CroatianSports.com’s MMA correspondent Mike ‘The Croatian Crippler’ Rožić caught up with Croatian-American UFC heavyweight Stipe Miocic this weekend in Cleveland, Ohio. Miocic was loading up on snacks and supplies at Sam’s Club on Monday before he heads to Las Vegas for his May 26 fight vs. Shane del Rosario at UFC 146. This will be Miocic’s first fight on the main card at a featured UFC event. He will take his undefeated 8-0 MMA record into the MGM Grand’s octagon on Saturday looking to impress fight fans across the world.
More on Miocic and his UFC 146 training from the Crippler in the next 48 hours.
Sretno Stipe !

That’s true, but now they have a legal way out – a loophole.
More than half of these after-school fight club members are juicing.
Testosterone Replacement Therapy. A lot of fighters are going to their doctors saying they have a drop in testosterone (usually due to aging) and they get a prescription. Many fighters have been saying it is cheating because it gives the fighters more of a chance to have an excuse if they random drug test. They can use much more steroids than prescribed and then cycle off of it before the fight.
Chael Sonnen for example is a known steroid user. He got caught a few times. He was the guy that almost beat Anderson Silva a while back (got high testosterone levels for that fight), and now he claims it was because he is using TRT. The Athletics Commission, questioned him and gave him a pass because of the TRT and Nick Diaz got caught for marijuana and he had his license suspended for a year (the hearing for both fighters was on the same day).
TRT?
@Ante maybe his take on TRT in the sport then? If he thinks it is cheating, etc.
@MB
Everything here at CroatianSports is on purpose. We didn’t get this far by accident, I can guarantee you that.
@Adrian,
These fighters are not getting fun with the interviews anymore. All they say is that every fighter is great in their own way and that they’re ready for any new challenge. Never naming out names.
He needs to win this fight if he’s going to be taken seriously.
This should be a good fight, but the rest of the card is ruined because Hunt is out and Overeem failed the drug test. At least now the doubters know for sure. Mir is going to get killed.
You should ask Miocic (after the fight) what he thinks of the other fighters in his division and how he would match up against them.
Fair enough – so long it was on purpose.
@Ante
I got it. 🙂
@MB,
Pun.
To ‘Stalk’ Prey…big fight coming up…stocking up on supplies…
Thats what I was going for.
Hate to play grammar police:
“Stocking Up”
That “SmartFood” popcorn is some misleading stuff.
Very unhealthy for you! 🙂
Cant wait for the fight!
Good luck Stipe we are with you! Give Shane his first blemish!
