When will Andrej Kramarić stop scoring for Hoffenheim? No this weekend! Krama scored the opening goal in Hoffenheim’s 2-1 loss to Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday. He should have bagged another one but nearly missed on multiple occasions.
Kramarić sent a wonderful left-footed curler into the upper-V of the goal after fantastic composure in the box. Hoffenheim’s all-time leading scorer has now scored six goals in the first three matches of the season. However, Croatians around the world are looking for him to do the same in the red and white checkers.
Kramarić Goal
Josip Brekalo got the start for Wolfsburg on Sunday and appeared to have scored the game’s only goal in the 29th minute; which was an absolute beauty. However, it was called back by VAR for being offside on the initial pass. It was the correct call and the match ended up in a scoreless draw. Brekalo is finally breaking out of his shell in the Bundesliga with moves like these. He just needs to remain consistent on a weekly basis – and if he does – we will crown him the Croatian Arjen Robben.
Brekalo Goal Disallowed Due To VAR Offside
Serie A’s ‘little engine that could’, Atalanta, is flying under the radar once again to the start the young season. Last year’s Champions League quarterfinalists defeated Cagliari 5-2 on Sunday to stay perfect in their first threeSerie A games. Mario Pašalić scored and assisted in the effort and has finally found a home in Italy. Will he be able to replicate any of this during the international break this week? It’s time.
Pašalić Goal
For the first time since 2014, Ivan Rakitić played against Barcelona. The Sevilla captain got the start and played 78 minutes in the Nou Camp against his former club in a 1-1 draw. It’s a fantastic result as both clubs sit on seven points from three matches.

@Andrej L Balic is doing well with a young croatian striker Marko Divkovic.
@Andrej
Yea, but the Slovak league is worse than the HNL.
Hopefully he continues to tear it up and they sell him to a better league. He’s already 23 and can’t spend a couple of years hanging out in a league that’s outside the top-30 in Europe. At least he seems to be the best player on the best team in the league, so it’s a positive sign…but he can’t spend more than a year there. He’s gotta make up for lost time.
Re: Alois Oroz…
If he is a good CB, then it’s just another example of the HNS being on the ball with getting the best diaspora players.
Mamic with the ultimate revenge (and traitorous) move.
Goes to Srbija and creates the same development system at FK TSC Bačka Topola as he did at Dinamo.
Man. That’s a complete lose lose for everybody. Both for Mamic and his detractors.
Just found this guy’s twitter;
https://twitter.com/CRO_Scout
Apparently Andrija Balic has 5 goals and an assist so far this season.
Also Alois Oroz is supposedly a good CB.
Halilovic knows his next move is his last chance to score a decent contract. He mutually agreed to terminate the contract. I wish him well.
Think Barcelona forced Rakitic to take a 5.5million euro pay cut.
If I were Rakitic, I’d have pulled a Khedeira and make the big clubs honor their contract. Rakitic could have been richer, rested, and focused on his international role.
Dalic sounds confused in his interviews. Has no idea what to do, or whom to blame.
Without Rebic and Mandzukic, Dalic needs to innovate. Nothing we did at WC 18 is possible without them. Pressure is on.
Dalic calling out Petko, a guy who scored in his minimal minutes, was comical. Very lame.
Some saying Vlasic should sit. What a bunch of hacks.
This is Dalic’s chance to employ Brekalo in a role that suits him, rather than just plugging him in to replace Perisic or Rebic.
Mamic is taking the money stole from Croatia and is taking it to Serbia to take over a small club.
What a piece of shit.
Mamic rules!
Yikes.
Milan terminates Halilovic’s contract.
They really couldn’t find someone to take his agreement in a transfer?
Yikes.
Dinamo are the kings of cashing out early on their duds (like Halilovic and Coric)…yet they hold their higher end talent a bit longer and cash out.
Which makes me a bit nervous as to why they would sell off a guy like Antonio Marin for cheap.
The contrast of Modrić and Halilovic is stark.
Halilovic looked good a couple years back in la liga before he hurt his ankle.
Now he is free to sign someplace where he can have a chance to play.

Oh damn.
Vrsaljko was injured during an Atletico training session, so he’s out for sure.
I just watched a Dalic interview on 24sata, and he confirmed it.
Mind you, he was responding to a question about the Switzerland friendly this Wednesday, but I assume he meant that Vrsaljko is out for next week’s round of Nations League games as well.
Well, Uremovic started last game, so he’ll probably start this game at RB if Vrsaljko isn’t good to go.
I think it’s safe to say that Dalic has probably had enough of Jedvaj’s mistakes there (or else he would not have called up Uremovic and started him there). I don’t think we see Jedvaj starting for us again (unless there is a series of injuries).
Vida seems to be out of form, and he didn’t start last game for us either. I’m not sure he will start at CB, let alone at RB.
I agree that Dalic will probably play it safe and stick to his World Cup formation.
However, he did call up Domagoj Bradaric, so I’m hoping he starts him at LB instead of Barisic. Either way, I think Bradaric will get minutes (either the start, or as a sub).
Dalic, for sure, will start Lovren and Caleta-Car at CB.
He probably goes with this back four:
Vrsaljko* – Lovren – CaletaCar – Bradaric
*Uremovic takes the RB spot if Vrsaljko can’t play
Just remembered Orsic got the call up after Rebic got injured. I still say Uremovic at RB over all the people mentioned.
Kramaric needs to step up for us this week for nations league. With Rebic out, we need some scoring. Euro playoffs start this week too. All games are on Thursday which to me is wrong. Should of spread them out and done two on Thursday and two on Friday. I’m assuming everyone will be watching Serbia play Norway. I got Norway winning 2-0.
No Vrsaljko again for the October matches. I still think I prefer Uremovic at RB over Jedvaj and Vida.
Our only option other than these guys would be either a LB there or Brekalo/Perisic and with Rebic injured we only have those two, Kramaric, and Vlasic who can comfortably play on the wing.
@BZ
I guess you’re right about this kid Pobi…but it looks like Milan is signing him to be a part of their Primavera team.
https://sempremilan.com/sportitalia-milan-wrap-up-signing-of-young-right-back-from-dinamo-zagreb
Hopefully this doesn’t happen.
Not sure what the deal is with Dinamo trying to sell off their youth now.
Maybe the Mamic’s are cashing out, and are all taking off to Medugorje.
😉
Babic is a big fan favorite.
But his physical limitations will keep him from having a high ceiling like Hrgovic.
We also have some other boxer (Petar Milas) who is climbing as well.
Either way, we have three very solid boxers and apparently more youngsters are coming up.
LMAO watched the Babic video where him and the guy from Chicago were talking smack.
Babic calls him slow 5 times then spells it out slow S L A O lol
Filip Pobi better not be our next good RB, too long to wait.
Babic talking shit to Hrgovic is bullshit. Why shit on a fellow Croat, when he can attack somebody (anybody) else.
Still hoping Stipe ducks Ngannou for a year. Let Francis fight Jones or somebody else. Rest up Stipe. Steroids Ngannou is a fucking joke mockery of athletics. He can suck Adensanya’s inflated left breast. Too bad USADA is too much in UFC’s pocket to get guys like Ngannou and Lesnar banned from MMA.
The guy is a hoot I’ll give him that.
He’s got balls too calling out Hrgovic
From doorman to boxer quite a story.
What’s his story? When did he start boxing?
I was you tubing Croatian boxers …a guy Alen Babic cane up 29 yrs old started late but he’s 3-0…this cat is hilarious you need to watch the pre match press conference with Shawndell Winters then what he does to the thug from Chicago in the ring.
This dudes interviews on YouTube are well worth watching Trust me!
Guided By Voices! 🙂

In case anyone’s looking.
This might be the deepest Ive ever seen an inventory of ours.
Good site too. Used them a few times.
Luka Modric (CM) – 8/10 – Superb. At 35 years old, Modric is showing that you needn’t be a spring chicken to pull the strings. He was superb throughout, had Levante chasing shadows.
Rakitic carries Sevilla to another great performance at Barcelona. Rakitic retired waaay to early.
Sevilla should have let Rakitic finish the game, once he was taken off, Sevilla lost their composure and almost blew the tie.
Missed the first half, but apparently Rakitic was stellar.
Mandzukic and Rakitic earned a failure at a major tournament before fans started calling for their retirement and replacements.
But such is life in the social media era, the fickle start clamoring at every whim that crosses their mind. This weakness is a trait synonymous with fragile Democrats, which is the polar opposite of steadfast, stoic, clear-minded, strong Catholic Croatians, like all of us. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday Croatiansports nation, enjoy life as men and women who aren’t offended by every little comment you hear.
Dalic nickname should be srečković. I know im not a football manager but im a die hard fan and have a right to opinion. We are small country and need the best players and put them in right position.
Right Back we dont have one after Vrsaljko. Need to scout tryed Bartolec he doesnt even play for club. Whats up with Karacic from lokomotiva i know its lokomotiva but hes a right back. Juranovic i know he kiksed for hajduk but hes a left back. Maybe trt uremovic again even if hes a cb because vida jedvaj are not the answer. Cbs lovren plays for club but Vida looks bad so imo trenutno lovren caleta car pograncic plah for club and should be lovrens partner.
Toma Basic deserves a call up hes in second or third season i french league and hes a dm and plays pretty well same goes krovinovic whould be goven a look and bistrovic from cska.
Attack Pjaca should find his way back in the wc qualifiers Rebic perisic brekalo and orisic playing well for dinamo again. Petkovic playing again nice to see
I dont expect croatia in finals but comete and play well again.
Kramaric i know people bash his d and selfishness. But croatia need him.
Bloody Scouse And by the score they seem to be playing like us are you Croatia in disguise
Watching the Liverpool match and I can’t believe they copied our new black jersey
Brekalo scores, but VAR rules it offside.
Oh well.
Good to see that Breki is in good form. It would’ve been a game winner.
Write off Jedvaj he’s not a warrior …cares more about his tats and hair then his defensive positioning.Pasalic scores today …Barca Sevilla…
Rakitić’s chance for a comeuppance, hope he sticks it to Barca with an extra time winner.
Inter throw away another season early in the season with a draw. Conte the genius had Brozovic on the bench. Then he subs out Perisic.
Bring Allegri to Inter. Conte is not too clever.
Similar to the other national team managers, Dalic will not take any risks and use the opportunity to test things out during the Nation League games. For the Sweden game, I see him setting up this formation;
————– Livakovic
Vida – Lovren – Caleta-Car – Bradaric/Barisic
—–Modric – Brozo
Perisic – Vlasic – Brekalo
—— Krama
Grbic, Vrsaljko, and Jedvaj aren’t getting any playing time so pretty much zero chance any of them play.
Petkovic barely plays as well.
Sutalo came off the bench and played LCB today.
BTW Perisic has been doing really well as LWB/LM in the first half today.
“Dalic is the million dollar man with a part time job. He’s gotta put some full time hours .. and figure this out (instead of concocting another idiotic experiment in positions on the field where we are already set).”
Tooooooooooooooooooo ..
@ Maminjo
Dalic has got to step up these next three matches.
It’s like a Euro ‘21 group stage audition.
We showed again in the first half vs France that we have quality to compete.
Kramaric is the best finisher we have.
He is not an elite athlete or a physical presence.
But he is hungry to put that ball in the back of net.
That skill needs to be maximized.
Dalic needs to step up!
Small correction: Lazio-Inter Sunday, not Saturday.
Now Playing: Guided By Voices: Please By Honest.
LOL JEBOTE !
I’m going to butcher whites and jews who whored white women to non whites.
@Pro white guy
So if Croats studied the “Homeland war” they would find that the dumping of the Catholic Croats into an atheistic communist Yugoslavia was a mistake made by the incompetent politicians at the end of wwii?
Very good points about us having guys who will shoot from distance or if they have a decent look on goal.
How is Brekalo regarding shooting vs overpassing?
I feel like the young kids coming up also take on players more than we’re used to seeing in the past wjth our NT.
Fuck that racist Landis, he has no place in modern America.
Who cares about skin color, it’s about being kinfolk, like BLM say.
BLM is the way for America!
@BZ
Yea, I don’t think I’ve ever seen Vlasic overpass that ball when in the box. He goes for goal, and none of his failed attempts ever turn out to be a counterattacking opportunity for his opponents.
We actually have Vlasic, Kramaric and Bruno who have a good eye for goal.
We used to have any over-passing problem several years ago with guys like Modric, Rakitic, Kovacic, Badelj, etc trying to pass too much and never throw it at goal.
Modric got over that and regularly strikes now (and it’s why he’s gotten better after 30). Kovacic got worse. But our remaining midfielders and forwards in Brozovic, Perisic, Bruno, Krama and Vlasic are not shy at all.
@Andrej
Re: Kovacic…
I’m losing confidence every day in him. I don’t expect anything to come from him when it comes to providing anything in the opponent’s third.
The worst part is, I am starting to see that he provides very little when it comes to real defending and cannot play well in his own third (when he is deployed in the pivot).
It seems like he’s just good in a formation where he’s not really expected to attack too much or defend too much. I dunno. Master of none is exactly right.
@Andrej
Yea Kramaric regularly plays with a strike partner, which is why I mentioned before that maybe we should try him up there with Bruno or (his best bud) Perisic.
Again, we have to watch these Hoffenheim games more closely to see what kind of strike partner he players with and what that person’s role is that allows for Krama to thrive in that formation.
I don’t watch them, and like the rest of us, mostly just catch Hoffenheim highlights.
Dalic is the million dollar man with a part time job. He’s gotta put some full time hours watching full Hoffenheim games and figure this out (instead of concocting another idiotic experiment in positions on the field where we are already set).
Notice how the same people who claim to be “global citizens” and talk about “uniting mankind” and abhor nationalism suddenly become all rah rah America when a hyphenated-American plays against a White European?
*my bad, forgot Rog was already on the list. Maybe there’s hope for the legend Lovric
Anyone watch the Hoffenhiem game? Saw that they played more of a 3-1-4-2 with Krama pairing up with Dabbur as CFs.
I have faith in Kova finding his place at Chelsea; if only he could find some confidence in the final 3rd of the field.
Sosa started at LWB today. Jedvaj and Vrsaljko didn’t even make the bench.
Gorica also beat Hajduk. Really curious to see if Catkas or Rog replace Badelj for the next 3 games.
The cowardly moron baseball media took Landis’ name off of the MVP trophy because God forbid he didn’t have the insane Politically Correct beliefs we are required to have today back in the 1930’s. Back then, if he had the same antiWhite Politically Correct beliefs we are required to have today EVERYONE would have thought he was a retard back then; and rightly so.
Real history is the study of someone else’s present. Not a judgement based on the current insane established religion of white self hatred and self sacrifice.
Agree, Vlasic is great at getting that quick accurate shot off.
Low corner shots come very natural to him. Huge plus.
Goalies might save, but often deflect out of bounds for a corner.
I agree, those aspects of the game are very underrated.
@Maminjo-Just to add…Coaching 101 says blast a shot into a well positioned defenders legs rather than attempt a mid-percentage pass to the top center of the box. Blast it, to prevent the counter. Vlasic is so good, he usually can get the shot off, so we get the best of both worlds.
@Maminjo-nah, I don’t think Kramaric can win the scoring title. I’d give you 3:1 odds. 5 Croatiansports dignity points (I only have 5 left, otherwise I’d bet more.)
Staying healthy has been Kramaric’s primary adversary.
Does anyone think Krama could win the Bundesliga scoring title above Haaland and Lewandowski?
🙂
On another note…
It looks like Lampard is still sticking with the 4-2-3-1 formation that Kovacic did poorly in last week against West Brom.
Lampard benched Kovacic today, and played the formation again, and Chelsea won 4-0.
They dropped a ton of cash on Kai Havertz, so they’re probably gonna wanna keep playing with the additional attacker.
Kovacic is gonna have to prove that he can pair up with Kante or Jorginho in the pivot and learn to play proper defense (and attempt a tackle from time to time).
This is good for us, as we favor this formation too.
Kovacic now has to learn how to play it at club level or he will be on the bench for both club and country.
Yea, Vlašić is very cool under pressure.
Unlike most players who find themselves in a scoring position… he doesn’t blow his load immediately and simply fire a shot (which in most cases would get blocked by a defender or be too close to the keeper).
Vlašić always takes a very quick moment to glance where the keeper and defender are going, and makes sure he shoots it in the direction where it will most likely end up on target and away from the keeper.
Even if the shot is more difficult to take, and it takes away from the momentum in which way he is running, he doesn’t care.
He would rather take a weak shot that will be on target, than a hard shot that will likely be blocked or shot too close to the keeper. His goal against Wales was a good example of this.
He’s got such great fundamentals, and it’s difficult to teach stuff like that.
what i really like about Vlasic is that when he shoots cause it seems like he has a hockey mentality. Meaning he can think very quickly that if he doesn’t have a good chance of precisely putting it in a specific spot, he just makes sure he puts it on net, maybe get a rebound, or intentionally create a rebound. Rather than just rip it wide or into the upper deck
She was a beauty too
Damn Krama is on fire !!
