to grow in stature pulling the strings for inter?
will the god of halilovic ever find a team where he can mature and become a top player?
will vlasic continue to become a top player at CSKA and get himself sorted for next season…
brekalo is struggling for minutes at wolfsburg due to a change of formation by the coach
where does vida play these days? what of mitrovic? how is benkovic doing at celtic?
also..are there only 4 croatians playing in europe these days? quite depressing
Ante you’re losing your touch buddy
since when does ante rebic play for hoffenheim? wake up ante
