By the grace of God, or maybe Mamic’s wallet and a little help from a blizzard, GNK Dinamo Zagreb earned their first point in 12 UEFA Champion League matches after a late game-tying penalty by Ivan Krstanović.
The match was postponed at the ninth minute due to horrendous conditions caused by heavy snow fall. The officials sent the players in the locker rooms while they cleared off the lines of the field and made them visible again with red paint. Fans and players were unsure if the match would be able to resume, but officials called the players back out to continue the game.
Dynamo Kiev had already clinched the third place spot in the group, and essentially had nothing to play for except pride. Dinamo had already been eliminated from any advancement in European competition, but had a lot more at stake.
If they lost, they would have tied the record for most consecutive losses in Champion’s League play. They also would have had to face the embarrassment of finishing this year’s campaign without scoring a single goal.
The home team started the match off strong, impressing the some 200 fans in attendance at Maksimir Stadium. Several chances presented themselves, but luck was not on their side, and and the modri could not take the lead.
Forward Duje Čop surely thought he had scored early in the match when Kiev keeper Maksym Koval could not handle a low cross in the snow. Čop hit a left-footed strike that rocked the crossbar.
Fatos Beqiraj had chances of his own when Koval as unable to control the ball, but misfired his shot.
Krunoslav Jurčić returned to the helm at Dinamo for the final Champions League match and hoped not to start off where he finished last December when Dinamo set records for worst CL campaign.
Zagreb did a fine job controlling the possession throughout the entire match. Passing was strong, and their chances were plentiful, but their finishing was not there.
Kiev’s lone goal came from a first-half-stoppage-time chip from Andriy Yarmolenko. Yarmolenko received the ball from behind him and blindly volleyed if forward. It didn’t seem like he meant to put it on goal, but it floated just over Ivan Kelava, who was playing about two steps out of position. The ball hit the crossbar and was knocked in by a diving Kelava.
The second half was a mirror image of the first. Dinamo continued to press, but missed every near chance they had.
Then came redemption.
A close call by the referee gave Dinamo the opportunity to tie the match.
After Krstanović beat the last defender and entered the box, Koval made a full stretch diving attempt at the ball in the snow and punched it away, taking Krstanović down in the process. The referee immediately pointed to the spot and awarded the PK, which Krstanović easily put away.
“It’s a big satisfaction that we were able to get a point. It is just a point in the Champions League, but it means getting rid of the burden that is constantly emphasized, and gives us the momentum to be better prepare for the new European competition where we will be much more competitive [next season],” Coach Jurčić said after the match. “Congratulations to my players, They believed up to the last moment, and it paid off. Also congratulations to all those fans who have been with us the whole game and congratulations to Mr. Ante Čačić who led Dinamo this year and brought them this far.”
Dinamo ended their European season by finishing in last place in group A, with one point.
@IvicA
Bravo Ivica. Well said and a well written analysis.
First of all let me explain something to you do you know why Gotovina was and went to jail. HDZ!

RE: the Gotovina reversal…
Honestly, I don`t know anybody that would’ve predicted that. That acquittal took EVERYBODY by surprise.
There was a blatant and public agenda set forth by the EU to equalize all crimes in that war, which they thought was their noble effort to speed up the reconciliation effort between the Serbs and Croats and have them both join the EU. They were willing to put two innocent people away just to make this happen.
The proof of this agenda is found in the remarkable amount slander the court verdict had received by many key EU officials. Carla Del Ponte’s comments after the acquittal were unbelievable…so was Serge Brammertz publicly expressing how disappointed he was in the verdict…the two judges who voted against the acquittal publicly lambasting the other judges for voting in favour of the acquittal…the government of Russia now chiming in on their horror at the acquittal…the endless news articles slamming the acquittal, without even thinking about the notion that if that same 200-meter-missed-target theory (that the prosectors based their entire argument on) applied to all wars, then almost every leading figure in NATO and the EU would be behind bars just for their involvement in the recent liberation of Libya alone.
The Serbs were right to say that the Hague was a kangaroo court…but for the wrong reason. The court was actually put in place to not only prosecute criminals but also to help bring Serbia back from isolation by equalizing all crimes of the former Yugo…and it completely backfired! LOL. All because of three judges decided to actually base their judgement on the facts and decided not simply play ball. Now we have Serbia isolating themselves with rage and the EU losing their shit on these three judges. Kerum said it right that only God could’ve done this (considering how bad we are when it comes to politics and lobbying to get what we want).
I’ll never doubt anything again.
P.S. Also, the three judges in favour of the acquittal being a Turk, a Jew, and a Crnac (probably put in these positions by the EU’s drive to be progressive and multicultural). I couldn’t of written a better script, lol.
@Ziva Istina unfortunately that is the case.
And here is this! Last year Dinamo had the worst record in the Champions League. Most notable was their goal differential of -19, which set a record as being the worst ever.
This season they managed 1 pt and an improved goal differential of -13. Look at least it’s an improvement.
If they lost yesterday they would have had 12 consecutive losses and it would have tied Anderlecht’s horrific record. Thanks heavens that didn’t happen!
Anyway I’m hoping they qualify next year and get 2 draws or maybe even get a win.
so this is what Dinamo and top of Cro club soccer has come down to…….being compared and analyzed against the likes of FC Nordsjaelland.
@ Croatia vs. Antwerp
Thank you for that stat regarding FC Nordsjaelland. Just made my day.
i came to the USA when i was 4 I learned English And Spoke Croatian only in the household, i know speak spanish and german, im also in a city where the croatia population is less than 50……….i did it….you can do it.
@Bobby V……correct, I was dead wrong about the Gotovina reversal. I though – at best – a few years would have been shaved and he would have been out around 2020 (when you factor in the 66% time served). I don’t know of many people who believed in the Hague. If you did, then props to you.
back to the issue of speaking the language…….if you want to learn the language, you will. If you want your kids to know the langauge, then you will. It’s up to you. Ante B said it perfectly…..it’s up to you.
There is no excuse to not knowing the lanaguage if you want to consider yourself a hrvat. None!!! I feel you are not a Hrvat if you cant read/write croatia (among other factors). If you do, fine, we have a disgreement over that.
I can’t recall how many times I have shaken my head when in Cro when a first generation diaspora hrvat cant even order drinks at a bar without stumbling over the langauge. To me, its a failure by the parents when a first generation hrvat cant speak.
http://www.slobodnadalmacija.hr/Novosti/Hrvatska/tabid/66/articleType/ArticleView/articleId/195804/Default.aspx IT WILL GET WORSE DIASPORA DONT COME TO CROATIA!
But isn’t up to the parent to teach their children about it? I married a Croatian women and I can’t wait to teach our children the history and language. While they might forget it, isn’t it up to me to teach as much as I can?
@ Bobby V
Try to teach your children Croatian. Almost all of the adult first generation I met said that they wish their parents taught them Croatian when they were small. I know is hard, but try your best. It is valuable to know any language.
@ Bobby “and that is why I find it disappointing when you put others down for not being Croatian enough, even though they feel it in their souls that they are. We are all in different situations down the family tree.”
You dont live in Croatia and your kids were born here nothing wrong with them not speaking what good is the croatian language if they will never live there, its ok BLOOD makes you croatian and ZIVA is being ZIVA
@ Ziva – you also predicted the outcome of the Gotovina appeal wrong as well.
…amd regarding your use of the term “jock-sniffing” – this website is all about that, isn’t it? We take time during the day to talk about our Croatian sports heroes, most times with emotion. Most of us don’t acutually meet any of them personally, but, they are a “part of” us.
Regading the knowledge of the Croatian language for first-generation Croat-Americans, I was lucky to have both my parents speaking Croatian and I know the language as well as English. There are others here who have only 1 parent of Croatian descent….when the language is not spoken in the house, it is hard to learn.
I married a non-Croat. My kids know a few words and phrases, but, have embraced their nationality whole-heartedly. Awesome to see them wearing their Croatian soccer jerseys to school and giving themselves website monickers such as “Croatian Sensation”, etc. We watch all the games together – it’s the most Croatian they can be – they really try.
They stop to listen everytime I speak it on the phone with relatives and are amazed to hear a side of their Dad that they don’t get to hear much.
….and that is why I find it disappointing when you put others down for not being Croatian enough, even though they feel it in their souls that they are. We are all in different situations down the family tree.
FC Nordsjaelland got hammered by Chelsea. So they and NOT Dinamo, will have the infamous distinction of having the worst record in the Champions League. Yes the deciding factor was goal differential.
Oh how much that point meant yesterday :))) Now we can really celebrate.
Davor Suker je kreten God gave him talent to his legs not his head hahah,
Modric is a team player something Real Madrid is not a team.
IDEMO
** I forgot to add the word NOT….**
Bogut……….I was NOT rooting for him to suffer another injury, but I wasn’t rooting for him to be healthy either. I just call it like I see it. No spin, no homersim from me.
So, to repeat before the peanut galary jumps over my typo…..I have never rooted for porcelain doll Bogut to get hurt. Honestly, there is no need to root or hope for an injury….we all know he is going to get hurt.
regarding Bogut……he plays for Australia, not Hrvatska. So, I really dont care – good or bad – what happens to him. I was rooting for him to suffer another injury, but I wasn’t rooting for him to be healthy either. I just call it like I see it. No spin, no homersim from me.
And actually if I had a conversation with Bogut I would say that he is a walking injury based on his history in the NBA. It’s not like I am being a liar. Why would I be afraid to say such a thing.? It’s not like he is an animal and will hit me. Unlike some of you who fawn over celebrities, there is nothing wrong with being objective and not being a jock sniffer.
Plus, I admit when I am wrong……I have admitted I was wrong about Modric, I overvalued him. I thought he could walk into Real Madrid and make an immediate impact. He has not done that. See, I admit when I am wrong. But, please give me the benefit of the doubt as well when i am correct. I had to deal with the Kelava lovers two years ago who were claiming that he should start for the repka. I think we all know who was right (and I am not the only one) on that one.
I refer to Suker as Puppet Suker because that is what he is……he takes orders from Mamic, he is a puppet.
He finds the obvious, and nasty thing to say and then refers to it as a “well earned” title.
If someone was abused as a child and everyone knew about it, Ziva would give that person a “well earned” nickname along those lines.
Yet at the same time, he wouldnt say shit to someones face.
Especially someone who’s 7 feet tall!
I think the disconnect with you Ziva haters is that you think he says these things to spite you but in reality it’s exactly that, the truth. I don’t think he’s rooting for Bogut to get hurt, he just knows its going to happen by using the evidence and making an informed comment.
Does it make you mad when he’s right?
He does make me laugh and i dont mind most of his comments but i def would have fucked with him in school! 🙂
He just seems like “that guy” to me.
i think the criticism of ziva is he comes off wanting attention for sensationalist comments and cares more about being right then the success of hrvati. the good example being how you could almost sense he was rooting for bogut to get hurt just so he could make his porcelain doll comments.
Typically croatian: if somebody is better then you, do everything to put that person down.
Ziva goes to extreme sometimes, but he is well informed and I enjoy his coments, much more the some “politicka nastava”.
Ziva must have got his kicked on the daily at high school!
Unless Mama made him stay home and take Correspondence.
@Ante B……ha, well said…….also, some could argue ZG is still taking in all forms of trash from differnt parts (hercegovci :))
@Kardinal Stepinac…….Hvalen Isus!!! sabbatical would be work related and I have yet to figure out a date. But, fear not my friends. You would still be able to get in touch with me via twitter. I have yet to fully embrace twitter, but I do have a twitter account set up and you can reach/follow me at: @ziva_istina.
Jesus now if Ziva leaves then I have constantly read everybody else’s shitty takes and roll my eyes by either thinking they’re jugo or just new to Croatian soccer with no inkling of how to write read or speak the language. I should take a sabbatical as well for the trash to fill the site, just like how ZG took all the trash in from different parts of Cro before, during and after the war.
@Ziva Istina Why the sabbatical, is it career related or this website?
@Colin……..ha, Mama Istina knows better than to take away the wifi signal.
@Josey……..no trolling on my part. I agree with everything that I post. Let me axks (invoking some blackness in the conversation) you this……what have I recently posted that is wrong or incorrect? You may not like what I have posted or don’t like hearing/reading it, but it’s not like I am making anything up.
@Ziva – A sabbatical? Did mama Istina ground you from using the internet? Well, there goes about one third of the intelligently typed posts on the site. I can hear everyone’s cheers and cries from here.
@ Dinko Dog
I agree. Ziva is a Troll. He often makes negative, sensationalist, strongly opinionated comments designed to get a reaction from us. As well as satisfy his own delusional ego.
Makes me wonder too how his career is going if he has so much time to post and argue with others. I hope he does take a permanent Sabbatical.
Ziva – it is about balance. You remind me of my Dad – mostly critical about fellow Croats and when there is a shining moment from one of our players or teams, its the “ah, so they got lucky” type of attitude. It’s ok to compliment people, when deserved, in life – the easiest and most effective way to gain respect. Don’t know why people refuse to do it.
I hope you reconsider your sabbatical.
@Bobby…….well, those 7 guys would be the exception. I’ll say it again….If you cant speak, read or write croatian then you are much more of an american/canadian than croatian. It also means your parents (assuming you are a first generation) have failed you. Rooting for the cro soccer team or knowing who the croatian soccer player does not make you a hrvat. I have no strong interest with this topic, but if you want to bring it up I’m happy to discuss it.
@Ante……my jerk behaviour???? hey, you may think its jerk behaviour, but others don’t. Half of you dont like me (because I dare say something critical – usually deserved – of your sports darlings), and the other half have no issues at all.
Either way, you will get what you want in due time. I plan on taking a sabbatical and will not be posting on this website. I just fear for the blind homers when that happens.
@Cico come on, Hajduk or Rijeka would do better. They can’t even qualify for Europa league. Give it a rest.
Don’t know why everyone takes the bait of ziva who is clearly a troll. I read this site to get news on Croatian sport when I get a chance to between my responsibilities of family, friends and of course my career.
If I had so much time to engage with someone like ziva who comments so frequently on the internet (career must be going well), I’d clearly have bigger issues to worry about. There’s a big world out there young men, step away from your parents computers and at least argue with REAL PEOPLE…. I fear for the new generation.
Keep it up Ziva, your catch phrases prove you are being all you can be!
Play nice boys
Congrats to the Los Angeles Galaxy for winning the MLS Championship Cup
Actually agree with some of Ziva’s comments, but, overall, he comes across as the male version of Ann Coulter on this site. – fucking annoying.
Hajduk or Rejka would do a better job than these arrogant Dinamo team did . No good
@Bobby V-I hear ya,Zivas last words would be “take off your homer glasses, you are not as Croatian as me!”but lets not jump on Ziva too much here,I have just said quite a bit about jerk behaviour etc.If the guy would pull his head out of his ass a little he would actually be of some true benefit to the site and not just his own ego.Less homo glasses would equal a better Ziva!
Lost respect for Ziva when he stated awhile ago that not knowing the Croatian language makes you less or not Croatian, yet, I personally know seven young men from the Chicago and Toronto areas (who probably know about 20 words between them) that went back in 1995 and fought in Oljua, while Ziva sat at home and jerked off in his mother’s basement. Head up your ass much? I’d love to send them to your door.
Great game for Dinamo! It’s an improvement from last year. And a positive step.
I hope they qualify for the CL next year. As it’s good for Croatian football, as it gives young Croatian players a chance to go up against quality opposition.
And Modric is a World Class player
Galaxy baby
@Ziva-so you dont say I didnt answer your question,Yes,you did say he “was approaching bust”amongst other crappy comments about the guy.
Maybe he wont quite find his feet there as well as we would like him to and be the true stud at mighty Real, but he will still be a fantastic player.Stop using your jerk like behaviour when making comments and then pulling out your worn out line of the truth hurting,it seems to be hurting you a great deal more.
@Ziva-if you want to know what homo glasses are, they are the things sitting on the tip of your nose. You need to take them off and realise that the sun dont shine out of your butthole.
For the amount that you write into this site, you sure as hell dont have too much respect, even if you do have some decent points and some decent knowledge. You are not quite bust yet at this site, but you are sure as hell not the stud you believe yourself to be.
Dont pull out your well versed line with me that the istina hurts,I am far from hurt or annoyed by it.This is another area where you need to remove your homo glasses(if you still dont know what they are,its something I termed for you and will use endlessly when referring to you)as far as Bogut goes, its just a small example of your jerk like behaviour.Fine, its well known about him, most decent people on this site dont see a need to degrade him with this reference every single time he is mentioned, again, take off your homo glasses Ziva and you may begin to see this about yourself,or does the truth hurt too much??
@Ante……what the hell are you talking about. I never said Modric was a bust, at least not yet. I said how long before people at Madrid become frustrated with his play and begin to label him a bust. His play today was very good, but it came in a game where there was no pressure and against a much weaker opponent. That is what he should do against such a team. Now, lets see if becomes more consistent. All I have said is that he has not played up to the level that was expected from him. I don’t think anyone can argue that.
What are homo glasses?
Again, don’t get mad because you don’t like the message (no matter how correct it is). Sometimes the ISTINA really does hurt.
And why does it bother you that I refer to Bogut as a porcelain doll? Who cares, its a well earned nickname.
Puppet Suker Rules
@Mate Cleveland-Good on you for your big shout to Luka-he deserves it,and he is already one of the top mid fielders in Europe.
Ziva is just full of crapp quite often,to say he is bust at Real is just jerk behaviour, which he tries to justify by being the most truthful person on this site, ba ha ha.The guy just highly overates himself. He says he likes Modric, but he is more concerned about being right and constantly repeating dumb terms for people.
Modric still has a long way to go to “make it “at Real, but saying he is” bust”is just wearing homo glasses.
@Ziva-also,constantly referring to Bogut as”porcelain doll”with every single reference is not about truth, again its more about jerk behaviour.Sure theres a truth to it,but most people dont just want to ride his nuts constantly and would like to see things go well for him.
Thats why you cop the crapp you do,not because people cant handle the truth. You need some real istina about yourself, take off your homo glasses and drop your rating of youself down about 12 notches. You have been acknowledged many a time for having many good facts, that much is true.Again, pity that the jerk side of you gets in the way so much.By saying once a year or so that you were slightly wrong about something does not cover up your true obsession of being the most right at all costs.
Ante B you are right on about Mamic . Finally right about something
I do understand Real pretty much fielded a secondary team, but still, Ronaldo, Benzema, hand full of other studs were still on the field
@ Ziva
Aaaaa, ziva, guess who was the player of the match for Real….guess
Hahaha, I’m just kidding man, all the things already discussed still carry weight, but I had to take this opportunity to slide on my homer glasses as you call it and give a big shout to Luka….Bilic did say he would be one of the top midfielders in Europe one day
Ok that too But RANGERS SUCK!
Like Hajduk.
They Still Suck
Update for you.
How can the Rangers suck? NHL is on strike???????
Dinamo sucks like the New york Rangers!
Cico/Sime must be upset with the Dinamo result. Oh well.

great day for croats, dinamo gets a point, modric plays phenomenal, helping set up 2 real goals, and perisic with a great game for dortmund
Cestitam Dinamo!
Guys in Diaspora are lucky not to live in croatia enjoy other thing forget about us loser croatians no money no Future our liga is a result of our way of life NIKAKVO!
VOLIM TE DINAMO!!!!!!!
I think it is nice they celebrated. They know they are no good and they humbly submit to that. They can’t be faulted for being happy about their first point in 12 games. Go Dinamo!
the game meant nothing, but UEFA wanted the game played so they could wrap up the group phase.
Dinamo in reality deserved the point, but the game probably should have been cancelled, no way you can play on that. I was on and off watching this one, the snow ruined the match
@ ZIVA DA!
Also why didnt Sammiric shoot worried that his price would fall or that Stimac would not call him for games.
A point and a goal. Finally.
Good game Dinamo.
good lord……..that celebration by the Dinamo players was strange. Don’t know what was worse. The agaony of watching a once proud club like Hajduk milk their century celebration for everything possible or seeing these idiots on the field celebrating like they won the Champions League. The rest of Europe is laughing at them while they celebrate.
MAMICU CIGANE ODLAZI IZ SVETINJE
English commentator: All Sammir has to do is shoot the bloody ball. Take a chance for the love of all that is good.
Dinamo had a ton of chances. I guess mother nature was in their favor tonight. How much do you think Mamic paid for the snow to fall?
DINAMO coach Ante Cacic in Agust Sto ce mi napadac poput Klasnica ja imam 5 napadaca! He was right BRavo Gol haha why didnt Sammiric shoot?
Woo-Hoo!!!
Volim te Dinamo!!! 🙂
@Colin O’Haravić
“THey deserve the point though.”
Agreed.
I wonder how much Mamic paid for that last one. Sramota
Celebrations in Zagreb commencing
Bwahahaha! GOAAALLL!!! What a gift from the ref. Krstanovic penalty. Good shit. THey deserve the point though.
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!
YES!
That’s about 50 more people than I expected to show up.
@Ziva They did install heating coils under the field. They just turned them on too late. As you can see, they did turn them on and the snow melted, leaving the field soaked. So heated field? Yes. Proper drainage system? No.
I heard it’s snowing over there and less than 100 people are at the game? lol
If Kruno Jurcic cant inspire a win, nobody can.
doesn’t look like it….
Didn’t they install a heated pitch during the most recent renovations?
Fun game to watch, but if I’m UEFA and I see the condition of that field there is no way I would consider using that stadium during Euro 2020. I know it will be summertime, but this is just another example of how bad that stadium is. No heated field.
@Colin thank you

Any links for the Dinamo game.
Where’s Krunchie today?
He’s not even on Kiev’s bench
Is he injured?
Dinamo playing in an absolute blizzard. This is hilarious. Dinamo can’t buy a goal right now. They should be up 3-0. Kiev keeper can’t handle the ball in the snow.
Lukica!!!
Beautiful play!
Modric assists in RM 2nd goal.
Modric set up the second goal. Beautiful pass.
That’s not snow. That’s Zdravko Mamic throwing cocaine from the svecana loza.
Don’t undermine yourself Ziva. You’re much more believable than Fox News.
Najvise volimo Mamica bez glave
ahhh, I see the anti-Ziva people are out in force….all two of you.
Chin up boys and girls, just think what you would do without me. Some of you would be stuck with your homer glasses on being jock sniffers and jersey-chasers and adoring the likes of scum like Puppet Suker. No bias on my end. Just like Fox News…..I give you the truth, I give you the “ziva istina”
Cico/Sime plain idiots.
fucking ziva and his gay terminology pisses me off….”homer glasses”, ”puppet suker”….sounds so gayy. stop talking like that people gna start thinking youre a pedercina
Please don’t confuse me with other people! I hope Dinamo Wins vs. Kiev . I always root for Croatian teams when we play foreign teams . Please ! Bog,Hrvati,Hajduk,i L.A. Galaxy Champions !!!
DINAMO <3

Duje Cop 90' goal
When we are babies our subconscious mind is wide open, and we receive pessimistic habits from the people around us, most of whom have negative viewpoints.
So I am sick and tired for people criticizing Ziva, it’s not his fault he just needs the hug his parents never have him. On the bright side they still pay his internet connection so he can post on EVERY topic (busy boy) & we can read his insightful posts while he can jerk off to his web cam girl.
Chin up Ziva, it’s not your fault!!!!
….. now time for his “I’m just a realist, internet god rebuttal”
I wish everyone was as cool and smart as him
@Bobby…..the money would not have been the same for modric at PSG. Different tax rate in France compared to Spain and just wait for the crazy tax rate when this one goes into law. And easy on your conspiracy theory with the injuries. Plus, srna and the Brazilian-born hrvat play in the ukrraine, not Russia. Take the homer glasses off.
Hey Anonymous , use your name pizdo – loser
No
Hey, they beat them in a friendly earlier this year, they can beat them again in what is essentially another friendly.
Kruno should just start Halilovic. What’s there to lose?
If Dinamo can’t get a result tomorrow they never will; facing a Kiev squad with nothing to play for and without 4-5 first teamers
Cico/Sime, get a life you loser.
Has anyone else notice that our players haven’t done jack-shit in Europe over the past 3 weeks?
And how do Srna and Eduardo both get violently injured in the same match in Russia over the weekend? Serbs looking to even the playing field? Keep your eye on that BS as March 22 nears.
Real Madrid is an extremely difficult place to keep your mental state of mind healthy if you are a foreigner wondering where your playing time went. The organization leans on you only when their own Spanish players underperform and then, the fans are all over you when you are not the best player on the pitch. Things have never been fair at that club – don’t know why it’s a dream to play there for many.
Luka should have gone to PSG – his money, playing time, and quality of life would have all been there for him.
No. Govna
Argentina coming to play Croatia, that’s awesome!
It’s a good preparation match, as Vatreni have some difficult qualifying games next fall.
Only in hrvatska do they put more effort in trying to line up meaningless friendlies instead of trying to grow the game internally and cleaning up the stadiums. They better get a gaurantee in writing from Argentina, because Barca’s season will go into late May and I am sure the last thing Messi wants to do is play a worthless game in a depressing environment.
Can’t wait to see how many idiots in Cro would pay money for that.
Sorry if this was already posted: Looks like an Argentina friendly is being lined up for June this upcoming year most likely in Zagreb, with an outside chance of it being in Split. Suker and his boys are banking on Messi playing being a huge selling point.
NO
Modric press conference
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FnWZqfVgDGI&feature=g-u
Can’t wait to see that “toilet” full on March 22nd! 🙂
This Kiev team is not much and they have nothing to play for. So, for that reason, it will be a meaningless friendly and Dinamo will find a way to score a goal and a win.
I am interested to see how many idiots there are in ZG and would actually come out to watch something like this. I can’t see the attendance being more than 5,000. I hope the ZG public thinks twice about going to this game and instead saves their money and goes to a Medvescak game or a ZG handball game. Better atmosphere with both those sports than soccer in that toilet named Maksimir.
it’ll be an ugly game, but I’ll give Dinamo the benefit of the doubt…
2-1 Kiev, with Dinamo finally putting one in the back of the net…
fuk no
Dinamo one nill Fuken!
