Although the scoreline read 3-1 in Dinamo Zagreb’s favor Wednesday night in a victory over Hajduk, the Croatian champions have plenty to gripe about. Within 10 minutes of each other the 1st half, Dinamo should have easily received two penalty kicks. Instead, nothing was called and play went on. Oršić scored a wunder-gol in the 16′ and bagged the brace two minutes later. Nonetheless, two missed penalties happened. Was it too obvious?
The following statement popped up on the internet immediately after the game but there is no merit to it as it was never posted on any official Dinamo Zagreb social media. If something like this did come from Dinamo, I would only hope and pray they had a better Croatian to English translator. This is awful.
Lol. Hajduk lost to lokomotiva.
Funny a french is calling us weak as piss… last I check y’all got fucked every war you ever fought.
https://youtu.be/kwerk22H_kU
.
That’s the video I meant to put up.
@Eric the budala
.
I’m definitely French, but I take an interest in all countries. I actually know more about Croatia than any of you guys, I speak the language, listen to your music, I don’t eat your food because you guys eat some weird shit, but seriously, I actually feel sorry for you Croats.
.
I was recently watching Drazen Keleminec (branitelj domovinskog rata) on Youtube and the guy said “nema slobode bez borbe.” How many of you liberal raised American, Canadian and Australian guys on here would agree with him and say Hrvatska nije slobodna?
.
Some say that in Croatia da je nikada bolje za cetnike dok partizani vladaju.
.
The cetnik in that video says that Knin is occupied Serbian land. It’s funny that Keleminec gets harassed all the time by the partizani that rule Croatia, but the cetnik in this video can say whatever he wants. Only in weak as piss Croatia would you be able to get away with doing stuff like that. Should you Croats kick that cetnik out of Croatia? Should what that cetnik said in the video be seen as a threat of future violence? Is Knin Serbia? The Serbs believe it is and if it is, then they do have a right to get it back. It seems that there’s some interesting times ahead!

@armada87 well said.
Ova budala nije francuz, samo vas zajebava.
joj… stop feeding the troll guys….
@Suba
You’re alright, you have the French liberal spirit of acceptance, a true liberal.
.
@Poglavnik
I thought you were a progressive liberal, weren’t you on here once mocking Catholic Croats with the spirit of the French revolution?
.
@Stipe
Aren’t you a liberal? This site accepts people from all EU member states, so why don’t you leave if you don’t like it and find some Serbian site, you’d fit in better there anyway?
@Frenchman
Please leave this cite. It will end up bad for you. Please just go. I don’t want to hurt your emotions and make you feel bad.
You should apologize to Medo, Maminjo and Marko before you leave. I argue with these those guys all the time. They don’t even like me. I don’t like them, but they are still my Croatian brothers.
Go relax. Everything is ok. I am sure your just anxious about your HIV test results. It’ll be ok.
I’ll treat you to some of 🍉 and grape soda.
Take care buddy!
Ivo Goldstein. There’s a good Croatian name.
Much like Madrid wouldnt have 4 CL titles this decade without one of us.
Lame argument loser.
Go away
Frenchman I like the French act by which frenchman knows about Ante Starcevic
Again we all know the current borders and politics of Croatia is run by the left but at least there is a form of Croatia for most Croats to enjoy even though it’s very imperfect
@Maminjo
What does the Father of your nation (Ante Starcevic) think about French colinization? Your Croatian historians Mirjana Gross and Ivo Goldstein called him a racist.
It’s like you and your minions believe that Croats are allowed to have semitic Croatian historians but the French national team isn’t allowed to have African Frenchmen, hypocrites.
.
Don’t forget you hypocrites wanted Olmo, but he preferred Spain.
.
Let’s keep it to sport shall we. The fact is without the other European countries developing your players you wouldn’t achieve the losing of a WC final.
Wouldn’t let me upload the pic – basically states how almost everyone on the French National team has African roots. Gotta poach elsewhere or you wouldn’t of made it out of group stage…well enjoy the social pleasures that come along with that and we’re not racist Frenchman we got color tv! Pusa mi kurac !
Za Dom Spremni
@ Frenchman – open your eyes frog, you truly believe those players/names of yours are French then go back to school ribbit ribbit frog ! …

@maminjo – lol classic always on point !
Took a country of about 65 million give or take a few; and a continent of about 1.3 plus billion along with some corrupt/bad referring to rob a more talented nation of only 4 million plus people (size of Toronto,CA) to rob us of a world title.
About 1.4 billion people to poach from against a possible 4 million lol- we see how u scum !
Za Dom Spremni !
I think suggesting that Africans need your help to be all they can be is much more racist than anything a ‘Yugoslav’ could ever be.
.
Remember, these Africans were enslaved and colonized by your people, and you still treat them like pets or children requiring your support.
.
There are no Africans walking around speaking Croatian, with a slave name from some Croat. This was outlawed in Croatia, including the shipping of human beings (from countries like yours).
That’s how the ol’ Frenchman rolls.
.
Now you have to deal with neverending social justice issues in your own country thanks to the mess you made.
@Medo
But if those “west Africans” stayed in Africa they would never become all they can be, they’re no different to your players that need help to develop in other countries.
.
You’re obviously a dumb racist Yugoslav.
Oh the irony…that song c’est la vie nominated for song of the year2012, sung by an Algerian produced by a Moroccan😂
How shit would France be if they had to field actual Frenchmen instead of west Africans.They would never ever even make a World Cup final.
C’est la vie!!
How shit would Croatia be if the three foreingers rule still existed and the big leagues didn’t develop your players? You would never get the chance to lose a WC final that’s for sure.
I don’t care who wins/loses in the Prva Liga. The only important thing to worry about is producing players. As long as they produce players to develop and sell to bigger Euro clubs, That’s all that matters to me.
I get excited when Dinamo makes the Uefa Champions League. I get excited right up until the first whistle is blown. Was it 2011 or 2012 when Dinamo was In the same group as Real Madrid? Obviously finishing last in the group giving up 16 goals ? That is worse than pathetic.
Is it only me that is worried that Petkovic is STILL playing in Dinamo? I know he is been loaned out. That’s not good he’s still playing for Dinamo. No other team wants him? Or he rather stay in Zagreb? Or Dinamo is playing hardball? Or does he just suck ? What’s up with that
I don’t need to hear anything from those cosmopolitan
Bean eating Yugos from Zagreb.
Had to include them
@ Maminjo
Not to be a stickler, but Hrvatski Dragovoljac isn’t a “classic” team name, they only took that name post-independence 😉
Ideal situation would be if Dinamo, Hajduk, Rijeka, Osijek continue to improve and succeed in European competitions.
That will get our UEFA club coefficient up, more teams in tournaments, and more money.
I could care less who wins between these four, so long as the quality keeps increasing and (more importantly) they don’t sell out and start loading their teams with foreigners over developing their youth.
I also would love to see Varadzin rename their team back to Varteks. I like these classic teams like Varteks, Hrvatski Dragovoljac, NK Zagreb, Sibenik, and Zadar, and I’d hate to see them disappear.
It’s nice seeing teams like HNK Gorica become something good, but would have rather had that happen to one of these classic teams due to their longer history in the 1.HNL and cities they represent.
Great conciliatory comments from everyone
Truly adhering to the sites motto
Fantastic stuff keep it up gents
@ Eric
I think in the grand scheme of things, the Croatian league isn’t half bad, in terms of the top half of the table. Point being, you’re right in terms of having more teams than just Dinamo making it to groups/knockouts. Rijeka have the coaching and quality to probably make a run in this new Europa Conference League (since we won’t have any teams directly qualify for Europa League) as does Osijek, if they can keep Bjelica and some of their key players.
I think the first one against Majer is 100% penalty. I can’t believe that wasn’t called even after VAR. The second one could have gone either way.
I agree with many of the comments…I am happy to see other title contenders besides just Dinamo (even as a Dinamo fan). It would be nice to see multiple Croatian teams competing in Europe as well.
@ Ante
Agreed. As I mentioned in a post in the last thread, I think its great that teams like Rijeka and Osijek are making runs for the title. Even though Hajduk is my sworn enemy when it comes to our domestic league, would be interesting to see Hajduk eventually win a title again (after 15+ years). If we could have *some* seasons where its a 4 horse race to the title with our traditional top 4 teams (DZG, Hajduk, Rijeka, Osijek) as you mentioned, it would be entertaining and great for our overall football.
I still have to bust your balls though, being you’re a dalmatinac and hajdukovac 😉
Kvartuc, this is your best ever comment…by far!!!
.
“I just know if Hajduk got their shit together, the league would be better and more people would tune in. That’s what I want”
.
.
I think Hajduk can do well if they first look at their own short comings, then they’d have far more support than just their won fans!
Slavonac, Not a loaded question. Dinamo got absolutely hosed on two calls. If those were Croatian players in the box at a World Cup (the Brazil match comes to mind) be would all be throwing wrenches at the TV.
.
@ Armada, Funny guy. I’m a Dalmatinac. Yes. Do I want Hajduk to do well? Yes. But I’m a fan of parity. I root for Rijeka, Osijek, Hajduk so we can have a good HNL. Dinamo wins the league every year. So much fun. I just know if Hajduk got their shit together, the league would be better and more people would tune in. That’s what I want.
.
Just like the NBA is good when the Celtics/Lakers are good..same thing goes with Yankess/Red Sox…the list goes on and on.
Wait, are you alluding to the fact that there’s a Hajduk bias on this site…? I’ll never believe it. Not for a second…..
Kvartuc, you’re asking a loaded question. I’d say yes to the Majer foul but more importantly, this topic won’t unite us.
.
If the role was reversed (like it has been soo many times), would you say that was a penalty if it happened to Caktas? would Hajduk fans say the HNS, Dinamo and Mamic are conspiring against Hajduk? thats exactly what usually happens…Hajduk fans end up writing articles about how corrupt the league, Dianmo and Mamic are and that they can’t get a deserved penalty because of those 3!
.
I don’t think this topic is healthy for us. Yes, the Majer incident looked like a clear penalty, he was cut down from going into a path…a clear chance to score but the only person I blame in that incident is the squirrelly ref!
Damn. Orsic was pissed at those non-calls, and he made them pay, lol.
.
He’s a really good player, especially when he catches fire.
.
Too bad he’s playing in an era where we have a lot of quality wingers. But having him off the bench is a great depth piece.
