Ivica Kostelić won his 20th career World Cup race Wednesday night in Flachau, Austria to compliment his revenge Beaver Creek mission in Colorado earlier in the season. Kostelić seems to be firing on all cylinders at the moment and is on course to win a few more titles this winter.
“Two days ago (after the slalom) in Alta Badia, Italy I was very disappointed to miss second place by just 0.17,” Kostelić said. “But the wheel of fortune always keeps turning and today I was the lucky one. But I must also say that I had two good runs.”
