In most cases, management of sports teams around the world return ticket sales to their fans after bad seasons. Not the case for Bayern Munich’s most faithful this year. After locking up the Bundesliga title with six games remaining in the season with the Champions League and DFB Pokal title games still to play, Bayern Munich management will be returning all ticket purchases this season to their fans due to lack of competition, Yahoo! Sports has reported.
“And since we do not see supporters as house cats to be milked, we have decided to refund their money for what has turned out to be a season of one-sided exhibitions. After all, no one should have to pay to watch someone play FIFA 13 on amateur difficulty and clearly we do not need their money anyway. I certainly don’t want it. I don’t pay taxes, so I already have more money than I know what to do with. We are not greedy like the English,” Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness told reporters.
Confident? Cocky? Or just plain funny?
Hoeness just couldn’t resist to send a jab England’s way. Nonetheless, if you’re a Bayern supporter and went to some games this season, you have to be a happy camper.
That is one of the many sad realities nowadays!
Gotta love our mayor. The guy fearlessly refuses to attend any Pride events.
Toronto is an extremely left wing, liberal City. Rob Ford doesn’t care. He stands firm in the face of all the opposition, hostility, law suits, cheap shots, you name it.
@Horvat
It does not matter if Croats oppose same sex marriage. The EU does and it will force Croatia to allow them. I think Sweden has a law that it will not do business with countries that do not allow homosexual agendas. There plenty of homosexuals in the hills behind the cementary in Petrcane.
Rebic must not go to Spurs… there has to be another club he could join before that shithole
I’m the first guy to oppose same sex unions!
I asked the question because I was hoping the answer would be no. I thank God most Croatian men aren’t afraid to be men!
I live in Toronto and am a big supporter of our Conservative Major (Rob Ford), who has never attended a Pride parade. Now that takes guts and integrity.
According to some this kids the new Boksichttp://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2325187/Tottenham-offer-5m-Ante-Rebic-Croatia-U21-striker-plays-RNK-Split.html?ito=feeds-newsxml

Is same sex marriage legal in Croatia?

@ziva
My only concern is the national team. At the end of the day all of them have the crook element in them.
we havent won erovision since that riva band won back in 89.. @nepoznat 8 days now, he’ll name the squad then.. i dunno if i wanna put a pictre n all that shit lol, i will tell you though a lot of ppl read these comments ..oh cant remeber where the source was from but they always name squads few weeks out before games well stimac has anyway
If by pravi hrvat you mean a crook, then yes. Stimac’s family originates from hercegovina, so the crook part makes sense.
That said, he has done a great job so far as national team coach. The better he does as coach the more his past will be ignored or a become a part of revisionist history.
Stimac je pravi Hrvat.
Stimac signs a petition against same sex adoption. Nice move. I really like Stimac, he doesn’t care about Western liberalism and its Capitalist son (gays).
@ziva

no surprise. Cro never does well in the competition. usually because the songs suck and they sing it in the native language.
Read this story about muslims. And some of you think they are ok people to live with. Fools!

Ins’t the Eurosong competition this weekend?
Ziva _ i know your following eurovision right now. Please tell us how Cro is doing….
This doesn’t fit Bayern’s profile. They dont spend big money on S. American players. Neymar’s price tage is probably more than Falcao and his is rumored to be going to Monaco for 60 million. I’m not buying the Neymaw rumor.
Neymar to Bayern. Wow!
Mandzukic is running forward that tap in all the quality service he usually receives. If I was Pep I would keep him.
Bayern could become a dynasty as the Bundesliga is light for them.
Love when Bayern is great but always weary when they give our boys the boot.
Mandzukic is good enough to keep his place
If Neymar goes to Bayern, what do you think is going to happen to Mandzukic
PS- this article was a satire piece
10% of 0 is still 0 haha
FANNIE MAE & FREDDIE MAC BOTH UP 10%

The above statement about Bayern refunding tickets is a joke. Hoeness may got to jail for tax evasion. That article is something you would see in the Onion.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FC_Bayern_Munich#Organization_and_finance
It says the Bayern is 82% owned by the club (Adidas and Audi other owners). Does anyone know if they distribute dividends to anyone or is all the money reinvested to the club? It seems to good to be true. I’m wondering who the profits get paid out to at year end.
Funniest thing I have heard in a while.
hahaha, I just read the article where this came from on yahoo sport. That is unbelievable. If they actually do that, it has to be unprecedented. Maybe it’s more amazing that they make so much other money from TV, sponsorships, Champions League, etc. Does anyone know, what’s the ownership structure of Bayern Munich? A couple majority owners or do they operate like Barcelona or the Green Bay Packers? I understand that those clubs are still majority owned by a small group, but there has to be some sort of logic behind this.
For giggles, I looked at ManU’s income statement the other day (they went public last August I believe). Their revenue is more or less evenly split up between all three avenues of revenue (ticket sales, sponsorships and tv rights). Almost a billion dollar business (worth more in a sale). Glazers knew what they were doing with that leveraged buyout a few years back
