Rijeka have booked their ticket into the Europa League group stage after a 1-0 victory over FC Copenhagen Thursday night in Denmark. Dinamo Zagreb will join them as well.
The goal that put them through has to be one of the most ridiculous own goals to date. Rijeka striker Sandro Kulenović came down the pitch with the ball on a solo mission with two Copenhagen defenders on him. As he made a right turn in the box, one defender slipped, fell, and took out his teammate in the process. Kulenović chipped the keeper with the ball coming off the crossbar only for it to deflect into the goal off Peter Ankersen. Copenhagen never recovered and Rijeka are through.
Bizarre.
The Wolfsberg team is not VFL Wolfsburg from Germany. It is Wolfsberger AC from Austria. The German team was knocked out on a 94th minute goal against AEK Athens to lose 2-1. This Wolfsberg makes it a slightly better Europa draw for Dinamo Zagreb.
I like Cuban Whores.
Good time for 40 CUC
these “entrepeneur” celebs are actually a lot like soccer players, they’d sell their mothers grave and even spit and shit on it to get a contract and paycheque, they’d lick ratko mladic and karadzic’s cum and shit filled ass to get an easy paycheque.
LOL, I ask you what the hell sort of idiot moron would go after this balkan serb trash severina? she is so boring in bed like a drunk starving alleyway hooker in cuba, a cheap cumbucket, what sort of a person with smarts would decide to stalk and marry this pathetic trash travelling “entrepeneur” to then shit out his children? ewww. lol It’s just pathetic, boring and shows lots of people are idiots. https://anon-v.com/tags/severina-vuckovic/

YYebiga sorry, I was having a bad day. No disrespect intended.
Cmyan myan, relyax lyttle byet
Sounds like the Bayern faithful are missing Perisic .
Bro …Y….you so angry ??
You led me astray on Wolfsburg being in the same group as DIIIINAMO…mistakes happen.
I don’t want to sound like a dick, but this is driving me crazy. I know a lot of people on here probably don’t know how to read or write in Croatian, but please try to remember there is no letter “y” in the Croatian alphabet. Dynamo is russian or ukranian.
DINAMO is from Zagreb.

There seems to be a lot of misinformation on here lately.
The Mandzukic rumor.
Rakitić coming back.
Wolfsburg in Dynamos group.
Etc ETC.
Kek would have been a good choice, but chose to stay with Slovenija national team I think. Some say he didn’t want to work for Mamic, etc, who knows. Yes, I’m afraid it may be a conveyor belt of 2nd and 3rd class managers.
I missed that as well… Wolfsberger from Austria, not Wolfsburg from Germany. Its not easy, but Dinamo have a favorable group. Rijeka’s group is tough.
RE: Dinamo coach, i’m still mad that Bjelica got sacked
Tough draw for both clubs but at least there’s money to be made.
That was Andrijasevic who made the run and chip, not Kulenovic
is wolfsberger not wolfsburg
@ Soul Champ
Rijeka have tried on and off to really build out there academy, to varying degrees of success. Some of our current players who have come through our academy have a shot in terms of turning into something; Braut a DF, Nevistic a GK, Lepinjica a MF and Vuk a FW currently on-loan to Istra. Then we had recent players like Sluga and Pandur that came through our youth squads and ultimately left for ‘big money’ deals.
Rijeka is light years behind Dinamo in terms of a youth setup. I think Rijeka would be happy if we could at least nab the good local talent and make something of them, rather than letting them go to ZG.
If Rijeka could be a decent youth setup for western Cro, Hajduk continues to build out its youth setup and captures all the kids from Dalmatia and ZG can take the rest, that’s pretty good, considering our size and resouces. Who knows, maybe Osijek continue to get bigger and they become a bigger player in the youth setup?
@ Eric
Was a bummer for Dinamo that they didn’t get Kek. I’m sure at the end of the day he didn’t want to deal with the bullshit at the club, but HE would of been someone to lead the ship and actually turn Dinamo into a formidable team come UEL/UCL. Now, the conveyor belt just keeps on trucking…
Vlasic and Brekalo against Dynamo could be entertaining
*lack*
Good job Rijeka, hard fought underdog win. Its nice to have 2 HNL clubs in Europe.
Now if only Dinamo can hire a competent coach, maybe they will have a chance to make a good run. Its too bad…Dinamo have plenty of young talent but lake a manager to take them to the next level.
Gonna be a brutal draw for both clubs
CSKA Moscow
Dinamo Zagreb

€2,400,000 for the semi-finals.
The losing finalists receive €4,500,000 and the champions receive €8,500,000.
What type of money are you getting for Europa league group stage?
I always wanted for Rijeka to create a world class academy that produced top flight ballers.
They need to find the grassroots coaches and try to model Dinamo.
What is next for HNL to become a better domestic league?
I want to see us double our output of footballers.
Our national squad while deeper in talent than in decades still seems to have wholes in too many areas?
This highlight is all anyone will remember but Rozman put on a masterclass, coaching wise, for this game. Copenhagen were the clear favorite and once we had that goal, we kept our shape and stuck to our plan and Copenhagen was never able to get control of the game.
