Hajduk did the unthinkable. They beat Dinamo Zagreb in an important match.
Let me repeat that one more time. Hajduk beat Dinamo in an important match. Crazy, I know! (And this is coming from a Hajdukovac)
With only five matches remaining in the HNL season, Hajduk Split just shook up the title race in Croatia Wednesday night in front of a packed Stadion Poljud. After a boring scoreless 1st half, former Croatia international, Nikola Kalinić, would score the only goal of the game with a left-footed shot from the right side of the box. It didn’t look like Dinamo goalie Dominik Livaković ever saw the ball through his crowded defense as the ball soared past him. Nonetheless, it was the shot that would earn Hajduk Split all three points.
Frankly, Hajduk looked like the better team from start to finish. Livaković looked shaky in goal (nothing new there) and Bruno Petković looked like an absolute shell of the player that got him called up to the Croatian senior side. Poljud was rocking and even became louder after the Kalinić goal, which forced Toricida to light dozens of red flares that carried smoke through Poljud. For roughly 10 minutes, it was difficult to see what was going on. It’s surprising that the game was not stopped.
With the Hajduk win, Dinamo only have a two-point lead on Osijek with five matches remaining in the HNL season. Hajduk trail by four points. Dinamo host Hajduk May 21st on the last day of the season. Dinamo still has to play Osijek as well.
Oops. Sorry I was going to post something about croat sports but this is a religious thread. I stumbled on to this post. Carry on folks
From a sporting fan to a religious fanatic is not a healthy transformation
Part religious and part political apparently… Lol
https://getfootballnewsspain.com/luka-modric-and-real-madrid-reach-agreement-over-new-deal/
Stability going into Qatar preparation.
11 years of Real Modrić !!
The legend continues ..
Simic 2 goals and an assist with the Salzburg youth destroying atletico
I realize it’s the youth but the kid can definitely score
Speaking of money
Psg apparently offered mbappe like 100 mill for a year
For the people without religion (|majority}
worship God Alone -> what are you going to lose>?
I am telling you to worship your maker – you can enjoy what you have
but worship your maker … stop worshiping idols, stop worshiping people!
And do not worship the rich amongst you!! -> because they have a problem
they used to worship the rich amongst them!! [and this is mentioned in the Quran]… They used to worship the rich whatever the rich said!! [everybody was running in that direction]
Sometimes your business partner can control you as a human being because you are making money through him!! …. so let’s be careful -> when you are making money through someone, they should not control you to the degree that you will earn the anger of God Almighty! …. and you are blinded religiously, just because the man or the woman you made money through, his/her now your big boss!!
may God Almighty grant us the understanding that God is the Supreme Boss
Why is Slaven Belupo in 7th? We much better than that @LaKnat.what do you think?
I know this has been said a million times, but it’s really great to see how many competitive teams are competing in the HNL this year.
This thread is a train wreck
Hey man. You religious zealots need to get a room and hash it out. There’s a great deal of hate and “my god’s better than your god” goin’ on here. All over the cruxiFICTION of a bunny rabbit.
These Croats should kill you in @LAknat’s opinion lol! Maybe go mix with your own kind instead of mocking these Croats here, just an idea?
Bunch of losers here -> who don’t believe in God |[Dajjal supporters]|
so the Truth a.k.a Frenchman still better than you – Atheist –
@LAknat
Luke 18:8
But yet the Son of man, when he cometh, shall he find, think you, faith on earth?
You know we believe that Antichrist cometh, so Christianity wont be flourishing at the second coming of Jesus Christ. What do you think of liberalism and “unity in diversity”? Is that a good thing for Mohammedanism?
Matthew 10:34
Do not think that I came to send peace upon earth: I came not to send peace, but the sword.
Don’t get excited, by the “sword” is meant divide as you see in Lk. 12:51-52, not chopping peoples heads off.
Luke 12:51
Think ye, that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, no; but separation.
John 14:27
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, do I give unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid.
John 16:33
These things I have spoken to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you shall have distress: but have confidence, I have overcome the world.
1 Corinthians 2:12
Now we have received not the spirit of this world, but the Spirit that is of God; that we may know the things that are given us from God.
” I am a Muslim before being Arab, when Islam and my government collide, I am always at the side of Islam without any strings attached! ” a Muslim | when there was a conflict between him and his people {He migrated} He would not give any concessions in Islam ..
All governments do not approve of this!
| ahh.. this is extreme | you are an extremist!
You have to be in a melting pot >> so Muslims Hindus Christian Jews all have to be nationalists -> having their allegiance to the country first then their religion!
Islam does not permit this! Islam says “that my life, say that my prayer, my sacrifice, my life, and my death are all for Allah Azza Wa Jal (The God Almighty) who has no partners and by that, I was commanded and I am among the first to embrace and announce my Islam! <– so this is what your identity is all about | and this is what you live and die ~ preserving your Islam
This is why it is very important while you are in the west to increase your iman
@LAknat
“a Muslim | when there was a conflict between him and his people {He migrated} He would not give any concessions in Islam ..”
What do you mean by “his people,” Mohammedans?
what the prophet Muhammad said ->
” I am a Muslim before being Arab, when Islam and my government collide, I am always at the side of Islam without any string attached! ”
When there was a conflict between him and his people {He migrated} He would not give any concessions in Islam ..
” I am not asking from you any cent |nothing| no recompense at all…. my reward would be from the God Almighty ”
Every messenger said ” I don’t want anything material from you ”
They did not to the degree that the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalam said:
” It is prohibited to eat the charity | we are not allowed! ”
you can’t give the charity to the messengers or to his family members!
Because God Almighty has mentioned in the Quran
how the religious folk of other faith has made their religion a money-making racket – literally !!
You enter the church for the example -> you pay so much
The richest person there is the priest or the bishop ..
That’s why – nowadays in our country -> if the person doesn’t have a faith and belief and they want to become rich.. the first thing you do -> open the church!! |better than anything else| better than dealing in the stock market ~
so for that reason, God Almighty warns us to say that A True man’s Religion -> they wouldn’t be greedy, they wouldn’t be people running the wealth
|God Almighty will take care of it and grant us contentment]
Why are Muslim countries participating in soccer then if this is such a concern of yours?? I think the two of you need to get you own website and leave the people here would like to discuss this sport called soccer. In case you didn’t know what that is.
@Mate1
Why lump me in with him, did I not tell you that the beginning is the cause of all the rest.
Do you Croats not feel shame, that when I talk shit about your football team you guys attack me mercilessly (like @Luka, @Mile etc.), you talk shit about my country, a Mohammedan attacks Christ and all of you shit your pants.
Fucking bunch o’ Bolsheviks like your atheist friend @Zoki lol, your site is a fucking joke!
Yougoslavsports.com nation enjoy your fake unity in diversity.
Tudjmans 200 families lol!
Now, I’m outta here, just like @Slavonac from Canada.
@LAknat ya infidel, go and educate ’em. I’m out!
@LAknat
“You enter the church for the example -> you pay so much
The richest person there is the priest or the bishop ..”
Why do you call them rich? We Catholics talk about the true riches which are not the things for which you call the priest or the bishop rich.
1 Corinthians 9:11
If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great matter if we reap your carnal things?
Mohammedans would answer YES even though they don’t give the Church their carnal things, the Catholic says NO and they’re the ones that give the Church their carnal things.
John the Baptist, greater than all the prophets would be considered poor by Mohammedans. Jesus Christ would be considered poor by Mohammedans, how do you know this, because @LAknat called the Church rich.
The Catholic does consider the Church rich, but for different reasons.
The Pharisees call Jesus Christ a deceiver but know He was crucified. The Mohammedan calls Jesus simply a prophet, but He was not crucified. Two Satanic parties trying to get the Christians to believe that Jesus Christ deceived us.
The Antichrist cometh.
I’ll continue to trust in the Lord.
Strange comments given that Croatia is very much a Roman Catholic country. I agree that this is a sports site tho, so the comments should be kept as such. Just as a side tho, the Easter Bunny has nothing to do with Catholicism or Christianity, it is very much a Roman tradition. But that aside if people don’t want to discuss sports, than they shouldn’t be on this website so this Laknat guy needs to stop intruding on the conversations.
Livakovic at the 3:10 mark of this video, ha ha.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PnJ-gd06T1w
Plenty of space to do what he wants, but opts for the “low and down the middle” clearance.
Lovre Kalinic looks better than Livakovic…but he’s also not so great.
Coughed up a pretty big rebound to Orsic in injury time (which he should have grabbed) at the 8:00 min mark of the video.
He also pussed out on punching out a clearance (at the 4:55 mark of the video).
He’s 6’7″ tall. He should have been more aggressive there.
Though he did well to save what looked like a deflected shot, and tip it over the bar (at 6:20 in the video).
We really, really need to figure out our goalkeeping issue over these next few months.
I had coffee next to cacic in kafic the other day in zadar and he said he was done with hns because some people weee teasing him about mamic and dinamo. He said hes on break from coaching. Looks like once a dinamo lacky always one. Im waiting for kruno jurcic this summer again hahahaha
Ante “Grizzly Bear” Cacic back in play with Dinamo …
Thank God he’s not part of Repka anymore
Yeah nikola kalinic is shit!
Let’s all remember the hype from the site at the start of the year of stipe buik being next messi esque and the best Croatian prospect. In his 19 year old season he finishes with 1 goal and 3 assists in the hnl. At age 19, messi had 17 goals in la liga
It doesnt work like that “diva is it Tina”. (You see what I did there?) Players progress at different rates. Look at luka, look at George weah, came to France in his 20’s. High ceiling doesn’t mean you will be ahead of the class at every age. It means IF and WHEN it comes together properly it will be special. Biuk has an ability to run at speed with the ball while also manipulating the ball independently of his stride pattern and can shoot accurately with composure and little to no backlift. That’s a unique trait that is similar to messi. But as we all know there are many many aspects to success in football and it remains to be seen how he develops. For example his first touch needs to improve, as does his physical conditioning, his passing and his confidence. May take some time. High ceiling IMO
@Crnkovic
Does your mum, in @LAknat’s words, “celebrate Easter”?
You know @The truth is not @Ziva Istina. @Ziva I recall was a pravaš, and he once said that the Kvartuc’s were part of Tudman’s 200 families, and he wasn’t saying it as a compliment, but @The truth is a communist so he would think that would be great. For the record Mr. Kvartuc denied @Ziva’s accusation.
The kvartucs are part of the tudjman 200. The liberation of Croatia has always been a great event but the way the elites utilized the moment and the peoples patriotism to line their own pockets was always tragic. Obviously this was not exclusive to Croatia but most of the countries where communism ended and the state assets were privatized on a buddy system. The Croatian people suffered as a result by not reaping enough from the public asset sales and having those assets go into unproductive hands that would hamper economic growth for generations
Yeah it’s called capitalism. Enjoy
Hahaha thats exactly what i was gonna say Crnkovic.. isnt that exactly what happens in the UK now, USA, AUS, etc? They all line their pockets by gutting public services, then saying they dont work and selling it off to buddies. Pure unadulterated neoliberal capitalism.
Political convos now. This is a bit of a joke…Second generation Croats in the Diaspora discussing what is going on in a country where they are not even living…and suggesting they know what it is all about…Lol. No wonder why Croatians in Croatian get pissed. It’s fine to have ideas, but to discuss them like your an expert that seems a bit out of place. At least to me it is. Maybe visit the place and have conversations with the people there give them a chance to tell you how it goes down, sure it is difficult to love there and things probably are corrupt but we probably don’t even know the first thing of why that is the case. Just sayin…
Keep the conversations on soccer people that’s what this site is for isn’t it…?
@The truth
Maybe it was you that said it? But you’re not @Ziva Istina, because I once wrote a comment under the username @Ziva Istina and you definitely thought I was the the original @Ziva Istina.
I always wondered why this “united” site doesn’t have people writing comments using their real names?
@LAknat
Like @Crnkovic you’re also a proselyte, did you convert because of your mum?
Easter is a pagan festival. Incorporated into the church. It’s the spring equinox, a time of regeneration.
The Truth is under the other name -> Frenchman
who even doesn’t know about his bible!||
see I educated him right here:
https://croatiansports.com/sretan-bozic-merry-christmas-croatiansports-com-nation-2/#comments/480828
@LAknat
“see I educated him right here:”
You haven’t educated someone by just writing comments you idiot, very arrogant thing to say, but then again you did confess to being arrogant. Like @Crnkovic said to you previously, get off the piss.
Did Moses permit a bill divorce before he permitted a bill of divorce?
Matthew 19:7-8
They say to him: Why then did Moses command to give a bill of divorce, and to put away? He saith to them: Because Moses by reason of the hardness of your heart permitted you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.
Ezechiel 36:25-28
And I will pour upon you clean water, and you shall be cleansed from all your filthiness, and I will cleanse you from all your idols. And I will give you a new heart, and put a new spirit within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and will give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit in the midst of you: and I will cause you to walk in my commandments, and to keep my judgments, and do them. And you shall dwell in the land which I gave to your fathers, and you shall be my people, and I will be your God.
Why you Mohammedans still want that stoney heart? Thou shalt not commit adultery, but you Mohammedans allow adultery!
@Crnkovic
Isaias Chapter 53 is about the Passion of the Christ, if your mum is Catholic that’s what she believes, unless you were lying and she’s not Catholic?
John 3:14
And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert, so must the Son of man be lifted up.
When did that happen Mohammedan?
@Crnkovic
“The staff with the snake has long been a symbol of medicine and the medical profession. It originates from the story of Asclepius, who was revered by the ancient Greeks as a god of healing and whose cult involved the use of snakes.”
Is it the logo for hospitals because of Moses or Asclepius?
That’s an interesting question Frenchman. What’s your point? That the prophets of Judaism are older than human civilisation? Sure, dont forget the earth is 6000 years old
@Crnkovic
“Easter is a pagan festival. Incorporated into the church. It’s the spring equinox, a time of regeneration.”
Easter is about the Passion, Crucifixion and Ressurection of Jesus Christ in the Catholic Church, that’s what your mum and I believe. Unless you were lying and your mum isn’t Catholic?
Zacharias 12:10
And I will pour out upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace, and of prayers: and they shall look upon me, whom they have pierced: and they shall mourn for him as one mourneth for an only son, and they shall grieve over him, as the manner is to grieve for the death of the firstborn.
Tell the people what your Mohammedans say about the Crucifixion?
So if the Pagans also had something going on during the Easter period before the advent of Christ, why should that be my concern?
Paganism was around before the Advent of Christ wasn’t it?
So please, your mum and I don’t need to listen to your ignorant bullshit, if you weren’t lying and your mum is Catholic of course?
I dont speak for my mum or anyone else. I speak for myself. Im not a catholic although I respect it just as I respect Hinduism. But more than any religion I respect good. Honesty, kindness, courage, humility and love. Whoever practices these things has my respect. Very simple. There are good honest Catholics, many. There are those who claim to follow and care about jesus but ignore his teachings as they adhere to dishonest myths which keep their brothers and sisters in poverty. I only need to put my head to the ground in submission to the creator and try to practice the good things with good conscience. I dont need anything else. I dont need an argument about religion. I couldnt give a fuck mate. I’m an adult. I’ve seen enough to know what is and isn’t important. What is true is true and so shall it be. We are all brothers and sisters, even the ones who are misguided. One love. Amen. Hallelujah. You talking about my mum too much Frenchman, you need to have some respect
@Frenchman
“I dont speak for my mum or anyone else.”
You’re the one who said your mum was “Catholic” here (unless you were lying?), I wouldn’t know that otherwise, why did you want these people to hear that? Anyway it’s not like I’m bad mouthing your mum, I wouldn’t do that, so just relax.
“I respect it just as I respect Hinduism.”
I’ve never met a Mohammedan like you, you respect that your “Catholic” mum and I believe Mohammed is a false prophet (admitting that belief in Mohammed is not required for Salvation!). You said you’d fight against Mohammedans for your Catholic mum also! And I’m not trying to get into a religious argument with you, I’m just trying to find out if you’re full o’ shit?
A man can’t respect what he believes is falsehood, what you want to say is that you accept that people have free will to believe what they believe is true, use your brain.
I don’t respect Mohammedanism, I believe it’s a conspiracy.
Beliefs that aren’t damaging are harmless. Beliefs that are harmful are not good. So believing that inequality drives progress aka neoliberalism is extremely harmful, I dont respect it at all. I will speak to educate against falsehoods that can be proven. Whether you believe jesus is a prophet or the messiah is irrelevant in this world. It may matter in the next but I doubt it. I hope that answers your questions. Yes my mums a catholic, but what that means to her is not for me to say. It’s for her. I have an education I know the history of the religions, the empires the wars, the political ideologies. Find something meaningful to say and we can discuss no problem
@Crnkovic
“Whether you believe jesus is a prophet or the messiah is irrelevant in this world. It may matter in the next but I doubt it. I hope that answers your questions.”
Like I said, don’t want a religious argument, just want to find out if you’re full o’ shit. Obviously you’ve told your mum what Catholic Easter is all about, you believe it’s a pagan festival, I told you what me and your mum believe it’s about. So that was disrespectful to me and your mum what you said.
Then you ask me to show some respect and stop talking about your mum (whilst at the same time talking lies about Easter and my Church), but you’re the one that said of your mum that she believes in pagan festivals not me, all I know about your mum is that you say she’s Catholic, and I know Catholicism.
Before you think about saying I talk about your false prophet and give my belief on him, that’s because @LAknat came here on Christmas time and started talking shit on a sports site
Now, you’re a convert to a religion that believes Jesus is a prophet and the Messiah, confirm that for the people here please?
So you converted to something you doubt even matters, I believe Mohammed is irrelevant but you shouldn’t believe that if you converted to him.
You stand for nothing… Christians are so tolerant now ~
You don’t believe they have gay pastors, but if the book says don’t be like that |l what do you believe in??
If you’re tolerant of everything you stand for nothing!!
I can walk through your city with a t-shirt saying Jesus is gay
you can assault the church all day, you can make fun of their show on Netflix about gay Jesus that’s a joke {[right]}
and Nothing will happen to me
If I did the same thing with the Islamic prophet I’d be dead
and what are the Christians do nothing!!!
Christianity is a dead religion — if you’re a Christian and
Christianity is a dead religion which is confined to the history books ~ it’s dying out your own pope -> the pope goes up there and talks LGBTQ ((that’s crazy)) it is over!!!
you don’t stand for anything!!!
you don’t believe in anything!!!
you have no boundaries you’re walking on!!
you’ve mocked the whole thing!!
It is a joke being a Christian now
is nothing more than advertising
You two go ahead and argue. Lmfao. Frenchman you’re ok. Laknat you’re ok. To me, in my opinion both of you are ok. You are passionate about what you believe. Although everybody knows on this site that you are wind up merchant Frenchman. But that’s 0k sometimes gets something going. There are too many threads to this discussion. It’s not disrespectful for to a catholic to ping out the Easter is a pagan festival (same as christmas). Just like its not disrespectful to point out that the earth is 6 billion years old, not 6000. It’s just facts. In the old days institutions like the church took advantage of peoples ignorance to talk some serious bullshit (back in the day when Croatian peasants couldnt read, for example). Mythology is extremely important but I dont get it confused with science or history. Like I’ve said before, I believe in the creator of the universe…..oh whatever it’s no use…you’re too invested in the bubble of your own fragile identity to see different perspectives. Just believe what you want to believe. It’s fine.
Let me just ask you one thing before I quit this conversation: (both of you). List the similarities between islam and Catholicism. Do it, go on. I dare you x
In fact no wait!!! I’ve got a joke for you all.
Jacob was a Jewish man who was shipwrecked and the only survivor on jungle island. 20 years later they found him. He had built 3 magnificent buildings along the top of the beach from wood. They asked him. “Before we go Jacob, what are these buildings?”
Jacob: “well the first one is my house….”
Ok
“The second one is the synagogue I go to…”
Ok. And that last one?
“Oh, that’s the synagogue I dont go to”
@LAknat
John 15:4
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abide in the vine, so neither can you, unless you abide in me.
As long as I abide, I trust in the Lord! Lol, should I not stand for something because you didn’t, my trust isn’t in you?
“If I did the same thing with the Islamic prophet I’d be dead
and what are the Christians do nothing!!!”
Show no mercy hey, you can do what you like you have free will. Maybe use it and mix with your kind?
Lol, you seem so angry, you have your brother @Crnkovic showing doubt in your prophet Mohammed, and instead of educating him, you’d rather come at me like a moron. Show some love to your brother, proselyte to proselyte, while I observe, does he not seem in need of you, teach him?
John 10:16
And other sheep I have, that are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice, and there shall be one fold and one shepherd.
That’s why we don’t kill people, we don’t know who will be of the fold. It’s funny a proselyte like you can’t appreciate that.
Don’t pretend to be all knowing idiot, you’re not God, you’re a proselyte that accuses other Christians to justify his own not standing for anything, it’s quite pathetic really.
Look, I myself wouldn’t draw cartoons of your prophet, but as stupid as liberals are, your law is not the law for a liberal in France. So if someone puts their God given free will to bad use even though they’re not a Mohammedan in a non Mohammedan country you religion teaches to kill them? Why not just force them to convert, that’s how your religion spread from the beginning when no one wanted it freely?
I’m from a historical perspective you know Muslims have been in Iraq for a very long time and people didn’t pick up the Quran and decide that they’re gonna start killing people ~
Isis exists primarily because the entire country of Iraq has been destroyed – There is no infrastructure anymore!!! It’s complete anarchy and in the mosaic of militant groups and bandits
and other types of militias that have developed Isis exists there
one of the greatest cop-outs
they will consider us for being biased …
is that religion responsible for the most violent in history?
I do not believe that to be the case, because:
– I do not believe the Crusades were about religion {right}
– I don’t believe that Isis is about religion {right}
– I don’t believe that the genocide of the Rohingya Muslims is about religion, I don’t believe that the Chinese persecution of the oilers is about religion!!
These are economic and political issues that get window-dressed with religion and that’s been the case historically and it’s true today!! |l extremist groups exist because of political circumstances l|
Imperialists will use religion historically for very evil means
that’s because to an imperialist –> nothing is sacred!!
Religion is merely a tool of imperialism ~
So I think that religion historically has been used for evil but it was not the source of most of the evil that’s taken place!!!
In the case of Rome and we could go through the examples
that have marred and tainted all of the faith traditions
-> I mean… I don’t believe that the Ku Klux Klan that uses a cross actually has anything to do with that cross {right}
-> I don’t think there’s anything about Christianity in there and
-> I think that if the cross didn’t exist the Ku Klux Klan would burn something else {right}
That means:
when you mix religion with an evil political agenda it becomes particularly combustible and we have to acknowledge that …
That’s why it’s important for us to push back on those interpretations to rescue our religions from those that try to use it for evil action!
Exactly
