The polls are closed and the results are in- and the winner is Ivan Rakitić! In CroatianSoccerReport.com’s largest voting poll to date, we asked who should replace Eduardo at this summer’s Euro 2008. I thank the 85 fans who took the time to bless us with their insight on this highly debatable topic.
Should we let the inconsistent Ivica Olić have the spot or Ivan Klasnić who hasn’t played with the team for the past year due to 2 kidney trasplants. Or move teenager Ivan Rakitić out of his natural midfield position. Or should we just let Petrić run around alone atop the field and just play a more defensive-minded 4-5-1 formation.
Well this is how our supporters see the situation:
IVAN RAKITIĆ– 27 Votes (32%)
IVAN KLASNIĆ– 16 Votes (19%)
IGOR BUDAN– 16 Votes (19%)
IVICA OLIĆ– 11 Votes (13%)
Play a 4-5-1 Formation with Petrić alone atop- 6 Votes (8%)
NIKOLA KALINIĆ– 5 Votes (5%)
BOŠKO BALABAN– 3 Votes (3%)
MARIO MANDŽUKIĆ– 1 Vote (1%)
Once again I would like to thank everything who voted and would like you all to vote again in our newest poll, “How will the Scotland match shape up?”
SRETAN USKRS!
