The first edition of this year’s El Clasico kicks of this Saturday (12 PM ET) from Camp Nou in Barcelona as storied Spanish rivals Barcelona and Real Madrid meet once again. And with Barcelona’s absolute dismantling of La Liga in 2012-13, Luka Modrić and company have much to prove in domestic play if they will contend for both the Spanish title and Champions League crown this season. It took Luka Modrić half a season last year to finally return to his old, magnificent self, reaching his peak at Old Trafford as he struck a whistling low shot to get Real Madrid on the board against Manchester United.
Now Luka Modrić must shine once again as the world watches Real Madrid and Barcelona on Saturday. But this time Ronaldo, Benzema and Ramos will have Welshman Gareth Bale to had to their arsenal. With Real only three points behind leaders Barcelona, a win here wouldn’t just be a boost for Madrid, but also for Modrić after sub-par Croatian results in recent qualifiers and limited assists on the Madrid side.

Luka ho cu jedna gola.
I will be able to check out the second half after watch my son run with his 5u purple panther crew.
As always I feel Modric will be the x-factor. You can’t run Barca off the pitch. You have play some soccer.
i hope he doesnt even play cos i dont give a fuck about real madrid, i just want him to play good on nov 15th
I hope he has a great game. At the same time i hope he has a safe game and keeps healthy. Playoffs are more important than El Classico
Good luck Luka do well.
