THE MLADI HRVATI ARE ON A ROLEThe U-19 Croatia team embarrassed Portugal 5-0 today to lock up a spot in the semifinals of the 2010 European Championships. 19 year-old Freiburg midfielder Zvonko Pamić scored a hat trick on the last day of group play to ensure another match. Croatia will now play tournament hosts France on July 27th. With the semifinal berth, this Croatian squad has also locked up a spot in the 2011 U-20 World Cup.
Croatia’s U-21 and U-19 squads have been firing on all cylinders this past year. Is Croatia’s next ‘golden generation’ just around the corner?

Yes, we are a sponsor of the NY red bulls…. also, 3 Croatians play for the "Tottenham Jews"… I take it you're a Celtic fan…. hold your breath for them to sign a Croat..

lol…this guy is hilarious:)P
No, the reason why I dont make my own site is because I dont have the time to make a sh!tty looking site. I have a real job which takes up most of my time and a makes alot more money than most people. I prefer to spend my free time at World Cup 98, 02, 06 didnt go this year because Croatia didnt qualify (also went to Euro 04 and 08) So you keep sitting infront of your computers for hours on end when it takes me a couple of minutes to read a post. Enjoy your mediocre lives in which you try so very hard to win arguements with strangers! My colleague sent me this link and told me to look at the stupid posts these "yanks" make…. Worth every click, OK USA

if you want a home based croatian soccer page then CREATE ONE you ditz.. OH or aren't you capable of doing it. might be a lack of knowledge of croatian football. what'd you think.. poor you…
Another thing stop speaking a foriegn language as i thought you was PURE croatian!
You also don't have any proper criticism to give, as you don't stick to the same topic. You start by debating who can access a player to a bigger club Dinamo or Liberec and then you changed the topic to quality of players just to win an arguement. Your a low level points scorer.. Here's an idea if you can't stand CSR's reports, don't actively run home from school just to read them lol
Haha I love how this website can't handle criticism (especially Ante B, who embarrasses himself with every response)… OK USA!!! The rest of the world hates you and don't need you reporting our countries football. Stick to Tottenham Jews and NY Red Stars.. Err I mean Bulls
Looks like you got an A+ in retarded Croatian grammar. Svaka cast! At least make it gramatically correct.
Ante B and his intelligent resposes:) You're such an eloquent write and your analysis is so gripping:)Clearly went to the Mamic school of debate:)

Check yourself clown shoes. Here's $1, now go buy yourself a clue.
@Dennis
Spare us your absolute garbage "what you want us to do here at CSR". "Once people are convicted, players punished, and teams dropped down to second division, will we post something on this matter"
What does CSR stand for again? Last time I checked, this is major "Croatian 'Football' news" which has gone global and needs to be addresses despite it clashing with this websites clearly biased Dinamo approach.
This website does not hesitate to report on Croatian transfer "speculation" which has not been conformed by any parties, so how do you justify the above remark from yourself?
If you want this site to be taken seriously you need to report all news whether that be good or bad for Croatian football and stop with the sickening lovefest for Dinamo and Tottenham!

@King Bronk,
I still don't get what you want us to do here at CSR. You obviously are much more educated on match fixing than we are here at CSR. Would you like to write another piece on the latest in Croatia? Once people are convicted, players punished, and teams dropped down to second division, will we post something on this matter. As of right now, its just talk. Am I saying that these people accused of this crime are innocent? No. However, this is all talk until someone bites the bullet. You can be our match fixing correspondent. You know where to reach us.
Yeah, Zach, misery loves company.

WOW!! Heads are starting to roll with Mamic's brother already implicated in this match fixing scandal John Brleković , vice president of HNS, has resigned!!!
Now will President of the HNS Vlatko Markovic be the next to fall and resign in disgrace, as I predicted in my article a month ago on CSR. All my detractors can now eat a little humble pie because none of you wanted to even talk about this story never mind cover it. This story is going to bring the entire top brass in Croatian soccer down as well as the biggest soccer club in Croatia, Dinamo Zagreb!
On an side note: I wonder what Rukavina is thinking now? Dam! Did I just sign up to play in the 2nd division in Croatia for 4 years? What on earth will the BBB do?
Believe me Alex you don't get arrested for no reason and you don't make world headlines with no evidence.
There is evidence and Dinamo Zagreb is right in the middle of it. Sorry Bad Blue Boys, but the dynasty has a little tarnish to
it now that even Rukavina won't be able to fix:)
Well said Bronk! Relegation for Dinamo and their dirty rats they call fans. How does the humble Pie taste dinamofan? Your above list of players made me laugh, all those players are crap and proved nothing in Europe except 2 (Corluka & Modric)… I would never include a brazilian in that list, it's embarrassing that he played for my country. And as for corluka and modric they were purchased for their international performances not club, do your homework idiot. So 2 quality exports in 10+ years? Disgraceful!!!!!!!
And Alex, don't try educate others on law, you yanks let OJ walk free!

Bronk,
Do you understand how the law works? Arrest doesn't equal guilt. It's called due process. Has anyone been convicted yet? No. Kranjcar would open himself up to a lawsuit(very easily done in England) by making such stupid statements.
If you're so concerned with the law, learn a liitle bit about how it works…
Slaven, I can see your parents did a good job raising you. However, your immature vulgarity aside, the fact is this match fixing story has now officially exploded all over world news. Dinamo Zagreb has "officially been caught fixing a championship game." Wake up and smell the Civape Slaven, this is the biggest soccer story maybe in Croatian history! As for my comment on Kranjcar, I never said he was involved with anything, I just thought his comment "nothing's been proven" was a little disingenuous. Everyone knew 22 people had been arrested at that point. So there you have it with Niko. Anywho, It looks like things have been proven now. How intelligent does asking Kranjcar that question look today? Now the real interesting thing is what happens next? Does Dinamo Zagreb get kicked out of the Prva Liga like Juventus did? How far back does this go? Does the Cup go to Hajduk Split now? This is going to get more interesting by the day. Stay tuned.
Take a look at the headlines on http://www.index.hr http://www.nogometni-magazin.com and http://www.goal.com
http://www.goal.com/en/news/1549/rest-of-europe/2010/07/26/2043139/2009-croatian-cup-final-was-fixed-report
Kelic would be well served to go to Dinamo. The only good transfer to come from him staying at Liberec would be to Sparta, which is basically on par with Dinamo. With all the transfers in the last few years, I'd imagine every scout has eyes on Dinamo players. One or two good years at Dinamo would almost guarantee move abroad.
Hey King Bronk, nobody gives a fuck about match fixing but you. Are you retarded? Every post you make has to have some match fixing link in it. Like ziva and I said before, why do you link Kranjcar to match fixing so much? Just proves how stupid you are. I fixed a match with your sister and I scored a few times. How's that?
rE: king Bronk
Its not my problem. Believe me i won't lose any sleep over it. If there guilty there guilty. Tis life. You didn't really think Mamic and HNL1 was always cosha did you..
@ KING BRONK…….still early, only allegations at this point. Will have to wait and see what actually happends.
As for your comment about Niko. What should he say???? Nothing…this does not concern him.
Its all starting to come out….Dinamo Zagreb caught match fixing! Now should Dinamo Zagreb be kicked out of the Prva Liga?
Comments?
Hey Dinamo fan I think you guys have a much bigger problem than who the next striker for you team will be!
This is just the beginning more to come I'm sure. I wonder if Niko still thinks its just talk? I'm sure he knows its not!
Here is another article:
http://www.earthtimes.org/articles/news/336547,match-rigging-probe-summary.html
I really must read other people's posts..
I actually said i'd give the Montenegrin guy a chance. That's cos it appeared Mamic was trying to sign him anyway.
So considering that we don't have a choice in the matter we have to take him. The alternative is the guy who used to clean Papadopoulos's boots so you know with that in mind.
However wait a minute i was actually saying i wanted a croatian to replace Mandzukic so feck off! It appears we are signing Rukavina rather than the Montenegrin Kovosan striker anyway which is what i was advocating originally. However i also was saying the guys too expensive and for nearly 3m Euros compensation and 700,000 Euro's per year in wages that is exactly what he is.
Also you say Dinamo has no financial clout over Liberec but can they afford to waste that much. Also what is Miroslav Slepicka doing at us if the Czech league is so good. I know Croat league is not tops, but i'm not sure Czech league is better as Croat reserves like Lovre Vulin seem to make it in Czech when they can't make it in Croatia. You're so wrong on all fronts.
As for the kiddy worried about his home being invaded. That's fair enough but if you're gonna call out the Bosnians and Montenegrins you should all call out all the Croats living abroad who are creaming off other countries… I don't see you doing that. Also get a name Nony… we can't have two of you called Anonymous. It gets ridiculous when Anonymous says i agree with Anonymous…
Here we go just as I said all along Dinamo Zagreb is busted for fixing the 2009 Croatia Cup!
Read it and weep! I hope its time everyone woke up to this cancer that has infected soccer!
http://www.timeslive.co.za/sport/soccer/article569895.ece/Croatian-Cup-final-rigged-for-betting–report
Hehe Lol
your wasting my time mate.
what happened to the renato kelic conversation, see you later kid!
Good luck to the 'chosen' ones. thats the funniest thing i ever heard on this site.
Your entitled to think like you do. i'll leave you to it.
I agree with anonymous.
Human beings huh? Haha you're funny, didn't know you were a comedian. While we're at it, why don't we just bring over a bunch or Serbs and Muslims?… That's right you're not Croatian and weren't chosen for a reason. If you lived here you would know the real problems like the multiple million € mosque that's getting built in Rijeka because of these montenegrins and bosanci who are crying for "political correctness" and "discrimination" which will ruin my home. Look no further than France and Germany. So do everyone a favor mr dinamofan and stay with your NY red bulls and buy as many montegrins you want
Re: Person who can't picked out in a crowd
I'm not Croatian so have no issue with Montenegrin in Dinamo. Its a human being. that's all i see. Why would i think of anything else lol.
Run me down a list of sales made by Liberec in the last few years and compare them to this and tell me which club aids a players career the most.
EDUARDO – ARSENAL
VEDRAN CORLUKA – MAN CITY
BOSKO BALABAN – ASTON VILLA
IGOR BISCAN – LIVERPOOL
HJORVE CALE – TRABZONSPOR
DEJAN LOVREN – LYON
LUKA MODRIC – TOTTENHAM
GORDAN SCHILDENFELD – BESIKTAS
MARIO MANDZUKIC – WOLFSBURG
DINO DRPIC – KARLSRUHRE
DANIEL PRANJIC – HEERENVEEN
NIKOLA POKRIVAC – MONACO
IVAN BOSNJAK/ GORAN LJUBOJEVIC – RACING GENK
TOMISLAV MIKULIC – STANDARD LIEGE
i threw that drpic one in to make it easier for you to compare to. Lets here you Liberec list. i already seen it and about from the odd Udiniese reserve that's it.
The couldn't even get Andrej Keric a decent transfer after scoring 16 goals. If Renato Kelic did well in Dinamo at least he'd be guarenteed a decent transfer.
Financial clout = do you think Renato Kelic earns more than Dinamo's players? Slepicka, Sammir, Morales etc. Just cos Mamic pockets million doesn't mean we don't also pay big wages and waste 100s of thousands of euro's every year.
Of course I noticed you are a dinamo fan, who else in their right mind would openly condone their club have a Montenegrin on their books, and backing him for a game.
Financial clout? Are you forgetting about the enigma that is Mamić? Money goes in the pockets, not out. Great club.

Re: Anonymous
For us Renato Kelic is an obvious signing. I can't recall starting a debate over whether it was right move or not for his career. I'm a Dinamo fan, donno if you noticed. You invented your own debate there. Dinamo Zagreb have more financial clout than Liberec. We can easily better his current wage.
Same with Vida. I think i said if he comes to Dinamo cool, but if he got a move abroad that was great too. I didn't expect him to get the switch abroad, but i'd never question a switch to Leverkusen as Leverkusen do not sign players and not give them a chance.
I saw that coming a mile away…
unless we have some true studs on this squad (a golden generation), getting beyond 2 players is wishful thinking.
for the above comment about possibly having Sertic on the national team…..why????? dude aint croatian, cant speak the language and has no connection to croatia beyond having a grandparent born in Cro.
@ dinamofan,
Why is Kelic an obvious signing? So he could take a step backwards in his career and go to dinamo? But I suppose you were saying the same about Vida. Luckily Vida himself had the common sense to move abroad rather than leave for a different club to play against the same opposition.
@ Ante,
I know CSR prefer people to sign in but I've got enough passwords with work, email and other crap, maybe when you update the site you can incorporate a different system? Until then I'll just sign off as #1 Gypsy.
@ Alex,
You're probably right regarding not many players being promoted to the NT, but you never know. Our previous youth squads have been disappointing, however I would be happy to gain a couple CB and DM as they are what we lack in quality… Before anyone says anything Dujmovic (whatever his name is) vukojevic, pokrivac are all mediocre at best, and it's pretty sad if a Croatian would be happy with them in the starting line up.

Out of curiosity, I looked up the 1999 u19(then called the u18's) squad- the one that got as far as the knockout round of the World Youth Championship(u18 WC). Out of 18 players, only Pletikosa became a regular NT starter. A handful of others were/are fringe NT players; Vranjes, Sablic, Seric, and Budan.
Yes, it's a great victory- especially getting into the WC next year.
I wouldn't get too excited about many of these players ever becoming NT regulars. We'd be very, very lucky if 3 or 4 ever started a match for the seniors. More likely, 1 or 2 will still be around in 4 years.
@ Anonymous,
I looked all over and couldn't find any highlights…not even the Croatian sites had them. Have you run into any? Please let us know if you have.
Also, please sign in with a name so we know who you are on a regular basis.
I think Dinamo and Hajduk are keen for some of these guys back. Vrsaljko, Kramaric and Ademi for us and Andriasejvic looks like he could be useful for Hajduk.
As for the captain Renato Kelic, that's an obvious signing for us. I'm willing to give this Montenegrin striker a chance though. Its a young player so could be worth it.
I am in Paris right now but it looks like it will be too expensive to make the trip for the semis.
I think it is. If you look at the under 17 club they just missed out finishing 2nd in their group. We have a lot of young guns coming up. Also there is Gregory Sertic who could still play for us along with Mario Gavranović. The future looks bright
Highlights?
about time a Istrian steps up and does a little something…bravo Zvonko
