Dinamo Zagreb redeemed themselves yesterday after the embarrassing 1-1 draw to Fola Esch on home soil last week.
The Modri rolled into Luxembourg on Wednesday, this time with a coach released from prison who could lead them to victory.
Marko Pjaca scored a double to put Dinamo up 2-0 by the end of the first half, and Marko Rog scored his debut goal to finish the game with a score of 3-0.
Dinamo played against Fola the way they should have played them in Zagreb; no need to be brilliant, but controlled the match with ease and did exactly what they needed to to.
Up next today, three more Croatian clubs will contend for a chance to advance in the Europa league.
Hajduk Split will face Slovenia’s FC Kopar at Poljud.
Hajduk had a little trouble against the club in Slovenia last week and fell 3-2, but they will try to redeem themselves in front of their own fans today.
HNK Rijeka have a long way to go after their shocking 3-0 loss at home during the first leg against FC Aberdeen.
Rijeka will travel to the land of Scots today and try to pull off a miracle and advance in the tournament like the rightfully should.
Lokomotiva is the only club that is ahead in races for the second leg. The Lokosi defeated Greece’s PAOK at Kranjčevićeva last week and will try to hold their 2-1 lead as they face the club in Greece.
Bravo Poglavnik for calling him out.
@ Maminjo – Agree with you 100% on your first post above – well written.
No comparison to what the Serbs did, and spot on about Milanovic’s real intentions.
Bravo Hajduk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jadna Lokomotiva.

Fear mongering?????? All I do is bring up possible scenerios. Let me connect the dots for you……….jews have powerful lobby and media……when nazi symbols come into play, the jews watch and make sure the world is aware of what took place. This whole episode was a black eye to Cro. Was it not?????
And, easy man…you are one of the regulars. I wasn’t alluding to you.
I was talking about the people who come on here and have no logic when commenting as they let their emotions carry the day.
Anyone else sick of Ziva’s fear mongering?
@Ziva
And what Is all this fake outrage u speak of? Most of here genuinely give a shit about our HNS and unlike u we don’t give a shit about the Serb and Jew reaction to all of this.
You’re worse than the fuckin Enquirer!
Grow up loser.
lol…. PAOK up 4-0 and there not even at HT yet.
All 73 Lokosi fans in Cro are pretty bummed right about now.
@Ziva…. And with that track record, Suker was ELECTED to a position with UEFA’s executive committee hahaha! don’t just give Croatia too much heat, corruption is a real issue all across world football… doesn’t really matter though, to the power brokers, nothing will stop people from dumping money into events like the World Cup, Euro, etc. and as we all know, “pare, pare pokrecu svijet, politiku i nogomet…parama ja kupujen sve….”
@ Ziva
we know the story with Suker, but what can do we do at this point? should our navijaci just go ape shit these next games and really force the savez’s hand in getting rid of Suker, Mamic and that entire crew? more flares? more chants? and then maybe get kicked out of the Euros?
in a vacuum, what is Ziva Istina’s answer to fixing all these issues with the HNS?
Ziva,
You’re sensationalizing things and exaggerating the impact this makes to any non-Hrvati who follow soccer.
Remember when Russia received a 6-point reduction for Euro 2016 for their fans bringing in that ‘This is Russia’ banner during their game against Poland at Euro 2012?
You probably do, only because I brought it up about a month ago. But most people (especially non-Russian ones) don’t even know that incident happened.
I bet most people on this site have never heard about that incident, and everyone here follows the Euros pretty closely (much more than the average person).
That incident was even bigger than this one, mainly due to it taking place in the actual tournament with actual fans present, as well as the punishment being much greater than what we just received. Yet it didn’t seem to inflict any damage to the Russia FA.
This swastika incident is a case of some individual who vandalized a field, causing the Croatian FA to be penalized. It will, justifiably, be forgotten among the non-Hrvati (as it should), no matter how much you want it to linger.
tsk, tsk……….you used a capital “H” when referring to jadan, mali i nemocan hajduk.
I still think jadan, mali i nemocan hajduk will find a way to be jadan, mali i nemocan before the end of the game.
Hajduk up 1-0 on Kopar.
3-3 aggregate on now.
Lokomotiva losing 3-0 after 15 minutes. They have no fans so nobody cares.
we only have 1 home match left in these qualifiers, so does this carry over to friendlies, wc qualifier, or next uefa?
This is still bad for Cro.
If you are not a hrvat, this is how you are seeing it:
Croatia is fined 100,000 euros, more games with no fans and 1 point deduction for having a swastika on the pitch. While we think the damage was not as bad as what it could have been, this is still a black eye for the federation and country. More nuetrals will look at us funny because of this.
Remember, under the leadership of Puppet Suker we have witnessed:
a ten game suspension for Suspension Joey
multiple fines for bad fan behavior
multiple games now behind closed doors
point deduction, which is rare
a swastika on the pitch.
All of this has taken place with Puppet Suker as president. In what normal country would someone like that remain in power. Only in the Balkans.
@nk sisak
Don’t be a pizda.
The biggest losers in all this would have been the Cro fans and even Croatia’s image as a nation, with anti-Croats taking every step possible to draw attention and associations between Croats and swastikas.
Milanovic tried to draw attention to it with that faux-letter to UEFA, and every Croat media portal constantly talking about being kicked out of the tournament, as if that should be the expected outcome for this.
Serbia was docked 3 points for the extremely VIOLENT actions from its fans (and even stadium staff!) by rushing the field and physically assaulting the Albanian national football team. Literally, 40 year-old men and security guards punching at some 20 something year-old Albanian kids. That was 3 points.
Some jerkoff vandalizing the field in Split with some grass killing chemical in the shape of a swastika somehow deserves more than what the Serbian NT received?
Now we should all be thankful that we received this “slap on the wrist” and weren’t kicked out of the tournament? LOL.
wrong the real winner in all of this are the real Croatian fans, the one’s who support the team and will get to watch them play
well done
Naprijed !
Play all the young studs and save the core veterans for Summer 2016.
Government should commandeer matters for the remaining home matches.
Hire Gotovina to secure the stadion.
Like to see someone cross the General.
ZDS
Only real winner out of this was Mamic
Slap on the wrist
i’m pretty pscyhed about the result. would’ve been disappointing not to have a meaningful cro soccer game for over a year and half
few games behind closed doors, no games in Split for the rest of the cycle, 100k euro fine
really a slap on the wrist, all things considered – thought this was going to get much much uglier
and the cherry on top, we are still 1 point ahead of italy in the table ha
1 point deduction. It’s official!

Your sources ? You mean the HNS website ? oooor uefa.com ?
My sources tell me that we will be deducted one point and penalized two home games without fans. We also won’t be able to play in Split for awhile.
bravo Dinamo, samo naprid
