The BBC has reported that Eduardo da Silva is now back at home after being discharged from a London hospital early Wednesday afternoon. His left leg will be cemented in plaster for the next 6 to 8 weeks giving the bone time to fully heal. After doctors conclude that the left leg is fully healed and fit enough, he will begin physical therapy which is expected, if all goes to plan, to last until December.
So as of right now, the earliest we can expect to see him back on the pitch is the second half of the 2008-2009 Premiership season for the Gunners.
