It was an extremely quiet weekend for Croatians playing for their clubs across Europe. But one thing that has remained status quo is Ante Rebić scoring goals for Eintracht Frankfurt. On Friday, Frankfurt defeated Stuttgart 3-0 with their Croatian striker heading home in the 32nd minute to make it 2-0. He was in the right place at the right time, but nonetheless, he found the back of the net. If Croatia is going to give Spain and England trouble later this month, Rebić has to be on.
Rebić Goal 1:18
Ivan Perišić and Marcelo Brozović got the start for Inter Milan in a 5-0 victory over Genoa as Šime Vrsaljko looked on from the bench. No Croatian got on the scoresheet but the win puts Inter Milan in second place on goal differential; six points behind leaders Juventus.
Luka Modrić played the full match for Real Madrid in a 2-0 win over Real Valladolid while Ivan Rakitić also played the full 90 for Barcelona in 3-2 come-from-behind victory against Rayo Vallecano. Goals from Dembele and Suarez in the past five minutes of the match earned Barca all three points. Real Madrid remain seven points behind leaders Barcelona through the first 11 games of the season.

You’re right anon i was getting confused for that
Bradaric has a cute wife.
Well, Bradaric is doing great, actually. Just scored a sweet goal yesterday…. into his own net !
Bradaric is at Cagliari, you’re getting confused with your rossoblu’s.
Perica is in Seri A TIM at Frosinone.
overall i’d say we are on schedule. Rebic is the perfect example. struggled with injuries and form and playing time, eventually broke through at frankfurt and is now universally recognized as total beast. coric and halilovic are the biggest talents we have but also the flakiest mentalities. at the moment i’d say vlasic, brekalo and rebic have broken through and kovacic of course, of the next generation and pasalic. still waiting on rog, balic, coric, halilovic, sosa, benkovic, caleta car, perica, krovinovic…and others. is Moro back yet?
pjaca is doing well, regaining his fitness and form slowly at fiorentina. rog still mostly bench but ancelotti is giving hiim chances when he can, he started the last game in serie A against empoli. balic has gone completely AWOL not even on the bench, despite breaking into the first team end of last season and despite Tudor being coach. bradaric plays every week for genoa. coric hasnt played a single minute for roma, but their coach has said that he has “very important qualities” and expects him to break into the team at some point, perica is playing serie B this season. i havent checked on him. pasalic was playing every game for atalanta and doing well but i havent checked for a few weeks now…halilovic was last seen scratching his lower back furiously wondering what he’s having for dinner while a football match unfolds around him
@Soul Champ – true. Halilovic needs to be playing.
How are all the other young guys doing in Italy? Does anyone know?
Pjaca, Rog, Balic, Bradaric, Coric, Perica, Pasalic
Gatuso is the Italian version of Kovač.
Zero offensive vision.
Halilovic is the goods.
His father has made bonehead move after bonehead move.
Needs a simple club to get his game back in flow.
Why is Halilovic on the bench always? Is Kalinic his idol?
Kovacic came on in the 2nd half and played well.. Should be able to regain his starting role from Barkley. Would like to see him play the defense mid for us vs England n Spain
Good for zubac. I’ve seen only highlights but he seems agile with a nice touch.
Walton is getting fired anyway.
LeBron is the coach of the team, not Walton. He will be replaced.
What a shocker…. Big man allergic Walton actually plays zubac and he puts up 9 pts, 8 rebounds, 80 percent shooting, +15 in +/- in 20 minutes and the Lakers win
Love to see Vlašić have a breakout this November and score against England .. that will get them chirping at mercy side.

@Razbijac, things change fast. It was them bringing in Kovacic that put pressure on Barkley and LC to fight for the spot bringing out the best in them. Barkley scores Kovacic doesn’t. He either needs to start scoring or find a team where he isn’t relied on for goals. Only time will tell during his loan spell.
Rebic has been in fine form of late, scoring 4 goals in 6 Bundesliga matches. He should start up top for Repka, plus he adds a bit of aggression to pressure the opposing backline.
Not only were Nikola Vlašić & Josip Brekalo in their respective teams starting lineups Saturday. But they were also included in Dalic’s latest national team squad.
Vlašić has been playing well, and typically plays as a RW for CSKA. He would be the perfect candidate for that spot for Repka.
And word has it on the street that the Chelsea brass will not be signing Kovacic on a permanent deal at the end of his loan deal. They feel they have Barkley and Loftus-Creek who are good enough. Will Kovacic be relegated to the bench? Stay tuned…
