The Croatian champions opened up their Europa League playoff round with a 1-0 1st leg home victory over Greek side PAOK Thursday night.
If they can win/draw next week in Greece, Rijeka will join Dinamo Zagreb in the Europa ‘League Phase’ which means 8 games in Europe this year. This would be phenomenal for coefficient rankings across the board for Croatian clubs playing in Europe the next few years. The lone goal of the match came in the 39′ when Menalo headed home a Janković free kick from 30 yards out. Rijeka had 7 shots to PAOK’s 2, but only held the ball for 35% of the match. Let’s see what happens next week in Greece as Rijeka have finally found a nice groove in European qualifying after putting up three straight stinkers versus Ludogorets and Shelbourne.

Luka V’s #1 competitor i.e. Mr. Small Feet is out INDEFINITELY because of his small feet
He might never played football again they are saying
lol
Please recall Anonymous was the FIRST to speculate that the plantar fasciitis was unfixable due to Mr. Small Feet having too small feet relative to the extreme outlier of him being so tall (and corresponding weight)
Great news for Luka V. If it wasn’t for Mr. Small Feet’s career potentially being over Luka V would probably have been loaned out by now (unfairly, but Japanese market/fan base is massive e.g. see Liverpool doing a friendly in Japan this summer)
Anonymous is the GOAT of all GOATs and better than the entire T medical department and their due diligence and medical tests !!!
Nice win for Rijeka.
PAOK’s season hasn’t started yet, so maybe they were not in form yet… but Rijeka played a good game nonetheless.
The second I said Rijeka was embarrassing us, they put in two great games lol.
BTS at T’s training today
At 3:06 we see handsome Luka V drinking from the water-bottle
Thereafter, we hear the coach talk about “eyes on Man City”
Implication is Luka V should/will be in the squad for Man City Sat 07:30 EDT

Once again, Hamburg can go suck a D
Unfortunately, both Pong and Erlic got 90′ today, and their respective teams won. 3 more games for each of them until the international break…
His name is Pongracic, not Pong. Stop with the stupid nick name.
Ponyboy Gracie
What’s unfortunate about Croatian players playing well and winning games?
It’s unfortunate because Pong & the other guy are not national team caliber players and they are holding up younger players from getting called up by Dalic. ie Luka V. We don’t need either of these to mediocre players on the national team.
