We here at CroatianSoccerReport.com like to hear what everyone has to say on the world of soccer and debate to the bitter end. Well, we also like to joke around.
But I’m having a little bit of a problem with how much air time England is getting during Euro 2008. All I hear is debates on who the next captain of England should be and ‘hey, there’s Capello scouting the Croatia team for the next round of qualifiers.’ They’re getting more air time than most teams that actually made the tournament.
So CroatianSoccerReport.com ‘enthusiast’, Tome Coza, had a great idea and I want to roll with it. By the end of the tournament I want to have a Top ’10’ list of ‘Things England can do this summer because they didn’t qualify for Euro 2008.”
Post your suggestions below and then we can have a vote on the best 10. I will then try to get it into Croatian media so they can use it for the qualifiers as we will be playing England again in September.
well, i guess you won’t be making a list…
1. WHAT KIND OF IDIOT WOULD EVER MAKE THIS UP…I MEAN HOW MUCH TIME DOES HE HAVE ON HIS HANDS.
2. WHAT KIND OF NAME IS TOME COZA. WTF DOESNT COZA MEAN GOAT.
3. HE PROBABLY DOESNT KNOW ONE THING ABOUT SOCCER ANYWAY.
thats my opinion

1. Root for Croatia!!!!
Anonymous not so Anonymous, I don’t understand how you are writing england off already, when facts prove that Croatia will have their hands full now (I hope not).
I think England has no upcoming talent taking out the ovbious (rooney) but even like that with a good coach like capello they will have no trouble making WC and I will also like to add that despite the fact of no young talent its not a worry because their best players are in the 25-28 range.
Keep it real and tomorrow lets hope for a win!
You cannot write off englnd just yet. They are pissed, they are embarrased and they have a lot to prove. They have a real manager as Fabio Capello is no Seve McLaren. Croatia had a great run in qualifying beating England twice; an England team that did not have it all together and a Germany team which I’m not sure completely showed up….all I’m saying is that if Croatia loses to Turkey, or all together does not make the final game this tournament…I don’t think we get to be put in that upper-class of world football just yet…Ex. Greece would have needed to make the final of Euro 2008 and a deep run into World Cup 2010 if to gain the real respect they wanted from Euro 04. This shows they were a cinderella fluke and that is something I don’t want Croatia to be characterized as. England is now our rival, for the time being, and with rivals comes trash talk. So enjoy it while we’re on top. Let me know who you are Anonymous. I appreciate your time to write us and keep them coming. -Ante
Ante,
no offense, but this ‘top ten’ list is rediculous. Croatia will face England twice in qualifiers for the world cup. Even though I am not scared of England, you should always respect your enemy.
England is over and done with. No one around Europe is talking about England.
keeping it real…..
