ESPNFC.com has reported that 100 PSG hooligans are expected to make the trip to Zagreb this Wednesday for Dinamo Zagreb’s Champions League match vs. Zlatan Ibrahimović and Paris St-Germain.
The French club confirmed in a statement Sunday it has made authorities in Croatia aware of “persistent rumors that 100 individuals recognized as dangerous will travel independently to Zagreb for this match, which has been classified as high risk by UEFA.”
PSG has decided not to put on official trips for fans or even sell any tickets for the Group A match because of security concerns.
There hasn’t been trouble in Zagreb since a handful of Croatians bombarded a bus carrying Greek dignitaries of the PAOK football club with rocks and flares in winter of 2010. With Croatian police aware of a possible disturbance, hopefully there is no trouble at Maksimir Wednesday night. More importantly, will Dinamo earn their first point in the Champions League?
Halilovic will wait until Cro national team makes a decision on him. Why the hell would he play for Bosnia? Please explain.
Cro has been a top 10 soccer team for the last 15 years, what a joke! He will play for Bosnia ONLY if Cro doesn’t call him up, trust me. That’s what him and his father are “waiting for”. If he doesn’t get called up he will play for Bosnia as a second choice. They haven’t said anything so they don’t close the door on both option.
And if he chooses Bosnia it’s a stupid business decision on his part, period!
Pretty sure BBB will woop their ass
@Lika Joey:
Srna was a joy to watch. IMHO Shakhtar are the most entertaining team in the Champion’s League.
@IvicA he will decline the call kovacic will play for Cro.
@LikaJoey
I heard Austria is going to call up Kovacic in their next qualifier.
😉
I was @ work how did Srna play today?
If Halilovic chooses BiH who cares fuck him…he is utra talented but so is Kovacic…if his heart isnt with Croatia oh well.
Ivan Runje had a great game for danish side maybe a future croatia CB?
Clearly a SLOW news day!
Hey frenchie, FUCK OFF!
If i Were Cacic id put out this lineup Kelava Vrsaljko Vida Joe Pivaric Ademi Halilovic Brozovic Sammir Kovacic Kramaric(bring back from Lokomotiva.) or Cop But instead we will get Kelava Vida Tonel Joe Pivaric Callelo Brozovic Kovacic Sammir Carassco Rukavina/Beciraj
@PEPE
les francais ne sont pas fort de tous. Les BBB vas vous detruire si en es fache a toi
@ Ziva
“Magical run by Croatia????” We’ve done it once in ’98. And we have enough quality to do it again! Oh yeah!
As you know, we’ve reached the knockout stages 3 times. We have also qualified for 7 out of last 9 tournements. This is pretty good considering our very short history. And chances are we are going to make another splash in a future tourney. And Bosnia, as you point out, made it to None.
Ok, the possibility exists of him choosing Bosnia. If he does, we have enough good players for Croatia to continue to compete successfully.
@Ziva
Don’t forget about ’08, and going back to ’96 too.
Also ’04 & ’12 we’re essentillay knockout games against the English and Spanish.
@Sude Mi
Shitstorms can be instigated in the Trg as well.
If the Frenchies want it, it can easily be found…
Magical run by Croatia???????????? based on what.
In our history we have only advanced once when in the knockout stage of a major tourney. And we have bounced out from every tourney since the 1998 World Cup except once. So, its not like we have a history of doing much at a World Cup or a Euro. Now, granted, this is much better than what BiH has ever done.
If he goes to BiH, he’s not going to them for something other than soccer reasons. Maybe he feels more comfortable playing for BiH than he would for Cro. Who knows……The one thing that I find odd in this is that he would have already declared for Cro is we were his clear cut number one option.
@ Ziva
I still think he will pick Croatia for the footballing reasons I mentioned. But sure, he might ultimately pick Bosnia.
And if he does, he will be kicking himself when he is sitting at home watching Croatia go on a magical run. And his Bosnia gets trounced out early in a tourney (that’s assuming they even qualify). Bosnia is nowhere near in terms of quality compared to Croatia.
I’m aware but still, at least 200 non-die hard BBB still attend every game, league and CL.
Real pozvao Halilovića da trenira na Bernabeu!
http://is.gd/IcwJzG
@Ivica….I agree. To me, if he decides to go to BiH, big deal. It would be clear at that point the kid doesn’t bleed for Cro. Which is fine. Kids of mixed marriages always have an issue with identifying themselves as a Hrvat or whatever.
@ Ziva
I think he favours Bosna a little over Cro. However, Croatia and BiH’s performance in these next two qualifying cycles and tournaments will be a big factor in who he eventually picks.
If BiH qualifies for WC2014 and we don’t, then it won’t be good news for us.
By the way, props to the BBB and the real Dinamo fans. I just read that about 6,000 tickets have been sold for the PSG game. To those 6,000 who purchased a ticket, why?????
@Colin…..the die hard BBB don’t attend the matches
Croatia vs Antwerp….. I think you are trying to convince yourself that he will select Cro. He might, but BiH has a very nice team with some other young kids outside of BiH that will make them better. Personally. I don’t care where he goes. If he really wanted to play for Cro he would have already come out and said it. There is no reason for him not to say it considering he lives and plays in ZG. Which leads me to beleive he and his father have not decided or its already been decided in BiH favor. I think the current status favors BiH for his services.
Hey, the BBB are currently the only ones who do actually go to dinamo games.
@ARMADA87
Don’t BBB actually have to go to the game in order to initiate any kind of “shitstorm?” LOL
Vous Croates ne savent ni ce que vous êtes pour. sentir l’acier de la virilité mya. Vive la France!
poor French ‘ultras’ don’t know the shitstorm they’ll encounter if they wanna take on the BBB…
‘French hooligans’ lol…
I also I want to add, Halilovic is already playing for the Croatian U-17 side.
As we know, there are cases where a player plays for the youth side, yet chooses to play for another senior side. However, more often than not, players tend to pick the senior side of the national youth team they are playing for.
With the U-17 side, Halilovic is forming relationships on and off the pitch with his fellow youth representatives. There is a certain continuity that players prefer, as they would like to continue playing with players they know from the youth level to the senior national side.
@ Anonymous
I agree that Halilovic will eventually accept a call from Croatia. Currently he is biding his time, and monitoring how the teams are doing in the WC qualifying.
If his heart is divided between playing for Croatia and Bosnia, then his decision will ultimately come down to footballing reasons.
He will pick Croatia as it is a much better team. We arguably have better players in every position than Bosnia, except for maybe forward. So Halilovic will want to be around better talent.
We have a footballing history, while Bosnia has never qualified for a tournement. It’s more prestigous to play for Croatia. Which also increases his value on the transfer market.
I think the transition from Dinamo to playing for Croatia is a much smoother one for young Halilovic, than going to play for Bosnia. He has already played with some of the Dinamo players on national side. Plus there are similarities in footballing philosphy and style between the club and Vatreni.
Halilovic will not accept the call by BiH to their U-21 team. Now, that does not mean he will reject a call up to their senior side, but there is zero chance of him accepting a call up to anything less than the senior squad.
If he goes and eventually slects BiH, that is fine. His father is a mujo. We have picked up many players who were born outside Hrvatska and whose parents were Croatian. At some point we will “lose” a player the same way.
I said this a few weeks ago and I still think it will play out this way: Cro or BiH, one of them will call him up first before he is ready. At that time I think he and his old man will make some type of announcement that Halilovic is not ready for the senior team national team and reject the call up. This allows him to keep his options open when he is ready for senior team play.
Don’t get your panties in a bunch fellas, LOTS of time before he has to make THE decision.
No use speculating on junior call-ups as they really do mean f all in the grand scheme of things.
@Toni
He has not accepted the call but I think he will reject this call and accept the call for the national team when the time comes.
@Toni
That is for a U21 call and the story is legit.
Hey on the bright side we still have Saalih Muhammad and more foreign trash is coming. You are right Elvis. We lose the Croat Wonderkid. Yes he is a Croat. Bosna is Croatia!
@Anonymous
Wow I hope this is wrong. Did that shithead Mammy even try?
All that effort and he wants to play for the enemy. Fuck him and his Turk father. Get the fuck out of Croatia Punk.

Saalih Muhammad wishing you a swift return to your U.S. of A.
I’d say Dinamo should worry about the hell that Zlatan is going to give them than 100 away fans.
