The World Cup is around the corner which means we get a slew of new songs to jam out to. “Idemo Na Vrh” (feat. Ludin & Jay Lee) was recently released in front of the start of the 2026 World Cup in North America.
A new Zagreb rap duo, consisting of Steve Mešić “Ludin” and Jurica Grlić “Jay Lee”, presents the song “Idemo Na Vrh”, a fan anthem inspired by the Croatian national football team, unity and winning mentality.
Steve Mešić, who in recent years has been working under the stage name Ludi, has decided to return to his old name Ludin and join forces with his friend and rapper Jay Lee from Zagreb’s Gredice . Jay Lee is known in hip hop circles as a former member of the legendary group DBP, while Ludin has been living and working in New York for the past 10 years, where after a short break he is actively working on music and new projects again.
The video was shot in an abandoned quarry in Zagreb’s Podsused and multiple locations across Velebit.
“We wanted to convey the emotion that people feel when Croatia plays — a sense of pride, togetherness and faith that together we can reach the top”, said Ludin and Jay Lee.

Does anyone have an update for Belinho? I remember reading he had moved away from Dinamo but apparently he has returned? Should he not be at this tournament? Enquiring seljaks want to know.
I read something in the media a few months back, that coaching staff at Dinamo were doubting his physicality. He has the technical ability but is weak physically and cannot compete against physically stronger players.
He moved from Dinamo back to Kustosija (3rd tier Cro League) seeking to play more senior football. Over the last few months, I went to check their first team lineups and never saw his name on the list, and he was not even playing for their youth team. Not sure if he was injured?
Very promising as a junior, but unless he puts on some weight and gains some muscles he won’t succeed at senior level.

Maminjo you shouldn’t trash Serbia youth. We are the same gene pool and connected at the hip. When jokic wins mvp, it’s a victory for the Croatian people. When djokovic wins a grand slam, it’s a victory for the Croatian people. Likewise if Serbia performs poorly, it means that the Croatian gene pool is not predisposed to sports but simply has a better soccer academy system than Serbia
Cape Verde just pumped Serbia 3-0. I told you guys not to underrate teams you’ve never seen play just because you can’t find them on a map.

Nobody is saying Serbia is good. There were comments here as usual laughing about the quality of teams at the World Cup. Teams no one here has seen play. Cape Verde was the team mentioned. As if they are Gibraltar level. Cape verde are a good team who play excellent football. I remind you Maminjo that before WC 2022 people were saying Morocco are trash. I said no they are not trash they a very very good. They got to the World Cup semi final knocked out Belgium, Spain, Portugal. People live in strange echo chambers.

I haven’t been following our U17s and was surprised to not see “midfieder” next to his name.
Is it possible we actually have a striker?
Strong powerful with pace. A good strong right foot with an above average technique. There is potential there for sure but to early to say if he’s the future number 9. Most impressive player for me was Nik Zuzic although didn’t show much this game he was outstanding versus Belgium and Estonia.
That’s also good since he’s a left winger.
These are two positions in need, so hopefully they continue to develop and are a part of the Senior Team by the next World Cup.
Almost pulled a miracle but fell short in the end. Dedic reminded me of Boksic with his second goal with his pace and strength. Team is lacking a bit in the midfield up front they have some very good talent. If they can get Soldic and Ilicevic for the World Cup this team can go a long way.

We miss out on the SF however a great result against strong Spain.
Second half Spain equalised and then took 2 – 1 lead before Dedic with the two late goals turned things around.
Dedic with a hat trick and having watched him play in the earlier qualifying rounds he is the best prospect in this group of players. He plays as a lone number 9 up front, very robust, physically strong, has a good shot on him and is also reasonably quick.

We started the match well and took the lead on 3 minutes when Jakov Dedic benefited from a mix up in the Spanish defence. We had another couple of chances to go two up in the first ten minutes or so.
Toward the end of the half Spain started to dominate possession and pressure us mainly because we ran out of puff a bit and were unable to close them down in the midfield like in the first 30 minutes or so.
With Belgium winning against Estonia we need another goal against Spain to progress.
Ran out steam in the second half it’s usually the case with our younger players can’t keep up physically. Spain are the better team no doubt about it but they seem incorporating more Africans which they never did before. Guess Spain culturally changing as well.
Yes, they had four Africans in their starting 11.
Dedic with two late goals to make it 3 – 2.
Four minutes of stoppage to go.
Need another goal or Estonia to score against Belgium.
